i was surprised by their massive size. it was fun watching the ball unfurl into a soothing tea
These lovely pearls are made from white peony leaves that are hand-shaped. Once steeped, the cup reveals classic white peony notes of melon and cucumber, a little mineral flintiness and just a hint of honey.

I m really into white teas lately and these beautiful white pearls are the perfect addition to my tea collection. Nice and light and subtly sweet. Will definitely be buying this tea again.
Delicately floral and fruity, and lovely to watch as the pearl opens up slightly to form a pastel ball. A nice tea at any time of day, and the pearl feature makes it a ltreat to watch.
I'll admit, I'd probably rate this one a little lower if it wasn't so fun to watch it brewing! I was very surprised at how large the pearls are, and I wouldn't be surprised to get at least 2 or 3 cups out of one pearl. However, the flavor was very light, and there was not much depth to the flavor like you get with other white teas. I think this tea would be great to get for traveling, but I don't think I'll make it an everyday tea.
I wasn t sure when I first took a sip of this tea but after trying it a few times it is quite good and I really enjoy it. Its got a light slightly sweet flavor and is very easy to drink without any sweetener.
These are pretty good, you could probably use them a couple of times, but I've used two in a Brewville basket and it tastes great.
I could drink this daily. Wonderful tea, crisp and clean.
I love these pearls so much. I was able to resteep so one pearl made about 3 large mugs of tea. This is probably my new go-to tea. The flavor is full, but also light. Definitely recommend.
The pearls are fantastically large...makes several cups with a single pearl.
A softer, lighter tea, when you want to have a warm cup before bedtime (less caffeine too). Very smooth with a light floral and fruit low note; a very enjoyable cup.
It tastes like unsweetened tea from anywhere. Nothing special but not terrible.
would recommend this tea to every tea drinker and tea enthusiast
I never expected to love this tea so much. Nice flavor and steeps beautifully more than once. Will purchase again.
Smooth and subtle flavor. I don t think I will buy again.
Added these pearls to some of my flavored white teas. Whites and greens are not my very favorites alone, so I have not ventured out to use them alone yet, I may have to flavor them with some flavored stevia to appreciate their flavor all alone. I will update if I end up using it alone!
This is one of my favorites. Subtle but intricate flavors. Be careful not to over steep to avoid disappointment
My favorite tea. To me it is just a great tea. Also, no measuring required. If you like a tea that has great flavor and no 'Bite' this is it. This is my go to tea. I usually get two cups out of one pearl. Sometimes three. I also like this tea as gifts for my tea drinking friends to switch them over from Tea Bags.
Slightly floral with hints of sweetness. I was skeptical with these, but I am very pleased. I was also able to get multiple steepings out of them.
Nice mild tea. Crisp, refreshing flavor to it. Also easy since 1 pearl per cup.
These white tea pearls didn't have as much flavor as I'd hoped.
Tastes amazing and its fun to watch the pearl open up
i like this tea but it is not anything special. i am unsure if this would be considered a prime white tea. i known the flavor of white tea is subtle, but i got very little after multiple steeps. granted i used half a ball, but that should have been enough for 1 cup. at most i detected a lite smokey flavor, like from sweet bbq smoke chips or sweet hay if that makes sense. i steeped 3 min at 190 added a bit of sugar and didn't get much. i then put the tea back in and let it sit another 2min. it was only then that i got any sense of flavor. i could be doing something wrong but its nice and maybe i will revisit again later
Good for what it is. Perhaps I am doing it wrong. I tend to expect more flavor from these pearls than what they give.
I’m not used to white teas. This was my first. Not sure what I expected but this was not it. It tasted weak and boring.
I couldn't get my coffee machine (to remain nameless) to go down to 180°, so I made up for it by sticking to the low end of the brew time range. I was rewarded with the clean, pure, essence of what tea should be. Second brew was a bit darker. Third brew started turning bitter, so keep it down to 2 brews IMHO.
I loved the concept of the ball (easy to measure), but I can't give it a full five stars as I did not enjoy this tea as much as other whites I've experienced. A little dark for my tastes.
Great flavor, but you need to steep longer than 5 minutes to unfurl the leaves because the pearls are quite large. Unless you break them apart by hand, then 5 minutes are OK. I use 2 pearls for a double size cup.
good stuff!
I really like this tea, will be my go to white tea. Strange as it sounds (I feel like a snob) but I taste notes of honey when I brew. Solid tea with a bold (for a white tea) flavour.
It mixes well with other teas, but has a nice gentle tang all on it's own too.
Super favorite due to its strong flavor even with multiple steeps
I wasn't sure how this tea was going to be, but I really enjoyed the flavor. This will be a staple in the collection.
this is a very good earthy white tea. you can get multiple steepings out of it
Very good, smooth white tea. The pearls open and develop very nicely to make a beautifully smooth and fragrant white tea that can be sipped and enjoyed over a good book, or just while watching some Netflix on your comfortable couch nuzzled into your pet, loved one, or blanket.
I did not like this tea. I steeped it for five minutes because the pearl had not opened all the way at the three minute mark. The first steep had a very strong taste of apricot. The second steep was not as strong, but still had too much of the apricot taste for me. I was surprised at how strong it was for a white tea.
Very mild white tea. Fair disclaimer, I'm not a huge fan of white tea, so I am giving my review unbias based off my understanding of a white tea. It's smooth and good with some honey. Over all, not strong enough for me to re-order.
This tea is incredibly light. No flavors jump out or overwhelm your taste buds- Just a very clean taste. While Whites always tend to be lighter in my book, this is probably the lightest. I best enjoyed it after a meal.
Amazing! Just add some white peach tea to it and it tastes just like a blooming tea!
I really enjoyed the pearls. Their flavor is pretty subtle, and I always de-caffeinate my teas first, even white tea. I added White Symphony Tea to a white pearl, and it gave it the strength that I desired. I also broke up the pearl before steeping to get the caffeine out.
The pearl variety is really convenient and the flavor is wonderful.
Such a pleasant surprise! I bought this tea for the esoteric value of watching the tea balls open up, but it quickly became my favorite tea. A complex flavor, and I usually take the time to refill my cup with hot water for a second round.
These were pretty good. I had to find a cup large enough to use them effectively, but it was a nice light tea.
I didn't enjoy this as much. Just not strong enough flavor for me.
Oh my goodness this tea. This tea is amazing. I'm a student who lives about an hour away from her school, so I pop one of these in my travel tumbler in the morning, and when I get to school it's just cool enough for me to start nursing. By the time my lunch comes around, it's empty, so I can fill my cup with hot water again and have a second cup all day until I get home. This is honestly the best tea investment I have ever made in my life. I let it steep all day and it never gets bitter or nasty and I can get two, sometimes three cups out of it. If I could give it a higher rating I would! Also, the sample size is a legit bag of the pearls. Get the sample.
very good. i am not huge on white tea(yet) but this was very tasty. flinty, minerally, a bit of melon and cucumber. next time I will try it iced.
I like the pearls because they are easier than scooping. Taste is nice and light.
These had a very mellow flavor, slightly nutty but fresh (I definitely tasted the cucumber notes). Also the pearl shape made it very easy to use. Popped one in a thermos and just kept refilling it all day!
This is one of my favorite teas. Very fragrant. A 'stronger' white tea.
My favorite.
I am enjoying the new white pearls. Great and simple way to make two cups at a time!
Put this tea in one of the beautiful adagio glass mugs and watch it grow into a mass of gorgeous tea leaves. I love it.
