All of adagios fruit white teas are always a hit. The white tangerine and white peach tea together are fantastic. Must try!
Delicate white tea from Fujian, China infused with the sweet tangy flavor of tangerines. Juicy and playful.

Light fruity flavors. Great by itself hot or iced, or blended with other teas.
This is a very mild tea. It has subtle notes of tangerine. I usually enjoy green tea, but this white tea is very drinkable.
This one is okay I taste more white tea than I taste tangerine. But I like this over my black teeth that I have what I purchase this one again probably not I still stick to my I enjoy my fruit teas lol
Excellent for iced tea! Has a nice, tangerine flavor that isn't too strong but still noticeable.
This is a very nice and light tea with a crisp tangerine flavor. Perfectly refreshing and not overwhelming or synthetic in taste.
Love this one, has a wonderful tangerine taste, and a nice light white tea flavor. I've only had it hot, but I could see this being really refreshing as an iced tea in the summertime!
Outstanding white tea and tangerine combo. Very good hot 3 mins @ 185° or cold. Great for a few re-steeps too.
Great light flavor with light caffeine that I enjoyed tonight after dinner, was a bit too ight to enjoy on the daily but a nice change once in a while
Very floral aroma from the dry tea, light tangerine in the background. 3 min @ 165. The white tea is delicious and the tangerine is just a hint, easily lost. As it cooled I didn't get any tangerine, but I enjoy white tea and was happy with it. 4 ⭐ white tea, 3 ⭐ tangerine tea.
This was a nicely done tea. I would have liked a stronger tangerine flavor
This is a refreshing light tangerine white tea. It has a wonderful tangerine aroma . Great without sweetener but I prefer a bit of raw sugar.
This tea is light and the citrus flavors are strong in scent but the flavors are much softer once brewed. I did 3 mins at close to 180F on my submersible thermometer.
Lovely white tea with a light, slightly sweet citrus flavor
White tea with a slight tangerine flavor. I would have liked more flavor.
White teas in general are on the lighter side, but this one is a whisper of citrus flavor.
This tea has a delicate and refreshing taste, with a hint of citrus that is not overpowering. The white tea base is smooth and light, and the tangerine flavor adds a touch of sweetness and zest. The aroma is also very inviting, with a warm and fruity scent that makes me feel cozy and relaxed.
I'm always a fan of White teas mixed with fruit. The two tastes blend well together, and the citrus of this is delightful.
Nice tea but a little weaker tasting than I usually like. Nice citrus flavor!
Exactly what I needed something light and cheerful for this dreary day. The citrus flavors were not overly strong and accented the floral qualities in the white tea excellently.
When I opened my CommuniTEA packet, I was met with lovely citrus aromas. I steeped the tea for 3 minutes. This tea has a nice, surprisingly flavorful tangerine taste. Overall a good cup of tea!
I treated this white tea gentle as directed. I usually love citrus and white tea, but this combo is odd. The tangerine is very assertive but doesn't like citrus; more like the bitter pith than actual fruity goodness. Maybe it was this specific packet. I would prefer actual orange/lemon even lime flavor instead. I received this Tea previously and then experienced it again as part of the CommuniTEA (August box).
A lovely soft and dreamy tasting tea. The white tea base with its subtle floral notes and tangerine's gentle citrus flavor pair well together.
My CT packet had 2 grams/ 3 tea scoops of light and fluffy green colored white tea leaves. There were no orange pieces so I added two small dried orange peels. Brewed 10 oz. at 185*F for 3 min. The golden amber liquor had a tangy, soft citrus aroma. I enjoyed this tea best, sweetened. A sweetener add of agave teased out tangerine's friendly orangey flavor for a nice flavorful sip and a delectable ahh... moment. The flavor intensified slightly as the tea cooled. A smaller and more mellow resteep was tasty too. And chilled, this tea had a delightful, light and refreshing feel. White tea's light astringency nicely boosted the tender tangerine taste. Love this tea brewed hot or cold.
Every year I forget how much I enjoy this tea, and every year the CommuniTea sample reminds me! It's got the milder, sweeter citrus flavor of a tangerine, while still being plenty bright. Paired with the lightness of white tea, it's a treat when steeped hot and an absolute dream when it's iced.
A mild tea with just a bit of zing. A touch of cream makes this even better.
The flavor isn't knock me out strong but it is delicate citrus flavor and I would definitely buy this for myself, I think it would mix nicely with other teas.
Some orange flavor, but it is not overpowering/ artificial. Good for low caffeine mornings with breakfast
My favorite white tea. Very flavorful. Great as a night time tea
I love white teas, but I find that Adagio white teas are weak in flavor. The tangerine had a bold scent, but once brewed the tangerine flavor was light. I thought it would improve once it was iced, but no such luck. I do, however, use this tea to blend with, and find it fares better with other fruit teas.
This is a very delicate white tea. I've found that both white teas and tangerine require a slightly lower temperature to keep from becoming bitter and this was no exception.
The smell of this tea out of the packet had me excited to try this blend, but I was somewhat disappointed with how light the flavor was initially. However, the longer I let it sit and cool, the better it turned out. So enjoy this selection slowly perhaps while contemplating the universe. You'll be glad you did.
