I luuuvvvvv this tea. It's full and rich and feels like a treat.
This tea is as decadent as it sounds. Smooth and rich, with an edge of spice. The chocolate flavor is present without being overwhelming and balances beautifully with the other spices. A lighter, sexier alternative to hot cocoa, this tea hits the spot on a brisk winter evening. I add plenty of milk and honey, and occasionally a touch of cayenne.
I made a batch using the Home Made Chai Latte recipe found on instructables.com, only without the cloves and other spices that recipe called for because I didn't have any on hand. It was so good! For that recipe, I used two teaspoons of tea leaves for every one teabag asked for, and it came out tasting incredible! Like spiced hot chocolate! A must have.
Smelled more interesting than it tasted, although it tasted pretty good.
I have never been one for Chai tea until now. I love the taste of this tea with some cream and a cube of sugar. The spice of the chai mixes very well with the chocolate.
I tried this because it was 1/2 the price of the tea that Teavana makes. It's about 1/2 as good.
I was a little iffy about trying it, since I didn't like the last chocolate chai I tried, but this is infinitely better. I was expecting a bit more chocolate taste than there was, but it actually wasn't disappointing at all--I think a stronger chocolate flavor wouldn't have been as good. I brewed it a little stronger, mixed it with some milk and a little sugar, and I can safely say this is my go-to tea, taking the place of the regular chai I've been drinking.
I LOVE chai. I LOVE chocolate. I had never tried chocolate chai, but you can imagine how excited I was when I saw the two combined! :D
Chocolate chai? What more can you ask for? Perfect for when you're having a chocolate craving :)
I love to mix this with strawberry or blueberry and make iced tea with it
Very good = a nice smooth blend. The chocolate is very subtle not overpowering at all. I would reorder this one.
The chai does kind of overwhelm the chocolate, but it is there.
I like this best with 2tsp per cup to get a more intense flavor.
I was looking for a nice hint of chocolate, but this tea is overbearing with it. Thankfully, it mixes quite well. I use it with a chai tea and it balances beautifully. Try a sample first, and experiment a bit.
I love to drink this instead of hot chocolate. It has the same flavor profile without the richness and heaviness. I just add a little honey and a splash of milk and it is great!
All the warm spice you'd hope for in a chai tea, but the chocolate notes lend it an unexpected body, a sort of earthy richness. A new favorite.
This is really good. The chocolate is nicely complemented by the level of chai spice.
If I could only have one chai for the rest of my life it would be this chai. The spicy really complements the chocolate really well.
This reminds me of a nice dusky bittersweet cup of hot coca with a bit of spice to it. Never tried a (non white) chocolate tea before, and this one is quite nice!
Although the aroma is very chocolatey, the taste doesn't really come through as strongly as I expected. Still very delicious, though!
I don't know if it's something about my brew time, but it just came off as way too strong and a little bitter for me. It's hard for me to note either the chai spices or the chocolate. Happily, though, its strength does give me a good kick in the pants.
This is by far my favorite chai tea offered by Adagio. Sweet and smooth.
Definitely hints of dark chocolate. All in all it's pretty good.
Love me some chai. Chocolate makes it even better
Never had any chai tea before. Was looking for something with a chocolate to it and I thought this might be it. Well I didn't taste any chocolate at all. None zip nothing, all I tasted was the cinnamon,it was over powering. If you like a lot of cinnamon then this tea is for you,if not pass on this one. It's just ok.
I absolutely love this tea! The spices and chocolate are perfectly balanced. The only downside is that the chocolate has turned my 'IngenuiTEA' slightly brownish...but it's worth it.
Awesome tea! Rich chocolate with a memorable spice flavor. My absolute favorite! If you like chai tea, this is a must try!
I love how sweet meets spice with this tea. With a touch of milk it is always a favorite!
I like chai. I like chocolate. Chocolate chai...perfect.
This tea has a hint of spiciness, with the warmth of cocoa. I enjoyed it very much.
Taste can't deliver on the superb smell, but still pretty good.
I love this tea! Sweet and tasty it's the perfect start to my day!
The ginger was a bit overwhelming, but otherwise a great tea. It's without a doubt a dessert tea, especially with a bit of cream or milk for added richness. The cinnamon and chocolate played well together--just tone down the ginger and you'd have a perfect cup.
tastes great - feels like cheating with chocolate but no guilt!
The chocolate chai has a great fall flavor and has just the right hint of chocolate.

Smell: Warm chocolate with a hint of cinnamon. yummy!
Taste: This tasted like gentle cinnamon, but had no hint of the chocolate.
Thoughts: This was pleasant, and would be good for cold nights, but I had hoped this would be a stronger chocolate flavor. The cinnamon is nice, but not what I had hoped for.

After steeping for the appropriate time, I jingled my tea ball and this seemed to loosen the leaves which created a yummy flavor!

One of my favorite chai's! The chocolate taste is such a great addition.
This tea tastes just like chocolate spice cookies! As with any chai, coconut milk makes the perfect addition.
I was unsure how I'd feel about this tea. But it is wonderful!!!
Excellent scent out of the bag and as steeping. Lovely flavour- the cinnamon goes great with the chocolatey undertones! Great to wake up to!
I really enjoy this tea. The first thing you notice is the wonderful aroma. It is a very smooth and flavorful cup of tea.
Delicious and spicy. A nice wake up treat for the office.
Not bad, but not the best tea I've tried from Adagio. I like the regular chai mix best!
This was the flavor that convinced me to order in the first place.
I'd never had chocolate chai before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm a big fan of chai and chocolate but the two together are a spicy yet smooth blend of awesome.
Nice flavor, but for myself I do not like to over do it. It can taste bitter (for me) if I use to much or let it brew for too long. But when it is done right it has a wonderful taste.
Wife loved it, she is a big fan of chocolate and chai teas.
Warm spicy chocolatey tea to satisfy the holiday chocolate cravings!
I love chocolate chai. You obviously got my letter. Thank you! Not much chocolate to it, but I added a dash of cocoa powder
The chocolate chai is a tad bland, but I may be seeping it wrong so I will just keep trying!
