This is a good passable tea. The flavor mix well but not perfectly. This tea is not I will likely reorder.
Tried it as an experiment knowing I've never liked chocolate teas much. It was better than some of the other chocolate teas I've tried, but not enough to convert me to liking them. Probably will not order again.
A friend told me this one was strong. I thought I'd try to follow the instructions the first time though. May have over steeped just a bit, but oh wow this is not a tea for me. I'm going to try again with less tea and see if I like it any better. If not, the rest will be passed along my friend.
This one was really strong but I liked that. I really wish I had bought a larger size. I had a sore throat and I noticed that it really helped ease some of that while tasting the terrific.
The chocolate taste is very subtle and is sometimes overwhelmed by the spiciness of the chai. When I add milk, it mutes the flavors too much. It deserves some more experimentation on my part, but though the tea is really good, it could be a bit more balanced.
While the flavor is good, it was not one of my favorites.
This is definitely one of those teas you have to be in the mood for. I'm not sure if it is the cinnamon or the ginger root, but there is a flavor to this tea that is quirky. It does have a nice chai-chocolate taste, but perhaps those two aren't supposed to work with each other. Not sure I will order this one again, although it does smell nicer that it tastes.
This didn't have a very 'chai-y' taste to it. It wasn't bad, but I was prepared for a blast of spices that never came.

I love this chai! The chocolate is noticeable but not overwhelming and the spices have a nice amount of bite. Make with milk and sugar (or honey) for a yummy dessert treat. Also works well as a component for making your own spiced tea recipe.

This is the first chocolate tea I've ever tried so I didn't really know what to expect. It has an interesting taste but I don't think it's for me. I'll try it with a little milk next time to see if I like it better.
Very nice, it smelled a bit strong in the bag. But after it steeped the spice of the chai and the chocolatr mixed well and it was a very pleasant cup of tea.
I have always been weary of mocha flavors but this is actually a wonderful desert tea
This has a rich, sweet taste. The chocolate can be a bit bitter if steeped too long, but it's delicious if you get the timing right.
I seriously couldn't get enough of the smell when first opening the bag, but that is just the begining. The taste is rich but not too much, hardly need any sugar or honey.
Like others have aid its a good Chai. I do however find myself liking the masala chai better.
Smooth chocolate balances out the peppercorn/spices well. i enjoyed it both warm and cold.

It is complicated, not quite sure what to make of it. It is definitely good, but it is a unique mixture of chocolate, coffee, and chai in succession. Each flavor hits your palate one after another, but never at once.

This was AMAZING!!! I sipped on this all day! I have a tea infuser thermos, so it kept my tea warm all day. I love the exotic taste!
What's not to love? A great chai including a nice hint of cocoa- not sweet like milk chocolate, but deep like dark. Pretty tasty with honey! Still loving this Chai the best, and ordering bigger bags!

It was fairly good. I wish it had more of a chai flavor, and more of a chocolate flavor. Instead it felt like a weaker black tea with a touch of spices. Perhaps if I had doubled it, I may have suited my tastes better. That said, it was still tasty.
I did not expect to like this tea as much as did, the chocolate flavor was a great addition.
Eh alone this tea is just ok. I think it works better when paired with other teas...like english breakfast or something that can cut the sweet.
the regular masala chai puts this one to shame. it is an okay tea, but i can just blend my normal chai with one of the other chocolate teas i have and its fine.
This is a new favorite of mine. I am planing to order more right away. The ginger, cinnamon and chocolate flavors blend perfectly. It is a fantastic tea for winter.
Rich, substantial, sweet and comforting. A large cup makes you feel as though you have eaten a satisfying snack providing energy and joy.
The cocoa nibs are in the forefront of this flavor with very mild cinnamon and just a hint of the ginger. More chocolate than the spices in this chai. Yummy but careful not to oversteep!
As a lot of the other reviews have mentioned, it's a nice blend between chocolate and chai without being too much of either (which is good, because I'm not much of a chocolate person). This is especially a superstar in blends because it gives extra layers of complexity to other flavors, but even on its own it's a really good tea that's a good choice when you don't want something too sweet or too spicy. Recommend a little bit of sugar with it.

I was expecting the chocolate flavor to be overwhelming, but was pleasantly surprised when it was more subtle and complex. Wish the spicy chai flavor was more present, but it's still a decent flavored chai.
Adagio's chais are not the absolute best I have had, but they are excellent! Chocolate chai is the best of the bunch. Chocolate always complements chai very well, and this variety does a great job of balancing them. The chocolate is neither too sweet nor too bitter, and neither flavor overpowers the other.
My mainstays are black teas with no cream or sugar, but this tea is one of the few that I go for when I am in the mood for something sweet and smooth. As with most spiced teas, the milk and sugar/honey are really necessary to bring out the delicious flavors.
This was a good tea. I think the chocolate should be easier to taste, it seemed a little weak.
It was quite good. I smelled the chocolate more than I tasted it. Next time I'll try a splash of creamer added.
It took me a couple attempts to find a combination I liked for this this one. Definitely tastes better with milk.
I love this tea! The chocolate works well with the spices and isn't overpowering, just adds the right amount of flavor. I usually use a big mug when making this tea so I can add a portion of milk, but it tastes good without the milk too. I wish it came in 6oz or some other size between 3oz and 16oz, though.
There's too much of a chai kick to it for my taste, but not a bad tea overall.
Not a usual fan of chai or chocolate, but this tea was wonderful in that it wasn't too much of any one thing. If I had any complaint, which I don't, it is a strong cinnamon tongue taste afterward.
I drank six full cups of this tea in one afternoon and added cashew milk to the last one only, but I preferred it straight.
