We really enjoyed this tea! It's exactly what you think a chocolate chai should taste like. I enjoyed it with milk-- no sugar.
Exotic Masala Chai flavors from India paired with dark chocolate. Soothing cocoa, zesty warmth, seamless texture.

We really enjoyed this tea! It's exactly what you think a chocolate chai should taste like. I enjoyed it with milk-- no sugar.
This as very tasty. It needed more spices for me to consider chai, but after you put aside the thought of this being chai and just taste it as a tea, it's very good. My kids loved it too.
Good chocolate flavor, but a bit one note by itself. I mix this with other chai teas (like thai chai) for another layer of complexity.
The spicy bite of a chai blend, sweetened with a soft touch of chocolate? This tea is a winner, and a wonderful base for any blend you might be considering!
I really wanted to like this, but it just had this horrible undertone that turned into an aftertaste that I couldn't shake. I tried adding milk and sugar, because what is chai without milk and sugar, but that aftertaste persisted and eventually I felt sick. I'm not a veteran tea drinker, so maybe I just didn't have the palette for it, but something in this did NOT agree with me!
It was great. Steamed for 5 minutes and it was perfect.
Absolutely fantastic! Very mild for a chai with a great chocolate taste.
Was not happy with the spicy and chocolate taste. Although it smells nice, I wasn't thrilled by the musky backnotes
Chocolate Chai is my new breakfast tea! I love it in the mornings. Recently I tried mixing halfandhalf with coffee grounds in a pour-over coffee maker. Half coffee, half Chocolate Chai tea? Heaven!
Although I truly enjoyed this. I personally find that I prefer the classic chai flavors, with the exception of the Thai chai which I surprisingly really enjoyed! If you really like chocolate. this is a great blend!
So good with milk and sugar. I like to drink this one hot.
I'm not wild about Chai unless it's a supporting flavor in another tea but this is the best chai you could hope to have. Mixes great with hot chocolate for a deeper spiced flavor.
this has a much more subdued spice to it than most chai- which i think works perfectly for this tea! i added a bit of unsweetened original almond milk, and it complemented it PERFECTLY. one of my favorites by far!
I was not a big fan of this tea. It was much too spicy for my taste and didn't really achieve the chocolately smoothness I was looking for. I think I would like this better if I liked a strong chai, which unfortunately I don't.
I love most chai teas and also love flavored chocolate nutty teas, so chocolate chai sounded wonderful. It turned out to be so AWFUL that I couldn't even drink it. My husband tried it and hated it, too. We both agreed that it tasted artificial, almost metallic. There were no actual chai spices or chocolate liqueur or bits that you would find in good quality teas. Just 'natural chocolate flavoring' and 'natural chai flavoring' and a weird, icky artificial taste. Would like to have returned this for my money back, but too much time has passed. This purchase, along with a couple other teas, was my first order with adagio and it almost turned me off the company altogether, but the other teas we tried were good. If you are a tea lover like we are, I recommend you skip this tea!
Anything chocolate you can pretty much sign me up for! This tea helps satisfy my taste for chocolate while giving me a little of the aroma of the the same! Thanks!
By far my favorite chai I've tried. It's like hot chocolate and a great chai tea had babies! Add alittle cream and sweeten a bit...ah bliss!
I prefer my chai a kittle spicer but this is a good tea
One of my all-time favorite chais. Not too overwhelming, just the right amount of chocolate and spice.
This is a warm and comforting treat. I will be reordering this. It's indulgent without the calories.
The flavors are dense in this herbal blend, but they're also very well orchestrated so that makes for an enjoyable tea drinking experience!
I drink this with a warmed mixture of skim milk, coconut milk, honey, ginger, vanilla bean, cinnamon stick and cardamom. The combination really brought out the chocolate notes and I was very pleased. This tea smells wonderful and tastes just as good.
The taste of chai and chocolate makes a wonderful flavor.
This was my favorite from the chai sampler--chocolaty and spicy, but not overly sweet.
Mellow chocalate flavor in this tea. Very good in the afternoon for a boost. Good tea overall.
Too spicy for me. I've only had one brewing. I will try again though.
The cinnamon is quite strong with this one. Still, a very tasteful tea.
I found this very bitter and not very chocolatey. Nothing I would order again.
I'm definitely going to have to get more of this, the BF and I loved it.
Haven't tried this one yet but If it's as good as the green chai,I'm sure it will be great
It was just OK for chai. The chololate seemed to impart an artificial flavor, but was OK with a little sugar and milk.
This is a good tea for someone who likes chocolate a little bit. Someone who likes having a random taste of chocolate but DOESN't want a BIG burst of chocolate flavor. It doesn't work without a bit of sugar, maybe a tablespoon or so in a regular cup. This does taste good but not my cup of tea.
Smells amazing, tastes kind of like a spicy hot chocolate if you add milk and sugar. Would probably make an excellent chai latte.
You don't want this one to steep for too long, because it can get bitter quickly, but it tastes awesome if you can avoid that!
This tea is delicious! I love chocolate and I love chai. Put them together... amazing. I put a little raw sugar and a non dairy creamer in it and it is such a treat.
I really wanted to like this, but couldn't get past the first taste. The scent is delicious. I realize the issue I had with this tea was the ginger root, which I dislike a lot.
Wasn't a huge fan of this tea, but some of my friends did like it.
I get this tea for my spouse. She loves chai and this is certainly one of her regular 'go to' beverages.
This is one of my favorites of the chai available. It's great with just a little sugar and milk, or even blending with the masala chai for a sweet and savory tea.
I am not a huge fan of Chocolate teas or coffees, but if you do, this is the perfect tea for you!
A beautiful chai by Adagio! Not too spicy like some of Adagio's other chai teas. It reminds me of a spiced Tiger Eye blend. caramel and chocolate notes. Mmmm very enjoyable!!! Since I wasn't making a huge mug of it I only used one heaping teaspoon and it still brewed up wonderfully.
The taste was only cinnamon and it was to strong.
Not a fan or this tea. The chai blend is very, very earthy and does not combine well with the chocolate. Might be a wonderful flavor for some palates, but not mine.
I love chai of all types and the chocolate is a nice change from masala. Chocolate blends well with other traditional chai spices.
With some creamer, nothing is more delicious on a rainy morning.
Love, love, love this tea. I'm a chocoholic and this helps me from going for the chocolate treats.
My friend send me a sample originally and I fell in love. I'll have to buy another bag for my sister since she fell in love with tea after her mission trip tried mine and then attempted to drink the whole cup I'd just made.
Now this was quite uplifting! Perfect blend of chocolate and ginger. I felt as cozy and warm as a cup of hot-cocoa! I may experiment with the vanilla decaf to see if I can add a lovely cream-like taste to the tea. I'm already planning on buying more!
It smells amazing but I was a bit disappointed with the taste.
The taste lacks substance not sure how to describe it
It tasted weak thin hollow and I did use the amount suggested and a bit more when I brewed it the second time I let it steep longer too
I smell everything in the tea that I should, though the chocolate aroma is a little lacking. The taste is incredibly lacking. Not sure if I have to add sugar or anything to it. I'm disappointed.
