This was a very good chai, with a wonderful cinnamon flavor, but the chocolate flavor was lacking. It was very faint, barely there. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed the tea, but I wouldn't call it chocolate.

Chocolaty good! The chai and chocolate are very different and enjoyable.

★★☆☆☆

Not as chocolaty as I had hoped for, and not fantastic, but it is still an okay blend. Not my personal favorite but worth a try.

This is like dessert in a cup. The best of both worlds of spice and smooth.

Love it! Smells wonderful when opening the package and taste great as well.

★★★★☆

This is not the best chai I have ever had, but it was pretty good, and different- I am a fan of different. It smelled like chocolate cake :D

★★★★☆

A magic deliciousness on its own --- can only imagine how heavenly it would be with a flavored creamer added.

★★★★★

Great! Chocolate notes blend well with the chai spices.

★★★★★

I liked this tea a lot! I wasn't sure at first because I tend to like more mild teas, but the spice of the cinnamon and chai was enjoyable, especially with a tiny bit of milk to make it more creamy.

Perfect balance of a bittersweet chocolate and the spicy chai. I tried it cold, w/ cold soy milk and a bit of stevia, it tasted like chocolate milk, which is always a good thing! Not a fan of brewing chai in my ingenuitea, as the flavor kinda sticks to the filter.

I wasn't quite sure what to make of chocolate tea, but its infusion with the chai flavors turned out to be quite delightful.

★★☆☆☆

I don't like to write bad reviews, but this was not my tea. A combination of medicinal, chocolate and spice that amounted to a soapy cough medicine taste I'm afraid. Others who are more partial to chai may have a different take on this.

★★☆☆☆

I did not care for this one at all. Too much cardamom for me. I don't know if it was just a poorly blended batch but it was all cardamom taste with a hint of chocolate flavor. I just didn't like it. Thinking I was being silly I brewed it several different times with similar results. I won't order again. Bleh.

★★★★★

The chocolate flavor of this chai is so rich and faintly bitter. It has heft and depth, this tea. I taste more chocolate than spice, but as I have several other spice teas, I think that fact just makes this chai unique.

This blend has become my favorite 'relaxation' blend. I wouldn't say that it's super chocolatey, but the fruity undertones you get with cocoa really go well with the chai spices. Tastes great plain or with a splash of milk and honey. I only regret not ordering more at once.

Very good. Smells like chocolate cinnamon coffee cake when you open the bag. Once steeped, the flavors blend nicely. I usually add just a splash of milk and a little raw sugar.

★★★☆☆

I was expecting a little more of the chocolate and less of the chai. It was still a pretty decent tea. however, I'm not sure I'll buy more than a sample.

★★★☆☆

Ok. Too spicy and not enough chocolate flavor or me.

★★☆☆☆

This tea was way to strong. The chocolate stands out but I ended up giving it away.

★★★★☆

This is a good chai, but not as strong as I hoped. The chocolate flavor really takes the background compared to the clove flavor here.

I can drink it all day long. We like to add a little fresh ginger.

★★★★☆

Lovely, mild chai with a rich chocolate taste. I steep two teaspoons for 3.5 minutes in my Ingenuitea and it's perfect.

★★☆☆☆

This was too spicy for me. The cinnamon flavor overpowers the chocolate flavor.

★★★★☆

It was not as chocolate-y tasting as I thought it would be based on the smell, but it was a nice chai regardless, and I could taste the chocolate. I thought it tasted best with a little bit of milk.

This is one of my favorites. It is great when you add creamer (ice cream or gelato). Amazing flavor.

★★★★★

This is my moms favorite so I bought her a whole pound of this. She always raves about this flavor. I couldn't taste much chocolate but the overall flavor of the chai was very nice and relaxing.

★★★☆☆

It was not as bold as I expected. I think I wanted a less subtle chocolate flavour.

★★★★☆

this is good. something about it reminds me of vomit if i think about it the wrong way but i think i might halve the dose next time.

★★★★★

The spiciness of the chai and the sweetness of the chocolate really blend well together, almost like a dessert. Curious to try it with vanilla flavor, since I love vanilla chai.

On its own, this tea smelled so good out of the bag but once brewed it was pretty forgettable. Blended with other teas, however, this chai has merit :]

★★★★★

Very warm and comforting. The chocolate flavor is understated and more like cocoa undertones. I can't wait to buy this when it gets cold again. It would make the perfect fireside sipper.

★★★★★

Very delicious, I'm always happy with Adagio's chais. The chocolate only adds rather than distracts from the complexity of the spiced tea. A must have for the chai and chocolate lover.

This tea smells like chocolate but does not taste like chocolate, chai, or a combination of the two.

★☆☆☆☆

I really did not enjoy this. I didn't taste any chocolate, and it reminded me more of gingerbread than a cup of chai.

★★★★☆

I haven't figured out the best way to brew this tea.. Also think it could be more chocolatey.

★★★★★

Everything about this tea is enticing. The smell is like a nice autumnal hug and the combination of flavors is fantastic. Especially good with cream and sugar, though it would still be tasty on its own!

This is one of my favorite teas on Adagio. I love how all the spices come together and the smell of the tea is wonderful! Although it looks like quite a bit of the ginger ended up at the bottom of the bag so these last few cups really have a bite to them!

Chocolate chai is not just a favorite of mine, but of many guests who have tried it when visiting! Great anytime, especially good when curling up with a blanket by the fire, or something to get you going in the morning! Replaced coffee for me! Also great in blends. I used it in the Seventh Kingdom blend, and really enjoy it!

★★★★★

All I can say is YUM! It is perfectly balanced. Good with milk and sugar !

★★☆☆☆

It's possible that this just isn't to my taste. This tea was much too strong for me. I tried to prepare it differently, but nothing seemed to help much. The smell of the tea is nice, but I couldn't handle the strong flavor.

★★★★★

What a delicious cup of tea! Good with or without sugar and very great with a little splash of warmed milk.

this was my fav, or well one of them all these teas are amazing

★★★★★

Delicious dessert-like tea. I'm partial to the extra cloves Adagio puts in their chai teas. that coupled with spicy ginger and a chocolate flavor adds up to a fabulous combination. Can't wait to use it in blends or to just drink it for some sweet, cozy, comfort.

★★★★☆

Not the chocolatiest of teas, but still a great chai.

not really a big fan, but then again i'm not really known for my fine palette.

★★★★☆

Fantastic, found it to be good with a bit of honey. Chocolate chai is never a waste of a cup. Would get again.

★★★★★

Thanks to Adagio, I'm really enjoying chai teas, and this one was the first I ordered, and it's wonderful. Chocolate laced with warm spices, it actually reminded me of gingerbread. I ordered the pyramid bags for convenience, and they were perfect for a camping trip.

★★★★★

Great cinnamon and chocolate flavor! Tried it with a little milk and it was fantastice!

★★★★★

This is my absolute favorite chai. I drink it with a splash of 2 milk.
