I was excited to try this one - I’ve really been enjoying white tea blends lately - until I opened the packet and smelled it. Oof! Maybe it’s the freeze-dried strawberries? It smelled artificial and weird. But it brewed up into a lovely cup that I would happily drink again and again. Quite the roller coaster tea tasting! But this one is going on the wish list.

2023 update: I upped this from 4 to 5 stars. What can I say, I have grown to love it! (OLD REVIEW: This is a very good white tea; although the strawberry flavor is definitely in the background. I would not turn down a cup if offered but am more likely to order blueberry white instead. Regardless, if you enjoy strawberry without it knocking your socks off, this is a very good choice.)

Such a nice, flirty sweetness. I had this on ice, and the fruit was very subtle. Didn’t need any sweetener!

Very crisp berry flavor. The tea smells amazing upon opening the bag. There are alot of beautiful colors the tea itself is very pretty. It's light kinda floral and very refreshing. The strawberry flavor lingers on your tounge. Very yummy.

I think I got this as a freebie last year. I saw this and even after drinking a few cups of it I'm not sure it was the same tea. ha! But it's an ok light flavored tea. I don't think I would repurchase this one.

Delightful tea, especially iced (mix with the watermelon cooler). Great on a warm day!. Will definitely buy again!

I'm not sure if I'm really liking Adagio's flavored white teas. This is the 2nd one I've tried and again unfortunately I don't taste any other flavor besides the white tea base. I don't taste apple, blueberry, or strawberry at all. I do get a hint of the vanilla flavor which is nice. I'm still giving this 4 stars because I love the taste of white tea but I think when it comes to getting fruit flavored teas I'll stick with herbal and black

Very good morning tea to start your day! Good flavor not too light not too strong. Flavor gets better as it cools a bit

The smell is excellent, but the flavor is lacking. It's not bad, but the fruit and flower notes cover up the white tea flavors without being strong enough on their own. I'll finish my order, but not order again.

I like the subtleties of white teas. The strawberry flavor is a nice addition and they add just enough sweetness
★★★☆☆
This tea for me lacked strawberry flavor. The overpowering taste that I got was the vanilla with occasional hints of the strawberry.

The strawberry punches through here and I like that. I will re-order this but probably not until late spring. This is more of a spring/summer tea for me.

This white tea packs a punch of strawberry and was quite sweet with the vanilla. I ordered to try a cold brew. Really delicious if you are a strawberry lover.

What a nice light tea, full of strawberry smells and fruity flavor. It went down very easy. Might have to stock up on it in the summer.

I decided to cold brew this one after reading some comments from others. It’s a delightful, light, iced tea with great strawberry flavor. I highly recommend that you give this one a try.

A lovely morning treat. I normally think white tea is lacking in punchy flavor and is especially underwhelming when it comes to fruit, but this proved my assumptions wrong. The strawberry flavor was very natural and delicate, not cloying or syrupy. There was a hint of cream or coconut smoothness to this one as well. No sweetener needed, this was like a breakfast parfait in liquid form, but a bit of honey or milk might have elevated it.

Enjoyed the aroma as soon as I opened the packet. Once brewed, disappointed that I could also smell apple (not a big fan of apple & Adagio seems to include it in many of their fruit based teas). Despite the apple essence, the taste is appealing; subtle and on the sweet side. No agave necessary. I anticipate purchasing this in the future for both hot and iced teas.

Bold strawberry and vanilla flavors are pleasantly bright throughout this sip. However, the rooibos covers up the sweet lightness that white tea usually provides. I would far prefer a rooibos-free blend, but the strawberry flavor is perfect!

I was pretty surprised by this tea. Usually, I have difficulty with white teas as I find them to be mild in flavor. I have learned to cold brew them and they are far more flavorful. This tea has a lot more going on beside strawberry flavored white tea. The aroma from the packet was bold with strawberries and vanilla. Cold brewed and enjoyed this iced, I still mostly taste strawberry and vanilla. The other ingredients were there and blended nicely with the strawberry. If this was summer, I would order more and make a pitcher of iced tea.

