I am not normally a fan of chai, but this was a nice change. I used milk and a little vanilla torani syrup in it and I was quite happy. It felt like I was drinking hot chocolate. I could see drinking this at night for comfort and warmth... if it wasn't caffienated.
Not exactly a fan of this tea, I found it to have a bitter taste to it. A friend said the same when they tried it. I had to put a lot of sugar and milk in there to try and balance out the bitter flavor. It wasn't bad but not something I plan to get again.
This tea was great. Not too over powering with chocolate.
I prepare this as a proper chai with milk the way my friend from India taught me, and it is an EXCELLENT chai base! Needs no other spices, just milk and sugar. Brilliant!
Note: the chocolate flavor is not overwhelming, it is more of a subtle hint.
Brewed this in milk for 5-10 minute with raw sugar. The ginger overpowered the drink. Didn't taste any of the chocolate sadly. Glad to try it as a sample, but not my favorite cup.
I got the sample for free which is probably good. I'm still not sure how I feel about it. It's a nice chai, not as spicy as some, but I felt the chocolate flavor was lacking. I put a fair bit of sugar and it still had more of a bitter chocolate taste. I was hoping it would come off a little sweeter. But overall, it's not bad. It was definitely drinkable and maybe I'll get another sample to play around with.

I did like it, with a sprig of milk and sugar but could of had a more of a chocolate taste. I usually double up on the tea but the tannins tend to make me nauseous otherwise.

I love chai tea, and this blend is wonderful. Though i wish there was more chocolate it was delicious all the same. Strong cinnamon flavor, which is wonderful.
meh.. it's just black tea with cinnamon bark which is the true chai.. it tastes like bitter medicine. I like my starbucks chai latte way better .(
It wasn't what I was expecting, but it was pretty good. There wasn't a very strong chocolate taste.
This is an extremely rich tea...enough so to be a less-sugary substitute for hot cocoa on a cold, snowy night! Overall, it has less spiciness to it than the masala chai, but more depth of flavour and a smoother texture. Plain, there is a hint of bitterness, but this can be balanced by adding sweetener. I prefer it with unsweetened/plain almond milk and a touch of honey. Preparing the tea in milk could be a dessert on its own! Definitely have a care about over-steeping, as it *will* become bitter.
One sip and I added almond milk, a second sip and I dumped this down the drain. Based on the description, I wanted to love this tea. Thank goodness, I had just purchased the sample. All I could taste was the overpowering taste of cinnamon and absolutely no chocolate flavor.

This tea is such a great cross between hot chocolate and tea, with the spices from the chai to make it that much better. A great option on a cold night.
I was surprised by this one. It wasn't bad, but I didn't get as much chocolate as I would have liked. That might come out more with some milk. I drank this one hot with some sugar, and I mostly got a lot of ginger. I'll have to experiment with future cups.
Not a fan. The ginger overwhelms this blend, and I can't even taste the chocolate. I can imagine it, but I can't truly taste it.

I love this tea! It's my go-to morning drink, especially when it's a little dreary out. The chocolate cheers me up, and the caffeine puts a little pep in my step. I recommend it with a little bit of milk and sugar to really bring out the chocolate taste. I recently got some more because I like it so much.
Okay, I'm not going to lie. This tastes amazing. It tastes just like a family favorite that isn't even made anymore--I'm so glad that we can finally get our favorite chocolate chai blend again! Thank you, Adagio!
I got this tea as a free sample with another order, but I've had my eye on it for a while. It's a very good tea. I like my chai with a little less spice, and this lightly spiced tea was perfect for me. The chocolate notes were subtle, but on the whole very pleasant. I drank it with milk and brown sugar, which brought out the chocolate nicely. If you like really spicy chai, this might not be the tea for you, but if you enjoy more subtle chai, then I recommend this tea highly.
One of the tastier teas I've tried. Makes a great desert tea, or just have a cup on a cold day.
I wasn't sure I liked this at first, but on trying it a second time, I loved it. I think it would be delicious steeped in milk, though I haven't tried it yet. The spice is lovely mixed with the chocolate. It gives the whole cup a taste of decadence without being too sweet.

This is my absolute favorite tea in the Chai collection. I put a little bit of International Delight's Cold Stone Sweet Cream in it and I'm golden!
I thought that this tea tasted more like chai than chocolate. In fact, I didn't really taste much chocolate in it at all. I'm going to try cold brewing it once it's not winter any more and see if that makes a difference.
Ginger flavoring is way too overwhelming. Where is the chocolate? I don't even get a hint of it.
This chocolate chai is OK. Maybe I haven't figured out how to fix it right. Steeping it in water makes it too spicy and not creamy enough (even with added cream). steeping it in hot milk makes it too weak. I will have to continue to experiment with it to see if I can make the perfect chai with this tea.
Not very chocolatey, but it comes out a bit more with milk (almondmilk in this case). Not my favorite, but actually rather nice.

This one was tucked in my last order as a freebie sample, and I am SO glad it was. The chocolate, cinnamon, and ginger are a delectable combination, especially with a splash of vanilla almond milk. Just be sure to use the full 2 teaspoons suggested on the bag, or it'll be too weak.
It's a very unique taste. It probably takes a few times of drinking it to get a better understanding of the flavor. More of an acquired taste, it feels like.

While it is a yummy chai, I didn't really taste much of the chocolate. It smells spicy and warm and is a great winter drink.
I am so bummed this one is sold out right now. I went through 3 ounces in record time. It was slightly spicy, deeply chocolately, and a lovely late afternoon or evening cup of tea.
Loved it. Comming from a family that drinks mostly masala chai every morning, this was a nice mix up. I don't even want to drink masala chai anymore, I will reorder this for sure!
