A very good chai with a strong chocolate note, this would make a good dessert tea. I find that the loose leaf chais do better with a long steep time to allow the spice notes to fully emerge. It doesn't make for a bitter cuppa, just a lovely full body.

This chai is not bad but it is also not very overwhelming. I was hoping for more of a rich spicy chai with a chocolate zing but it was mainly a mild chai with more chocolate aroma than taste.

Zesty and warm chai spices really make this a lovely cuppa, though I wish there was more chocolate in the tea itself. It still works well with some milk, which makes it taste more like a cup of spicy hot cocoa.
I would recommend steeping a bit longer than the directions suggest - but I also like my tea incredibly strong. I liked drinking this with just the smallest drop of creamer - yummy!

I received this flavor for free for sharing on facebook. I will admit that I was a bit iffy on trying chocolate flavored tea, but I was surprised at how good it actually was. It reminded me a lot of hot cocoa, but with a hint of spice to it. Definitely great hot, and probably just as good when iced, with a little bit of sweetened condensed milk!
In general I'm partial to chai so I did like this. However this one was a little weak, even when brewed as recommended. Additionally, the chocolate isn't as strong as I would think it would be. My mother tried this as well and tasted the ginger strongest. It just isn't terribly remarkable.

Maybe I did not brew this with enough tea, but it really just tasted like VERY slightly cinnamon-y black tea. I didn't taste any chocolate and just the tiniest bit of cinnamon. It was a good cup of tea, just not what I was expecting. Perhaps I'm a bit too used to chai such as the Masala.

I'm not ordinarily a huge fan of chais, but the mere mention of chocolate in the name was enough for me to put a sample packet of this into my cart. I have found that I like my chais sweetened, with milk, and prepared this the same way, using honey and whole milk. I like it... but I don't love it... I would absolutely purchase a small quantity again but a larger bag would take ages to finish.
This is my favorite chai tea! Very rich and spicy. I liked it best with milk but it's also good on its own. I bought the 19 oz bag and boy is it going fast!
Definitely more chai than chocolate (for dessert, I'll stick with Tiger's Eye) but the spice is fantastic. A unique and yummy take on chai.

This is a very good chai. The chocolate flavor is spot on and the ginger and cinnamon add a nice little touch. efinitely give this a try if you like a nice chai and love chocolate.

Oddly, I thought this tea tasted more like oatmeal cookies than chocolate. There was a faint cocoa taste to it, but not a strong chocolatey one. It was still lovely, though--I love oatmeal cookies!

I enjoyed this hai, but it is definitely not as good as the masala chai. The chocolate taste is not that intense, and by having the chocolate, it gives up its spiciness.
This tea was fantastic especially in my latte machine.
The chocolate in this is very very subtle. So subtle that you may miss it. It's a flirtation of chocolate. All the same, the chai itself is very nice with a slight spicy bite at the end. The flavor is rich despite the weaker chocolate. This would taste good with cream and honey or sweetened condensed milk. :)

I am a huge fan of chai, but was a little disappointed by this blend. Maybe it would be better with milk, but on it's own, it's not really anything special.
This chai is not as spicy as the thai chai (which is great!) but it is still a good blend. The chocolate comes out well and with a bit of added ginger this tea makes a nice relaxing cup.
I think the chocolate flavor was nice, and it was a pretty ok chai. I really love cardamom in chai though, and missed not having it. The ginger flavor is strong, and I agree with other posters saying it can get bitter. All in all it's not my favourite chai, and I'd rather just use chai and add my own chocolate flavors from now on.
nice soft tea. Very little chocolate to it, but just noticeable, which is nice. I added no milk to soften the chai but it would be a nice way to bring out the chocolate, I think.
Not overwhelmingly chocolatey or overly sweet, just a nice, ever-so-slightly bitter note that adds a bit of complexity to the traditional chai spice.
This tea is my favorite morning tea so far. It is like having mexican hot cocoa every morning.
This is about as smooth as chai tea can get by definition. Still nice and cinnamon-y, and the chocolate is not overwhelming but makes the cup as a whole just taste more rich and delicious. I will certainly order again when I run out.
Just received the sampler for this tea. It is a good tea, but not my favorite.
Nice balance, I wouldn't call it terribly chocolately but the spices are nicely balanced. Good with a big on honey and milk.

This is currently my favorite tea, especially with a sprig of fresh peppermint.
It had a good flavor and is smooth to drink, and I do enjoy it (and it does help keep away cravings for sweets), but there does seem to be something missing to keep it from being an absolute favorite. Maybe mixing it with another tea is worth a try.
What could I expect with the two most popular tea edibles for college students? I treated the tea as a hot chocolate with whipped cream and a bit of cocoa powder. No regrets.

This tea was good, but not my favorite of the ones I've purchased. Maybe I'm not used to having a chocolate drink that doesn't taste like mocha or hot chocolate, but it tasted a little artificial. Still, it was a solid tea.
This tea smelled wicked good when I opened the bag! nd even better when I made a cuppa! It's not too overbearing with chocolate and it's got a nice deep flavour to it. The spices actually a great compliment. I'd love to see this used in a blends!
This tea is perfect for when you are having a dessert craving. Spicy with a strong flavor of chocolate. Add a little cream and sugar and you have dessert in a cup. Yum.
