Chocolately and earth with a burst of energy from this exotic tea! A nice chai tea that always satisfies.
Wish I could taste more of the chocolate but it is very smooth and I like it a lot.
Honestly one of my favorite teas. It still has all the the flavor on the second and third steeping
I swear that I have reviewed this tea before, and gave it four stars for 'meh' but this blend really brought the flavor.
Not sure how I feel about the Pu-Erh with chai spices still. Spices were most upfront flavors, chocolate on the back end. Only had one cup so far, will possibly update after a few more.
I like chocolate teas, and spice, but perhaps I just don't like them in combination! It's not strong enough in either flavor for me to enjoy it fully. Others may enjoy it, as it is a nice even blend, but just not for me.
I love the flavors of this tea, I would drink it again! I added just a splash of milk. The combo of spices and chocolate is such a great way to start the day!
Delicious - not as chocolatey as you might think. Perfect for those who want a hint not a flood of chocolate goodness.
This has a strong chai flavor, great for any chai tea lover. I thought it was well-balanced and I liked the spicy ginger.
Chai and chocolate blend extremely well in this tea. Slight ginger wasn't added surprise. Added a touch of sugar and a splash of milk brought all the flavors together.
this was suggested as a replacement for the smores' chai from DavidsTea and it didn't really taste similar enough to that tea for me to buy more for that reason. it tastes okay and it isn't bad cold brewed either.
Delicious but I love the regular chocolate chai more.
I tried this tea because I wanted to see if this was a dupe for David's Tea S'mores Chai. It wasn't. It's not an awful taste but this is definitely not the same. I use the David's Tea S'mores Chai to help wake me up. This tea didn't wake me up. I don't know who decided this was a dupe.
This was OK, but nothing special. I didn't really get a chocolate flavor at all. Tried both hot and iced, but not for me. I'll get some other teas instead.
It doesn’t come off as much of a pu-erh but I love the spice blend and it is quite drinkable even when over-steeped
I tried all the Chai teas. This one was very good! I loved it so much! I will be purchasing this again
I thought I didn't like chocolate flavored teas much, I thought I didn't like pu-erh tea much... I did like Chai. I tried this in the December 2023 Advent calendar and immediately bought a bag. Chocolate and spice and everything nice... Is this what they serve in Heaven...?
This chocolate chai pu-erh is lovely. It’s a velvety blend of chocolate and chai spice. Perfect with milk too.
Delicious! A perfect chocolate chai. I love the spice combination and that it is not too bitter.
I feel like it needs more chocolate flavor. I added cream, which helped. Overall, it is good Chai.
I found a tea I enjoyed on David's teas and used Adagio's matching service to see what tea offered by Adagio was closest to David's teas S'mores tea. This was a good match, with a lightly sweet smokey flavor, just like sitting around the campfire.
Has a more cinnamon flavor than one is expecting at first but the chocolate notes pop and is great with some milk.
This is the best chai I have had from adagio, I prefer it against both the Raja Oolong, and the Masala. I was worried the Chocolate flavor would be too present, as it often is in chocolate teas, but the balance is quite good.
Love, love, LOVE this tea! Tastes like you drinking a decadent dessert without the guilt. I drink this without any sweetener or milk
I was heistant to purchase this, but after tasting it, I love it! Not only can it be brewed traditionally (5m@212), but I love it 'grandpa style' where I leave the tea leaves in my cup and just keep refilling it with water. There was no 'fishy' taste with the pu-erh, it never got bitter, and made it easy to enjoy on the go. Will definitely buy a bigger bag once I run out.
Upon first try, the Pu-Erh flavours overwhelmed and tasted dusty, musty and off. I added a little clover honey and a few drops of half and half cream. It became a lovely blend that was unusual to all my previous tea experiences. This blend has now become a regular earthy addition to my pallet which I choose as one of my top two teas - next to ThaiChai.
A few months in... it's still a favourite!
This is so much better than I thought it would be. I really don't get much chocolate, but it is a wonderful chai type drink!! I have only had it hot with and without honey, and it is good both ways. This will definitely have to get on my rotation.
This is probably the best 'chocolate' tea I've ever had. Just enough chocolate to be chocolatey and wonderfully supported by the other spices in the mix. My son loves it with milk and a good bit of sugar, and I can't say I blame him. It's a great treat, but not a 'daily drinker'.
I like Pu-erh tea for those days I need a kick in the rear to get me going. The added Chai and Chocolate are so interesting, giving spice and chocolate. I had to try and I am glad I did.
I like the flavor, although I do not think it tastes like chocolate or chai
This really tastes like chocolate pudding to me. I really enjoyed it. I recommend a little nugget of brown sugar with it
I really enjoy this tea. I am a chai lover and a chocolate lover and this tea has both. It’s sweet and spicy! Yum!
I love pu-erh teas, and the addition of chocolate makes this a great mid morning pick me up
I really like the spices with the strong pu-erh tea. I added a bit of cocao and cream since the chocolate flavor wasn't quite strong enough. (It never is for me, though!)
This is such a fabulous tea and much better than the regular black tea chocolate chai. I either drink it regular with milk & sugar, or if I'm home and feel like a little extra indulgence, I heat half a cup of milk in the microwave and steep it in half hot milk and half hot water.
Some seriously wonderful flavors in here. Really good for folks who want to like pu-erh but don't normally like the earthy flavor. The chocolate and other spices mask it completely and I didn't taste that at all, although I normally enjoy pu-erh earthiness. My biggest issue with it is that you really can't steep it more than once without having to add another scoop. It's significantly weaker the second time around.
Yummy! I really loved the flavor balance in this one. The chocolate and chai went well together and Pu-erh tea is quickly becoming my favorite tea.
This was perfect! I really enjoyed the light chocolate taste. It was just enough to take the craving of a sweet tooth away.
Very pleasant tea, and can go for many infusions. Not bitter. Was nicely surprised. Enjoyable, glad I tried it.
A smooth, earthy, and well balanced chocolate chai pu-erh tea. This is a nice comforting tea that's perfect anytime.
My first impression when I opened the packet was spiced chai. As it brewed I smelled hints of chocolate. When I tasted my first sip I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth the flavor was. I usually like my chai to be stronger on the spice but this was a mellow cup that went well with my chocolate bar.
This was a wonderful chai tea blend! I love the spices, cinnamon, and smooth chocolate flavor combination. It was a perfect cup of tea to sip hot and with a little added cream and sugar. Great blend Adagio! (5 min @200)
I was a bit disappointed with this tea. It had a strong ginger aroma when I opened the packet and that carried through in hiding much of the chocolate taste. Based on other comments I had high hopes, but perhaps it was just my packet.
(3.5 g, 14 oz, 212 for 5 minutes)
Excellent chocolate tea with warm spices. I had mine with oat milk and it was delicious!
A earthy chai, very good flavor, I feel i got more ginger and cinnamon then chocolate, I think I like the regular chocolate chai just a tad more.
The flavors were all fairly good, but I would prefer a regular chocolate chai, as it was just too many things for me.
Falling in Love with all that is PuErh! This Chocolate Chai is just what every cozy day calls for!
I think that I may have used too much water brewing my Communitea sample as the flavors were all there but lighter than preferred. The earthiness of the pu erh paired really well with the chai spices. Chocolate was hiding in the background gently peaking through. Note to self, watch the water to tea ratio to amp up those fab flavors.
A chocolate chai Flavor (190 @ 5 min.) Add Little Rock sugar.🫖☕️
Ginger meets chocolate gives an almost floral taste! A unique and cozy tea that I’d like to drink again soon!
