This kept popping up as a recommendation when I ordered Pi Lo Chun so I thought I'd give it a try. It was okay, but too subtle for my taste. I didn't get the honeydew or nectarine notes at all.
A delicate tea made from tea buds collected and withered prior to opening. It creates a pale yellow, light-bodied, yet complex cup with hints of honeydew and a faint floral sweetness.

Slightly more subtle than White Peony but the same flavors. Great substitute while that is not available.
This is light and delicious, and makes a great cup both hot and iced! I could even steep it multiple times, which helps defray cost!
This is a beautiful tea... it tastes like silver needle--smooth, light, and a little grassy--but is more complex. Richer, and a little sweeter. Fruitier on the second steeping. I actually like this more than silver needle, and for the price, I believe this is a tea I will be buying in large bags. This quickly became one of my everyday teas, especially for evenings.
I am fairly new to white teas. The only other white tea I have tried is silver needles which is good. However, it is hard for me to distinguish between the two. Like silver needles, this tea is more flavorful to me when it is iced or cold. Good stuff!
Not the best, but not the worst. A bit grassy for me
I am the type who likes strong teas, the type that scream with flavor. I wanted to try something a little different, thus I chose white tea. This is not a strong tea. This is a zen tea, very light and refreshing with no bitter aftertaste.
I don't drink a lot of white teas, but I have to say this one was pretty good.
It has a very subtle flavor that remains even after several resteepings.
Another great variety amongst the delicious white teas.
Comparable to Snowbud, with a stronger fruity taste. A little more bold but nonetheless a great tea.
SO, this is my first white tea, and it is so good
This is a very nice tea that has a light flavor. I use this with the UtiliTea pot and always get a perfect brew.
This is a very good, smooth white tea. Slight fruity fragrance. Yummy!
For me this tea would be tough to distinguish from white peony without a side by side comparison. As whites go, it is only a small step down from silver needle.
Delightful - delicate and slightly sweet, very relaxing. I reach for this when I'm stressed and need to calm down. it's very soothing.
I think I like this one even better than silver needle. It's not as tannic and has a smoother texture.
This is a really smooth, refreshing cup of tea. It's perfect for bedtime or early morning.
I love this white tea. Delicate yet full-flavored, White Symphony delivers a softly fruity sweetness intertwined with a chestnut background. The finish is clean and slightly dry--a definite palate cleanser! Try it. You will not regret it.
I like the sweet pleasant tea, and often mix it with other teas for flavor
I love most white teas... usually because I don't need a sweetener of any kind to enjoy them. This was no exception, as it has a great taste all on its own!
My favorite white tea that I've tried. I drink this all day long at work. I tend to let it steep longer for a bit more flavor. I enjoy it's slight sweetness. I've yet to compare it to White Peony though - maybe I should.
We love this delicate tea, in the morning, in the afternoon, on a weekend, before bed. It's the most popular tea in our house.
I've been really enjoying this white tea. It has a nice flavor that leaves my mouth clean. I tend to steep longer than package says, up to 5-6 minutes.
Probably a very good tea for what it's trying to achieve. Not wimpy, that's for sure. It's just not something I'd drink regulary... too vegetable-brothy for me.
The greatest white tea I will have ever tasted came from a tea shop in Singapore, but because of the cost (and my lack of that kind of income) I can no longer indulge. This tea is not superior but it is very good in it's own right, especially for the price!!
After trying simple white peony I had to try this variant and I wasn't dissatisfied at all. It was a very good and had just the right amount of natural flavors. Adding a bit of sugar definitely helped out this tea, but didn't necessarily require it.
I tried the sample size of this tea and made one cup of hot tea, and then used the rest to make a pitcher of iced tea. The hot tea was good, but the iced tea was really great. The flavor is very mild and delicate, but the tea feels very full-bodied, which is an interesting juxtaposition. I put just a bit of honey in the iced tea, and it had a very refreshing and delicate flavor. Would be fantastic in the summer.
this has the same floral and slightly sweet aroma as the silver needle, but a much more pronounced floral taste on top of the sweetness.
Pretty good. I much prefer white peony over this, though.
Loved this. It's a great white tea, better than the similar green pekoe Adagio sells.
Very light flavor, reminds me of silver needle with a splash of greenish flowery oolong.
A perfect tea to enjoy a sophisticated morning with a great magazine and classical music.
This was my first experience with a white tea. I'm still mulling it over, but the tea was indeed different, and I think for the better. Definitely left a fruity note on the palate.
This is a very pleasant tea. It's very subtle, both light and smooth. I'm picking up a hint of agave in the flavor. So relaxing
A very nice, light tea that was slightly floral while still having a clear taste to it.
Really nice! Not too woody, or smokey, and not overly dry- just really nicely balanced. Highly drinkable- you'll be at the bottom of your cup before you know it!
Good tea to drink throughout the day---light taste.
Nice delicate flavor, not bitter or astringent with a hint of grassiness. I actually prefer white peony due to its strength (and price) but still nice.
Light and delicate, but still plenty of flavor. Very good for a relaxing evening.
This is a wonderful light tea that requires no additives.
Light and sweet: this tea is delicious! I am not a big white tea guy and I love it.
I'm a little pickier when it comes to white teas but this one impresses me everytime I make a cup. It is sweet and smooth at the same time with no bitter astringency. I believe this will become my everyday white tea!
This a very good every day alternative the my silver needle.
Alas, this symphony fell flat. I had high hopes for this tea after reading the description and reviews, but it was far grassier than I expected, tasting somewhat lamely like a brew made from a handful of lawn clippings.
Great aroma and smooth to drink. This one feels a little more unique to me.
A good tasting white tea that i personally like a lot. It is best brewed for 4 minutes.
Surprisingly strong and flavorful for a white tea.
I got this tea in a sampler and fell in love after. Its a very subtle tea and I find that it has a slight sweetness to it and a melon like taste.
I'm not such a big fan of this one. The taste is a bit too sweet for me.
White symphony has a light golden color and is slightly sweet with a mellow earthy taste and aroma. A little too weak for my tastes and not good for multiple infusions in my opinion.
