I wish the pearls 'bloomed' like other pearl teas, but the flavor of the teas are good. I steep these in my regular teapot instead of my glass teapot which is for blooming teas.
These lovely pearls are made from white peony leaves that are hand-shaped. Once steeped, the cup reveals classic white peony notes of melon and cucumber, a little mineral flintiness and just a hint of honey.

very light mellow tea with no bitterness and is good as an Afternoon pick me up, or a tea to serve at dinner.
So beautiful! I learned the hard way to make a POT of tea instead of a MUG as the pearls grow an astonishing amount. Oh, and the tea tastes fabulous as well and holds up to a re-steep.
Solid cup of white tea, but not quite as sublime as the Black Dragon Pearls, which was the tea that led me to buying samples of all the pearl style tea. The second cup, done at twice the steep time of the first was just as good as the first though. Inferior teas weaken a little on the second steep, this one does just as well on the second steep.
Very subtle flavor, which is probably what it is supposed to be. Too bland for my palate.
I generally brew white teas very quickly, about 1 minute, but this was still light and not bitter at 4 minutes. It's now my favourite white tea. The large pearl means I can get a couple of cups from one pearl.
It's good but a little on the strong side...almost like drinking black tea, but do enjoy it.
Not as good as black dragon pearls, but still delicious.
Lovely Pearl! Really enjoyed drinking this tea. It's sweet, light, and was fun to watch open up. Will be sure to put this in my rotation of tea to take on the road or commute if I'm looking for something light and floral, would be lovely in the spring.
Really good quality. Nice product. We are very happy
Very flavorful for a white tea base. Plenty of nuance to keep you interested for multiple infusions.
This is a soft well rounded cup of tea. I enjoy it in the evening.
Thoroughly enjoyable. Very light and perfect for 2 or 3 brews.
These pearls are a large size, one is enough for a full mug. The aroma is the same as the loose white peony, sugared melon with light floral notes. The taste is quite similar with a juicy mouthfeel and cucumber melon flavor, light and delicate. However there is a bit of an odd underlying flavor that I don't get with the loose leaves, almost sour which makes me think I may have gotten a slightly off batch. It's not unpleasant to drink, it just doesn't have the natural sweetness that I'm used to from the loose White Peony. I do like the convenience of the pearls and would purchase another sample bag to see if it is any better, but right now I prefer the loose leaf.
Very pleased with this tea. Just what I like in a white tea and blends well with lemongrass. This opens up to be a lot of tea leaves and is good for multiple steeps.
This is my second favorite tea in the morning. It’s light and calming.
Much like the bagged loose version, but easier to measure. I didn't know these pearls were so large!
Light white tea flavor, nice aroma, clean finish, I liked it
I'm a sucker for a pearl tea and this one doesn't disappoint. As long as I don't oversteep it is delightful. After forgetting about it for an hour it did eventually turn bitter but that's on me.
A lovely, simple, and delicately flavored white tea
This is a pretty good tea. I’ve found that I’m not a huge fan of unflavored white tea because the flavor is very subtle but this is certainly one of the better ones I’ve tried. I would prefer for the pearls to be smaller so there’s more options fir portions
These are fun! The white tea is lacks much substance, but the one note is at least a pretty good one!
The white tea flavor of this tea is mild and very enjoyable.
Sweet and subtle. This is definitely my style. I love how I can resteep this all day. A favorite.
Delicious, smooth flavor. Good for an after lunch tea.
Lovely and delicate! Just the right tea for something subtle.
Didn't like this tea. Didn't give me the flavor or mildness I crave.
Nice and sweet simple flavor. Nice to see pearls unravel while brewing
I enjoyed the white pearls. I felt it was a nice mellow taste.
Lovely, with a really wonderful light flavor but a surprising amount of body.
One pearl = about 2 brews for me, but if you prefer a stronger flavor you may want to steep it longer or reduce the amount of water.
Love how these white pearls unfurl when water meets pearl. Very good tasting light tea.
Something in here is making me think apricot and I rather like it.
I loved that I didn't have to measure, just drop in a pearl.
The white pearls seem stronger in flavor and finish than the black pearls for sure. It takes one pearl in 16 oz. of water and the whole cup is strong. Let it steep longer than it should, and the flavor gets strong. This white tea has more body and gets rid of the whole white tea is “gentle and delicate With less caffeine ” concept. It’s a Great cup.
This a mild tea, not much flavor profile. I would try to brew this on 205 to see if it gives more flavor. Not astringent either.
I thought these were the ones that blossomed into flowers in hot water. They are however a nice, light tea
This tea was really great. I purchased a sample pack and was not disappointed I purchased it. I will be purchasing more.
A different tea for me but enjoyable. The cucumber melon is not a favorite of mine but still great for summer for those who do like it
I adore these delightful little pearls. They are so gently sweet and pleasant. I will absolutely put these on my list to order again!
very nice mellow tea
floral notes not overwhelming or artificial tasting.
I very much enjoy it. just plain no sweetener needed
A little more flavor is needed for my taste. But it is smooth and makes more than just your single pot. But I prefer white teas
I'm always hesitant to try pearl teas, as I've had bad experiences with them. However, this one was pretty enjoyable. It was a very strong white tea flavor, which I love because I like teas on the stronger side and I always double the recommended amount for white teas, as they are normally pretty light. I have no complaints about this teas flavor, but will probably not purchase again due to the price. White peony is a much more inexpensive option for white tea drinkers that prefer a heavier flavor presence.
Very good taste. Floral and fruity notes. Subtle taste but can be left to seep a little longer than normal.
Brewed Gong Fu Style and flavor unfolded with each infusion
While this is not my favorite white standalone tea, it was very interesting. However, I think I may have steeped it too long, and too high of a temperature. I will be trying it again, and maybe adding a flavor to it.
They are not as bold in flavor as I would’ve liked but after steaming it much longer I do like it better
We love the pearls, so easy to use. The tea aroma is soothing and the taste equally so. Great tea for making a relaxed mood with a busy schedule
Delicious! The flavor of these pearls is outstanding; robust and unique. Anyone who enjoys white tea will definitely enjoy this tea.
Interesting presentation, but flavor is nothing out of the ordinary, but not bad either.
I really enjoyed these white pearls. They are a large size- like the size of a quarter round. I recommend this tea.
