I have wanted a very pure strawberry flavored white tea for quite some times. This one certainly delivers. Don't expect to be punched in the face with strawberry flavor, though. Like all good white teas, this is balanced and subtle. The strawberry peeks through like spring's first flower bud. The lovely flavor is rounded out and kept from being too tart with just a whisper of vanilla. I think I will order a larger size when my sample runs out. This tea is just perfect for spring, and I imagine it will be amazing iced.

I had always hoped that Adagio would release a white strawberry blend, and now they have! And it's such a fragrant, rich, and complex blend that it exceeded my expectations. When I opened the bag, I was reminded of smelling strawberry shortcake with whipped cream, which set my mouth watering. When brewed up, the tea is a little less sweet, but still delicious. The strawberry comes out the strongest, of course, but the apple pieces heighten its taste and bring out the sweetness all the stronger. The vanilla is there, but subtly, lurking in the background to bring out the creamy quality of this tea. The rose petals are even more subtle and tend to just smooth the blend over, giving it a very, very light floral hint and keeping all the sweetness from being too cloying or overpowering. (Though this would be lovely blended with more rose petals and with vanilla chai!) This is a tea that is great for blending and for drinking on its own.
AMAZING! OMG, this is so good! Strawberry with cream notes and white tea. Come on, how could you go wrong? Please keep this Adagio!