The creaminess of the tea is very pleasant. The strawberry is a very delicate flavor. A very enjoyable tea. I am not a fan or rose petals so I am very happy that I could not taste them

A very pretty tea! Green tea with colorful fruit and flower bits. Nice light strawberry taste with a sweet fruity and herbal scent.
11/27/2022 - Still feel this is a very nice tea, but a bit lighter taste than I usually go for. So I added just a bit of Wild Strawberry herbal to kick it up a notch. Delicious!

I am not usually a fan of white tea so I was not expecting to like this tea as much as I did. i brewed it at 180 for three minutes and added a tad of Black Locust honey. To me it tasted like a warm version of strawberry soft serve.

A lightly fruity blend, emphasis on the lightly. The strawberry was a background note, and the roiboos was barely detectable with only a faint woodsy-ness at the end of the cup. The vanilla was a little stronger, but middle-ground so, along with the faint floral of the rose petals. Couldn't pick up on any blueberries, unfortunately. I think this would be better cold instead of hot.

November 27th, 2022 CommuniTea. I was excited when I saw the packet today because I love white teas and I love strawberries! Upon opening it smelled of strawberry and vanilla - my husband (not a tea person) commented it smelled like strawberry shortcake. I let it steep a little long due to being distracted with lunch, but it still turned out lovely. Wonderful cup of tea!

This is a nice light tea with some refreshing fruity flavor. The melon was actually stronger than the strawberry flavor, which was better than I was expecting it to be. Definitely a tea that I think is better cold than warm though!

CommuniTEA portion:. 180 for 3 minutes. The aroma upon opening this packet was amazing. Strawberries and cream - lovely on the nose! Strawberries and blueberries remained prominent notes upon steeping with a bit of creme. Thankfully (for me) the hibiscus stayed in the background. The berry was even stronger as it cooled. Lovely low caffeine tea. I can see this being a cold steep staple.

So I made the mistake of hot brewing which causes the strawberry to be overbearing. Cold brew would have been much better and in the future will be my brew choice with this tea.

In the bag: A riot of textures and colors. The green-to-tan leaves of white tea form the bulk. A few big apple pieces bring pale yellow. Two big dried blueberries. A few scattered rose petals and cornflowers.
On the nose (pre-steep): Strawberries and cream. A hint of blueberry. Sweet. Medium intensity. Somewhat cloying, but pleasantly so.
On the nose (post-steep): Strawberry and cream are still the primary flavors, but a herbaceous note has joined us. Could be the hibiscus or white tea - it's hard to place.
On the tongue (pre-sweetener): That herbaceous, somewhat grassy note has taken center stage. I taste strawberry and blueberry as supporting flavors. A hint of bitterness.
On the tongue (post-sweetener): A tiny amount of sweetener didn't change the flavor profile, but helped cancel out the astringency.
Opinion: A decent tea, though not particularly exciting. It's complex and subtle, I'll give you that. But the taste is dominated by a grassy note I don't quite care for.
Preparation: 3 min @ 175 ℉, ¼ tsp monk fruit sweetener

UPDATED from 3/13/21: There is the smell of sweet strawberry tickling my nose as the CommuniTEA packet opens. How lovely the ingredients of this blend look, especially the blue cornflowers. Everything is ready to create a fruity tea, and they steep into a rusty red/orange color. Flavor is very fruity, but not as sweet as an actual strawberry, so I add ¼ teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz). Wow that really brings out the sweeter strawberry better! This is so much fun to drink. The white and rooibos provide a great base. The ingredients work so well together to create a fruity tea with a smooth mouthfeel and creamy finish. Sadly this only steeps well once. (3 mins @ 180ºF + sweetener).

I like to cold brew this one, it really allows the vanilla to come out, while the strawberry is just a little bit tart so that you’re not bored. It’s also a very pretty tea, with rose petals giving it some color.

Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! This is a wonderful tea! It has a slight tart taste, but not too tart like most strawberry teas I have tried. Then came the vanilla making this the most wonderful escape from whatever is going on around you. The first time I tried this I was in the middle of teaching and needed to freshen my throat so I could continue to teach. After the first sip I had to stop and take a moment! lol! It is that good! I serve this one to people that are new to quality tea or the idea of having tea is new. I have received lots of positive feedback. Hands down this is a tea that most people will love. I followed the instructions exactly the first time and the second time I did a cold steep overnight. Both times I was very happy with the results. I drank this iced.
