Nice mix between the chocolate and chai tastes
This is good and lives up to its description but it isn’t my favorite flavor combo, probably personal taste
I enjoy Pur-Erh teas and this chocolate chai is really good. I love chocolate and chai teas, and this tea is a perfect blend.
This tea was very earthy and complex. It was a very nice treat.
I really like this one and it's very smooth. The main thing I don't like is the recommendation to use 2 heaping teaspoons per cup, meaning you go through it pretty fast. But it's a nice treat once in awhile.
I enjoy this as an afternoon treat with milk. It has a wonderful aroma and flavor of spices, with a subtle hint of chocolate.

This has a really nice spice and earthy flavour. It reminds me of Mexican hot chocolate. The caffeine is nice and subtle and didn't make me jitter or crash. I made mine with a Moka pot and poured the concentrated tea over some iced almond milk.
I was hoping for a little more of a chocolate flavor. The tea itself is nice but there is nothing much going for it. flavorwise.
This is a very strong flavored tea, which is good if you're looking for that.
The ginger in it is the dominating flavor. It actually tastes like those dark chocolates with ginger pieces embedded in them.
Get this one if you're looking for a strong dessert tea for milk and sugar.
Why do I keep buying different kinds of 'chai' from Adagio? With each new flavor I try, I keep expecting the pleasant balance of spices that masala chai has in Indian eateries, but in Adagio blends, the taste of cinnamon is always overpowering. Can t taste chocolate nor tea, only cinnamon.
Update: Tried brewing with equal parts of this chocolate chai pu-erh and assam. The blend (with milk) is much more palatable.

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this one, so I just got a sample. It wasn't bad, just not what I was expecting. I think I would have preferred a little more spice to this one. I felt like it was a little too muddy for me. I tried it plain and with stevia and cream. My sister was in town this weekend, and she enjoys chai, so I gave it to her to see if she likes it.
This tea brings me to a happy place. It is so perfect with a touch of sugar.
I absolutely love this tea! I can't do more than one cup of coffee in the morning without having to clean everything, so I've been making this instead and it is just the right thing to get me through my work day. I was expecting to be hit by chocolate, but it's actually a very smooth taste.
I love chai/spiced tea but it's hard to find one that works well brewed like tea rather than made in a pot like masala chai. This one checks all the boxes! I think the Pu Ehr really lends itself to chai spices because it can withstand a hotter/longer brewing that brings out the chai flavors without becoming bitter. If you have a friend that thinks tea tastes like 'nothing,' make them this to blow their mind. Yum!
This was just ok. Not what I was expecting as chocolate flavor was minimal.
I’m not always drawn to pu erh teas but this is honestly the best chocolate chai ever be tried from Adagio. There’s something creamy and earthy from the pu erh that’s perfect with the cacao nibs and chocolate chips.

One of my new favorite autumn teas. It s weird but I like that it takes the best parts of both chocolate chair and pu erh and makes it work.
The ginger, cardamom, and cinnamon carry the aroma and flavor. I found there to be little to no pu-erh aroma or taste. Ultimately, this tea steeps to be a medicinal-tasting liquor. I tried adding plant-milk to it, but the overwhelming ginger-cardamom flavor remained. I think dairy would maybe succeed in mellowing the flavor.
My first time trying a Pu Erh tea. The chocolate in this isn't overpowering, and it really complements the smokey black tea flavor. Some hints of chocolate-mint in this too. It also re-steeped quite nicely.

I'm a fan of pu-erhs in general, but this one is a wonderful treat. The spicy notes really compliment the darker tea. Honestly, one of the better chai-type teas I've had. While the chocolate is good, it doesn't steal the show, but adds a great depth to the pu-erh. I will definitely drink more chocolate:pu-erh combos in the future.
This is the best tea I ve tried from Adagio so far! The chocolate and the spice notes come out clear and bright, and the nice fermented taste of the pu erh finishes it off. I love it.

Chocolate flavor blends well with the Pu Erh flavor palette. Chai isn't particularly strong or present but does add some brighter notes to balance the chocolate and Pu Erh flavors
I enjoyed the scent of chocolate emanating from the unboiled tea. Once prepared, the tea lost most of those chocolate notes under the bitterness and earthiness of the black tea. Still, I enjoy black tea. Overall, not my favorite, but certainly not a bad tea. Next time, I will add a little cocoa powder and see where that gets me.
It was ok, I prefer the regular chocolate chai. Too many competing flavors in this one.
The chocolate chai pu erh is amazing! This is by far the best chocolate chai I ever had. Everything is perfectly balanced. What I love most about this tea is that the chocolate is not bitter. Some chocolate teas are too bitter for my taste.
Our whole family loves this and we make a big pot every morning. It will become a daily staple this fall.
You can definitely smell and taste the chocolate and cinnamon. It's nice, too, because you can reuse it for a few brews. Don't toss it after your first! You won't regret how far this blend can go.
I am not very familiar with pu erh teas, so I am not totally sure what a good one tastes like. That being said, I enjoyed this cup, and found it to be on the earthy side, with a distinct punch of chocolate flavor bursting through. Will try it as a latte to see if this changes the flavor any by adding the milk...

I really wanted to like this tea. I really did. I love chai, I love pu erh, and of course chocolate is a great flavor. The combination just didn't work as I was expecting. It's a decent cup of tea, and I won't mind drinking it again, but I guess I had high expectations for it.
This tea is SO GOOD. I find I have to sweeten chocolate teas a little more than others, but it's not that this is bitter; I just want chocolate things to have a sweet touch. The chocolate and the spices blend beautifully. I drink this when I want to treat myself.

Woah! What a seamless and comforting flavor combo. A tiny bit spicy and cinnamony, a whole lot of silky chocolate, and smooth pu erh adding to the depth! Absolutely love it and will definitely keep this around. What a great idea! (Edit- I am less smitten with it than I used to be after reordering it and having it consistently. It’s nice, but not amazing as other chocolate blends)

This is my 2nd favorite tea! I highly recommend that you try it with milk. It's almost like a tame chocolate milk, but it's so unique of a taste that I think you need to try it for yourself!
