Very nice with milk and sugar, reminds me vaguely of a spiced chocolate cookie, though I wish the chocolate flavor was stronger.
Exotic Masala Chai flavors from India paired with dark chocolate. Soothing cocoa, zesty warmth, seamless texture.

Very nice with milk and sugar, reminds me vaguely of a spiced chocolate cookie, though I wish the chocolate flavor was stronger.
ONE OF MY TOP FAVORITE TEAS! BUY THIS TEA NOW, YOU WON'T REGRET IT! Tastes amazing with some sugar and cream!
omg I brewed it in almond vanilla milk. added sugar. This is heaven!
I wish I could give this 4 1/2 stars, because I thought it was more 'very good,' but not quite 'great' to my tastebuds. I found the chocolate flavor to be delicate (it could be that I just don't have a very sophisticated palate when it comes to tea) and it took me a couple of sips to decide if I liked the combination of the spices with the cocoa flavor.
That being said, after a splash of milk and a light dusting of sugar - I didn't think my usual honey would complement it as well - I do like it, and am liking it more with each cup. The spices aren't overwhelming and though unusual versus what I usually drink (moroccan mint,) it's very good, and I will be getting this again.
P.S. VERY excited to try it with some vanilla soymilk as one of the other reviewers mentioned!
I really do adore the chocolate chai, both in blends and individually. It has a spicy/sweet combination that really can't be topped, and I love it every time!
I usually prefer a spicier chai, but this is a nice treat. I didn't find the chocolate flavor overwhelming at all.
I had this before in a blend and found it wonderfully warming and spicy, but on its own, I find it rather bland. It smells good, tastes so-so, but it seems to have lost its heat.
A little too much cinnamon for my taste, like many other chai blends. A nice hint of chocolate, but not overly sweet.
I love the chocolaty snap of the spices in this tea. Strong and robust. Good on a cold winter's night!
Not as rich as I expected, but would probably benefit a lot from using whole milk for a creamier taste.
Chai is absolutely one of my favorite tea, and chocolate chai just seemed to hit it right for me. I think it's good any time of the day but it seems to be its most welcome during midday or in the warm cozy evening. Definitely a tea to snuggle up with.
I was very skeptical about this tea when I got it in the Chai Sampler, so I tried it first. It smells like it would taste like artificial chocolate. After reading reviews, I decided to try it with a little milk and sugar, and I fell in love. It's a lovely breakfast and dessert tea, and it turned out to be my favourite in the sample. I'm also now a converted chai-lover, and have ordered this tea in a bigger bag.
Very soothing and comforting. Oddly, makes me think of old books and a fire.
This tea is so great. I got a sample of it and it very quickly became a favorite. I plan on ordering more very soon. Great with milk and a little sugar
I love this tea. When I first heard of chocolate tea I thought someone must be joking!! But then I tried it and I am absolutely hooked. It's amazingly nice!
I am a fan of chocolate though not necessarily chai. It isn't exactly my cup of tea (huhuh that was lame), but it is a good cup of tea, regardless.
This is like the masala chai, with an extra dose of sweet chocolate flavor. Great for those mornings when you need a little energy but also feel like indulging yourself.
Not as chocolatey as I was hoping for but still a good cup and a nice variant on black tea.
I love chai and chocolate, and this is a GREAT blend of the two. A little cream and it's divine.
Upon opening the bag, I was hit with an amazingly warm, sweet, and comforting scent filled with hints of cinnamon and chocolate. However, to me, this tea smells better than it tastes. While it is still delicious, I just couldn't taste any of the chocolate. It does leave a pleasant sweet/spice aftertaste though! As a chai it is good, but if you're looking for something chocolate-y, this probably isn't the tea for you. Though I'm going to try adding some of my chocolate chip tea with it next time and see what that does.
Spiced teas are among my favorites. The chocolate is noticeable.
good chocolate chai tea. nice and roasty with hints if chocolate
I really wanted to love this tea. I didn't taste as much chocolate as I wanted. I was hoping for it to taste more like the masala chai with chocolate. As it was, it tasted a little bit more like gingerbread to me.
