Chocolaty, rich, warm and perfect for a fall night or winter morning. Also amazing in a latte!
Exotic Masala Chai flavors from India paired with dark chocolate. Soothing cocoa, zesty warmth, seamless texture.

Chocolaty, rich, warm and perfect for a fall night or winter morning. Also amazing in a latte!
One of my favourite chai's from Adagio. I love chai teas, and this is one of the best I've had! Adding just a touch of sugar and some milk makes this a perfect cup.
A nice, smooth, tea. Great sweetened and with milk.
This is a really good tea for dessert with some honey in it!
Chocolate and chai didn't sound good to me at all but when I saw the reviews I thought I would give it a try. I just got a sample to try and had it first thing this morning. When I first opened the package I could really smell the chocolate with just a hint of spice. The taste is well balanced and the chocolate comes on strong but has a nice finnish of the chai. It is not a sweet chocolate taste, it is a pure cocoa taste which goes well with the flavor of chai. I decided that I must get more and this is going to be a new morning regular!
Not the best tea, but not a bad cup. I didn't get a huge amount of chocolate with this sip, and the spices were a bit more muted than with the vanilla chai. If I brewed stronger, I suspect this would taste like hot chocolate with cinnamon.
Not much of a chocolate taste, more like a little bit of chocolate with a heap of cinnamon. Still good though.
This was SO good. I got it as a free sample, and it was absolutely amazing. Once it's back in stock, I will definitely be ordering.
I actually first got this in the chai sampler and it was far and away my favorite of the bunch. I didn't think a chocolate flavored tea could taste good but this is amazing! The chocolate flavor isn't overpowering and the spice that remains is fantastic.
I like that the chocolatey flavor takes a little edge off of the spices for me. I'm not a chai lover, but I am a chocolate lover. You can't quite taste a true chocolate flavor, but it's more of a feel. If you've ever had teas with pepper in them you know what I mean. In comparison with the masala chai it just has less of an intense spicy edge.
Nice chocolate flavor with real chocolate nibs in the mix. A nice change from the ordinary.
This is not chocolate as in 'chocolate covered something' chocolate. Instead chocolate is used as a savory flavoring to round out the chai and bump up the nummy factor to about a million.
I really like this tea. I'm not a huge fan of the chocolatey teas, but this one has a nice twist as this flavor goes.
I am a big chai fan, and I thought this was very low-key, as chais go. Generally, I prefer a chai with a pretty spicy kick. You won't find that in this tea. But given it's a chocolate combo, I think the flavor profile works.
It's not too chocolaty, just subtle notes. It will give you a shot of energy. And the scent is heavenly.
It's very chocolatey, but the chocolate kind of overwhelmed everything else.
warm and cozy...perfect for a cool November evening!
I am loving this. It's the wonderfulness of Chai that I love with just a bit of chocolatey goodness.
The spices are decidedly more immediately apparent than the chocolate, but the chocolate is there. I absolutely adore this tea. Lovely with milk, of course.
For my tastes, the chocolate didn't add anything to the chai blend - I found it a bit too bitter for my preferences, even though I'm normally a fan of dark chocolates. The tea had a distinct chocolate smell, and it added some darker notes to the tea, but overall it did not blend well with the spice e.ements of the chai.
I had never heard of chocolate chai before, but I am definitely glad I tried it. As peppery as a chai but nice and chocolately.
This tea was interesting. It has a wonderful smell. It was full bodied and rich with a nice subtle chocolate undertone. I tried it with a bit of milk and honey and think that I prefer it straight. It is probably something I will just drink every once in a while as a breakfast tea.
Love chai, this one i drink when i want something lighter than hot chocolate :-)
This is my first chai and I LOVED it! Very great flavor!
Not really a fan of this one. The taste just wasn't there for me. It didn't really taste too much like chocolate, but more like a chocolate cream. Overall it was just okay. 2/5
I love this tea. Helps me with chocolate cravings all while saving the calories. .)
I got this as a free sample but I will definitely buy it next time. It is perfect with milk and agave nectar!
Chai is great on its own,but add chocolate to it and you have one unique tea that is comforting as well as delicious! Give it a try, you will like it!
I didn't really taste the chocolate in this tea. This is not have the taste I expected.
Good flavor, yet even with the addition of chocolate, nothing beats a pure chai in my opinion. However, this one is good and with some steamed milk it's amazing.
