impossible to oversteep which is a blessing. i share this with my kid and sister a lot, it's like a dessert in q cup.

I wanted a new tea to try and I like Chocolate Chai a lot so I was like okay, let's try this! Very good. I do get a kick of cinnamon in the taste and it's a great pick-me-up in the morning.
I wanted to like this blend and thus have tried it cold brew and hot. Both ways the spices overwhelm the blend. No chocolate flavors were noted to my tastes. Added sweetener and milk but ended up tossing all cups down the drain. I am not sure what I am doing to get such undesirable brews. The PuErh is overshadowed by the spices and the spices are not balanced. I always shake up my tea leaves before scooping. I will keep trying to get it right because the other reviews rave on this blend!
Pleasantly surprised. The chocolate and chai spices are the perfect accompaniment to an otherwise odd flavor.
This tea tastes how the concept of home feels.
It is rich in a spice combination that is instantly relaxing.
I don't know a lot about tea besides the fact that this one makes other teas less enjoyable by comparison and I've had to learn not to compare other teas to it in order to enjoy them fully.
This is a nice full-flavored tea. The chocolate aroma is awesome!
The perfect breakfast tea to give me energy for teaching!
This is dessert in a cup! Great when you are dieting.
I like chocolate, I like chai and like pu-erh. I could see a few chocolate pieces and see the puerh but the only thing I could taste was ginger, ginger, ginger. When I sifted most of the ginger out the flavor is better, but I'll stick with Chorange
Nice and chocolately! A great tear as long as I don’t hav rot too late in the day. Would love a decaf version!
This is a warm, comforting tea that is great in the fall and winter. Not one I want to drink every day, but when I want a chocolatey tea this really hits the spot. Well balanced.
Chocolate is very subtle. The flavors of the chai overpower it. Otherwise, it is still a great tea
Love the chocolate flavor and the zing of the cloves and cardamom. It also has great cinnamon undertones. It could become my new fave!
I decided to run this a bit differently, don t hate, it turned out great!
Step 1: start the water going.
Step 2: Add tea, sugar, and milk to the infuser.
Step 3: Add boiling water to the infuser.
Step 4: stir to make sure sugar dissolves and then wait your 5 minutes
Step 5: Enjoy the best chocolate chai Adagio offers! @adagioteas
One of my favorites of Adagio's blends, a comforting and spicy chai with a dark, sweet, pu-erh base. Best during autumn and winter, but frankly...I like this tea so much that I don't think the summer heat will stop me from drinking it!
This is my first try of a Pu-erh, so my evaluation is more from a chai perspective. This was really tasty - the chocolate flavor is not very pronounced but does form the base of the nice, cinnamon-y chai. It might be the pu-erh, too, but the chocolate notes were more on the bittersweet side, which I enjoy. I found myself gravitating to this tea for a mid-afternoon treat on chilly days. Next time I will buy a bigger bag!
I was hoping for more of a chocolate flavor. I found the chocolate was overwhelmed by the spice. It does have a mellow taste (not spicy) and a little sweet (not sure if that's the chocolate or the cinnamon.) There's definitely more than just cinnamon in here though. I found adding a little sugar wasn't quite enough for me... I also added some milk and now I'm much happier!
I love all the Pu-Erh teas, this one is especially nice spicy and chocolate wrapped up together in one yummy tea.
Perfect for breakfast with sugar and milk. Not as strong as I was expecting though @adagioteas
Add milk and it tastes like an upgraded hot chocolate! So good.
The best chai I've ever had! That said, I am partial to Pu-Erh teas.
Oh yum! This is going to be a repeat order! I made as a latte with a tiny bit of honey for evening sip.
I really can't taste much of a difference between this and the regular chocolate chai, but that's ok because they're both on my favourites list. Top tier tea, chocolatey spicy perfection.
This chocolate tea was the favorite from our late fall tea tasting. We loved it so much, we all ordered some!
I was surprised by this tea. I tried it without milk and sugar, and it was weirdly almost floral? There's obviously nothing floral in here, but that was just the impression I got. Floral, and some spice, and not really any chocolate. Adding milk and sugar turned it right into a regular chai with all the normal flavor, real mild on the pu-erh.
Ok tea... not my favorite chai, the chocolate doesn't pair well in my opinion. But decent tea.
Big fan of the flavors here. I love chocolate and chai, and this delivered. It's my first time having Pu-erh, so I can't speak to that part of the tea.
This tea doesn’t have as strong of a chocolate flavor as I wanted. The chai feels a little overpowering.
I was nervous to try this because of the mix of chocolate and spice, but this is delicious! Not too much of any one flavor.
Big time yum! The chai adds a spicy flavour to this super delish chocolate tea.
This is a delightful tea. I wish I had ordered more.
This is quite a nice desert tea! It's spicy and earthy without any additions, but with a little splash of cream and sugar the chocolate flavors explode. Excellent blend!
I hoped to enjoy this more than I did. Nothing overly enjoyable, but not disagreeable. It was just a tea with a little chocolate and spice.
Spicy, almost surprisingly so. Excellent with milk+
Not a favorite of mine. Smells delicious though. My body didn’t react so well.
Chai with a bit earthier undertones from the Pu Erh. The chocolate compliments the earthiness of the Pu Erh. Over time I've found it's really not assertive enough for me.
I gave this tea as a gift to my Mom. She was very happy with this tea. I can see her getting this tea again.
Excellent flavors and not overwhelming on any one front. Excellent tea. Brewed as instructed.
I was excited to try this one as I’m a huge fan of the pu erh hazelberry and love chocolate and I love chai... it's ok. I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could. It's a bit heavy on the ginger flavor, which to me drowns out the other flavors in the blend. I can barely taste the pu erh and the chocolate is very understated.
What a delicious blend of chocolate and spices. I like it better than my morning coffee!
My 3rd time ordering this. So smooth and nice to drink.
YUM. Such a rich combination of dark teas. Perfect for a cold morning. Like more pu-erh, I enjoy them more if I rinse first (pour an ounce or so of water, sit for 10-20 seconds, drain, refill to actual amount wanted and steep for however long).
Has become a staple in our house. Deliciously chocolate, just the right amount of chai spice. Highly recommend!
This one has the same problem I experience with many Adagio chai blends: the spices end up acrid. I like the Pu Erh spice, where the earthiness of the pu erh counteracts that acrid note, but it doesn't work as well with this one. And the chocolate just kind of sits there on top of the spices without really blending. And because of that acrid note, I'm not willing to try additional infusions, which I can usually do with pu erh. I didn't hate it but I don't know that I'm willing to try it again.
Spicy and earthy with a touch of sweetness, this is a lovely balanced Chai!
This tea has so much going for it. At first the spicy notes prevail and then the chocolate base comes through, along with a touch of earthy pu-erh. Rewarding and satisfying cuppa.
Omg, this is fantastic!! New favorite. It is a warm, complex, delicious spicy pu erh with mild chocolateyness. No fishiness, no prerinse, I will use 2 tsp next time so the taste will be stronger.
The spice level on this is great, it works really well with the chocolate flavours that are not super prominent but definitely there. Looking forward to more of this as the weather grows colder.
My favorite chai tea. Strong but not overpowering on the spices.
Pleasant chocolate flavored chai, but I wish the chai flavor was a bit more forward. Still quite enjoyable.