I'm not a huge fan of chocolate in tea. But this one isn't bad.
I haven't loved any chais I have received lately. I used to buy one from a store in FL that was phenomenal but they quit making it and now I am not a chai fan. :(
This is a delicious tea. The Chocolate adds a great flavor that allows the tea to be sweet but still have that great chai taste.
I was really hoping to like this tea, as I like both chai and chocolate. However it tasted only of chai, and the chocolate flavor seemed to have taken a back seat to the ginger-clove-cinnamon spice combo.I really wanted a nice chocolate tea to replace my chocolate cravings.Never the less it was an amazing tea, that I would buy again.
This chai is soo good! Wonderful with a little bit of sugar and milk especially. Very smooth, spicy, and... well, chocolate! Be sure to not over-brew this one though, it gets bitter and over powering very quickly. I found that 3 minutes brings out the best flavors.
The chocolate ceylon is definitely the strongest element here, as one would expect. I wish that the cloves and cinnamon were stronger, because my favorite part of a chai is the spice and the rich clove taste. One interesting thing about this blend, though, is that the ginger is really apparent, particularly if you brew the tea for over three minutes or so. It lends a very sweet taste that is oddly like coconut--so much so that I had to check to make sure it wasn't on the ingredients list. Great for chocolate lovers--chai lovers might want to add a dash of cloves or cinnamon from their spice rack, though.
My husband and I didn't enjoy this one. The black tea part is way to overwhelming and even with adding honey to sweeten it was still ick.
This tea was amazing! I had never had a chocolate tea before but I have always been a fan of chai. When I opened up the sample I received from sharing my purchase on facebook I was pleasantly surprised! I can't get enough of the smell alone and it makes me want fresh cookies. There was a hint of spice without being spicy and with just a touch of sugar I couldn't get enough.
It's lovely! Spicy sweet and comforting. It's one of my go-to blends in the morning.
This chocolate chai is delicious! I ordered a sample just to try it and I wasn't disappointed! With just a little tiny bit of sugar, it begins to taste like a delicious spiced cocoa! The hints of cinnamon bark really make this tea- and I'm not a fan of chai. I'm gonna stretch this sampler out and savor it, but trust me, I'll be back for more.
I love this is in the morning with a bit of soy milk. I used to drink the chocolate chai lattes from Starbucks, but I prefer this tea much more!
I mix it with caramel tea, add a splash of vanilla almond milk and a tiny bit of stevia. It's delicious!
When I opened the package, it did not smell chocolate-y at all. The cinnamon overpowered everything else in smell and taste. It was good, but i wish it would have been more chocolate-y.
Another solid offering from Adagio! Chocolate and Chai - what's not to like? Best served with milk and sugar.
Spice and rich, perfect with a splash of milk and some honey. Perfect for cold winter evenings.
Strong chocolate flavor. Spicy, definitely has a kick to it. I make mine strong with half the amount of water and thin it down with almond milk after brewed. Reminds me of a mocha coffee!
Absolutely delicious, a new favorite. Ordering a full size as soon as I get paid.
The scent was almost like gingerbread coffee, and overall it was a good taste, but the chocolate was lost within the spices. I would have liked a more balanced blend between chocolate and chai.
This tea is fantastic. If you like your tea sweet on your own or with a bit of sugar, this one is the one for you. It tastes almost like a chocolate chip cookie!
one of my favorite chai teas on adagio. second only to rooibos vanilla chai. great on it's own, but also a fabulous addition to a blend, if you want something rich with a kick of spice.
Delicious! My new favorite Chai tea! (and I've tried the good ones)
More chai than chocolate, but that is exactly what I was looking for! It blends well with other chocolate teas and adds a hint of spice. I was thinking of putting it into one of my own blends to replace chocolate chip (too sweet when paired with tiger eye) and found it was perfect.
Love the chocolate chai, especially with milk and sugar
I really like this, great after dinner tea. I would adore a rooibus like this.
I like this tea, though I expected it to be a bit more chocolate tasting.
Surprisingly mellow, had to brew very long to make the flavor come out
One of my favorites. I like to make it double strength, then add milk and honey to make it sweet and creamy.