An amazing chai with a touch of chocolate. So smooth and delicious. It has a sweetness that is just right but I still take it with some milk and sugar. A definite repeat buy.
Good chai, had to use more tea per cup than suggested though. Would order it again
This has become my favorite chai, over a traditional chai. It is so chocolatey-cocoa, with a rich and spicy taste that makes the milk (I use vanilla soymilk) turn into spiced light cocoa.
So this is my first tea that I'm reviewing on here. Upon opening the bag, the smell was a deliciously strong assault on my nose. The spice from the chai is wonderful, with the rich depth of the chocolate. Once brewed, the chocolate taste definitely becomes way more subdued than the initial scent would have you think, but the spices do not overpower the tea. I like my teas on the sweet side, so I added a bit of honey and some soy milk, which brought out more of the chocolate flavor, though it was still very subtle. Overall, it was a very delicious tea!
I need to preface this by saying I'm not really a fan of chai teas in general. I prefer black and green teas. I've been trying to branch out in my tastes so I thought I should give a new to me chai blend a go. For what it is, it's good. Tastes like gingersnap cookies and with a mild chocolate note. However, it's just not for me. Too heavily spiced and bitter.
This tea! Is one of my favorites that I ordered. The chocolate isn't the dominating taste in this blend and it's fantastic. The chai is strong and spicy and is oh so fantastic with milk, sugar and honey. Will be ordering again.
This didn't taste like I was thinking it would. I was hoping it would taste like when I was eating Chocolate Chip cookies and drinking the Masala Chai, but it didn't.
I really love this tea. I was expecting a very strong, smoky cocoa flavor like in a mate tea, which I do not like, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this tea tasted more like a chocolate gingersnap cookie with just an essence of chocolate and spice. It does brew pretty weak, so definitely up the amount of tea per cup.
Tastes like chocolate chip cookies. Makes my entire apartment smell amazing and is great.
I have tried brewing this so many different ways and every time it's just bitter and awful, regardless of the steep time.
My friend gave me a taster of this tea and I choose to drink it one morning after a very stressful beginning of the workday. I was immediately calmed as I inhaled the incredible aromas and then soothed as I sipped the delicious mix of tea, milk and sugar. Heavenly.
This is a pleasant spiced tea, which doesn't really taste like chai or chocolate to me. I never use sugar in my tea so that might change it a bit, but with milk, I get strong clove flavor.
I like both chocolate and chai but I did not like this tea. I was disappointed because this is the first I've not liked.
I love Adagio's masala chai, but this was a disappointment. The primary ingredient is cinnamon tea, and I can barely taste any chocolate or anything else for that matter besides cinnamon.
As much as I did enjoy this tea, I found its flavor to be lacking. It had nice spicy notes but the chocolate taste for which it is named did not seem to be there very much, though when made as a milk tea using a chocolate milk fixed this easily.
Not as sweet as I expected! And this is not a bad thing at all. This smells like pure spiced chocolate in the bag. I probably spent far too long just smelling it at first. It makes a lovely tea, but definitely needs sweetener. The chocolate flavor unsweetened is like the flavor of unsweetened cocoa, which is a little distracting. Add sweetener (I use two Splenda), and you get what's almost like a tea version of Mexican chocolate. Add some half-and-half to that, and it's indulgent and comforting. Anyone who likes their chocolate hit with cinnamon and ginger (and I do!), this is an excellent tea when handled properly.
It wasn't what I was expecting. The chocolate isn't the main flavor, I mostly tasted cinnamon. It wasn't a bad taste, but it isn't something I would want to drink on a daily basis. It smelled great though.
This is the best chai tea I have found, across all brands. The chocolate is not overpowering at all, just adds smoothness to the chai. A very smooth soothing flavor, a scant teaspoon of sugar brings out the flavors, no creaming necessary! A truly wonderful tea!
I don't know if it is just that I'm making it wrong, or what, but I've tried four different ways to make this, and it never comes out right. Or maybe I just don't like the taste? Either way, I guess this just isn't my cup of tea.
(Get it?! It's funny because puns)
Chai tea is so tasty. I am always up for trying a chai with a twist to it. This is very good.
I'd had chocolate chai before, and didn't care for it overly much, but this one was particularly delicious.
Some warm and comforting~ Love chocolate and chai is wonderful for Fall!