Communitea Review: This was a nice cup. The flavor wasn’t very strong but it was pleasant.
This was a good white tea but I wish it had more of the flavor to it. I had mine cold brewed so I don't know if this caused the flavor to get lost. The base white tea was very good so even though I couldn't taste any citrus I still enjoyed this tea.
Really nice light citrusy tea. It has just a note of tangerine without the bitterness of some citrus teas. It was even better after it cooled, so I think it would be a great iced tea.
A decent tea, very lightly flavored. It has a faint floral note.
White tea isn’t my go-to, but it’s such a nice base for fruit flavors. This is pleasant and light and citrus.
A white tea with a very light taste of a tangy, barest hint of sweetness orange.
So very light in color and in taste!
10 oz, 3 mins @ 180*F, divided. Sweetener in both portions, Cream in hot.
Hot
Tasted it w/o cream first and it really did not need the cream. It was a delicious sip. I just enjoy what cream does to hot tea, so it's been added (just the smallest splash) and it really allows the mandarin to shine. This is very good while hot. I'm looking forward to the chilled portion.
The cold portion was a bit of a let down as the Tangerine wasn't nearly as apparent as it was in the hot portion. It tasted like white tea. Nothing wrong with that, but when you're expecting orange, and you've already tasted it, its disappointing. Still gets 4 stars because it was 5 stars hot. and the white tea flavor wasn't bad, it was just missing the tangerine :/
Lovely wake up cup! I absolutely adore the white tea/tangerine combo. It tasted natural and not at all overly acidic. I was going to add honey but didn’t even bother. Putting this on my wish list. “Tangerine, tangerine. Living reflection of a dream.”
The orange/tangerine is definitely there. It isn't my favorite tea, but it isn't bad. I don't really care for it when hot. It tastes much better once it starts cooling.
I really wanted to like this one. I love tangerines and usually love citrus teas as well, but this one was a miss for me. It tasted too artificial.
Opening the packet released a nice tangerine fragrance and it tasted just as good as it smelled. I like the delicate white teas and the tangerine flavor was enough to taste but not overwhelming the tea itself. Good one!
The name holds up to the flavor. Bright tangerine scent. Felt that sugar is a must to lift the orangeiness. Good warm or cold.
For a white tea this is good. Tangerine is strong and there is a leafy/herbal taste from the tea. Not a bad way to start the day.
I'm not a big fan of white teas, but through CommuniTEA, I am being exposed to a variety of teas which is educating my pallet.
Today upon opening my packet of Adagio's WHITE TANGERINE, I was greeted by a lovely mild citrus aroma. As it steeped, it smelled like the grass my neighbour smokes at two in the morning, and I felt that perhaps I wouldn't like the taste of such a woody/grassy tea.
I let the tea steep for precisely 3 minutes, and when I tasted it, it tasted like a mild tea of everything I caught on the nose. Nice. As I placed my teacup on the counter, the aftertaste of tangerines came dancing across my tongue. That was a nice surprise.
I did not add anything to the tea as I was enjoying the balance between grassy and citrusy. Next time I try this blend, I will try it with sweetener. I think this tea would also make a nice cold beverage.
the scent of the dry leaves made me think it'd be like a mild green tea with tangerine peel in it. When brewed it had a really interesting scent, kind of peppery. The taste doesn't bear it out though, just kind of doesn't taste like much. even with a teaspoon of sweetener the tangerine wasn't really there, though more so as it cools. a weird sort of wet-leaves aftertaste. not for me.
July 19th 2023 ~ 5⭐️'s as a cold brew!! Absolutely love this refreshing White Tangerine as a cold-brew summertime libation. I enjoy it this way with no sweetening agent. The cold-brew produces a beautiful amber-y, orange color. Its just very crisp, with that fresh white tea vibe and a hint of Tangerine splashes in the background. Next brew, I will hot brew, then Ice..and add some Tangerines to the infusion, while cooling.

Light, White and Tangerine-y! The aroma is so Fffrrrreeeeesh!!! I enjoyed this in hot form, but will definitely enjoy ICED to get more of that magickal Tangerine flavor.
An excellent blend! It showcases a gentle, fresh tangerine flavor. White tea is a complementary base, providing structure and a light woodsy background flavor. No bitterness.
Preparation: First steep 3 min, second steep 6 min. Both @ 175 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.
Even at 185°F for 2 minutes, white teas, especially the flavored ones, always brew up a darker color than I expect, and this white tangerine is no exception. Still, on the clean-feeling white tea base, the light citrus flavor of this offering really stands out. Whether it actually tastes like a tangerine, though, I can’t say, as I’m not very familiar with the flavor of tangerines. It is, however, clearly citrus and leans more orange than lemon, with a subtle sweetness that’s enhanced with a touch of sweetener but not as brash as straight orange. The white tea also brings a bit of an herbaceous character to the cup that complements the citrus notes well. A second cup has a lighter citrus flavor but is still just as satisfying as the first. Though I sampled this CommuniTEA offering hot, I have no doubt this fruity white tea would be equally good iced as well.
