An interesting twist on classic Moroccan Mint tea, which traditionally combines Gunpowder green tea from China with fresh mint. We kept the latter and replaced the smoky notes of Gunpowder with the muscatel highlights of a Darjeeling from India. The result is very a refreshing cup, with bold, cool minty notes, smooth and relaxing texture and flavor. Very intriguing cup.

Ingredients & Lore
blended with peppermint leaves & spring darjeeling tea
Gunpowder is the favorite green tea in Morocco, where it is commonly prepared with lots of fresh mint and plenty of sugar (Moroccan Mint tea). This delightful beverage is enjoyed several times a day. Local custom dictates that the tea be poured in such a way as to create a sizable foam atop one's glass (you need a distance of about 12 inches to do this). Small, ornately gilded glasses are customary, and traditionally, so much sugar is used, you can see it settle in the cup.
