These pearls are the 'easy to travel' version of white peony tea. You only need 1 pearl for a small pot or large mug of tea. This tea has very delicate, slightly fruity and floral flavors. It holds up well for several steepings. If you don't like the grassiness of green teas, give this one a try! It's delicious!

While not _quite_ as good as the white squares (cookies), these are still good.

I'm a bit disappointed with these 'pearls'. They're the size of a cherry tomato rather than a pearl. I was expecting something the size of the black dragon pearls or the jasmine phoenix pearls, but these are excessively large and don't unfurl much during steeping. It's also impossible to select a smaller portion as with other pearls.

This tea is light, refreshing, and high quality with beautiful flavor notes. It's perfect for a full moon. If you like a stronger tea flavor, let it oversteep a little bit.
★★★★★
Decent tea but definitely larger than I expected! I prefer smaller pearls.

Oh, this was delicious and is near the top of my faves list. I brought some on a weekend trip with a friend and she raved about this tea! I just repurchased and added an extra gift for my friend. Flavor is smooth, light and slightly sweet. A perfect tea for any time of day or evening. Update: Adagio has been out of this tea all summer and I'm waiting impatiently for its return.

Es un te que recomiendo mas para múltiples infusiones es necesario darle tiempo y varias rondas de agua para que las notas terrosas y el cuerpo suave se desarrolle correctamente

These can be re-brewed 2-3 times with strong flavor, then another 1-2 times if you really want to push it (but it still tastes good). Being packed together means it can take a few brewings. Lovely floral taste. You might also like White Symphony if you like this. Apparently Peony is the ingredient, about to try that tea too.

This tea has a very mild flavor, but is sweet and light, so it makes for a very enjoyable cup to drink.

Unexpectedly large pearls were full of huge tea leaves. A smooth, light tea with a hint of full-bodied sweetness that I don't necessarily expect in a white tea.

This was probably my second favorite of a bunch of white teas I tried from Adagio ...the straight white peony is still my favorite, but I do really like these as well.

I can't wait to try this tea. I will update my review after I have tried it.

This is another one that I really like. I was too sure that I would not like but it totally surprised me.
★★★★★
Dry smell, you get apricots. Quick rinse, wet pearl - more deeper stone fruit. What’s lovely about the pearl, is you get many steeping. Each session a different flavor profile. Explore, enjoy.

Love this one. Can be steeped about 2 times. so yummy.

this is one mighty fine cup of white tea, and its pre-measured for you! if its not as good as silver needle tea it is a close second.

These pearls are about the size of a round grape and make a lot of tea.

I had White Pearls hot with a little tupelo honey. For a typical 12-15 ounce mug, you just need 1 pearl. This is a pretty plain tea, but it's very nice and light. For me, it gave me a little pick-me-up during a busy day. I would highly recommend this tea!

A great white tea. It is wonderful hot or iced.

Excellent flavor and large enough to brew several cups from one pearl.

This doesn't really taste like a white tea to me, it's got more of an oolong vibe to it. A bit earthy, slightly floral, and a bit bitter. I really like white tea, but this one doesn't do it for me.

This tea was confusing. It was a little flavorless but still had a heavier taste than a normal white tea
★★★★☆
Really enjoyed sipping this one and it was fun to see the pearls expand and release their inner juiciness. If you steep it heavy, this one has much more substance to it than many other white teas and it is very enjoyable to get the deeper notes than you typically get with a white. If favorite steeps were the later ones as the pearl opened up.

What a delicate beautiful experience. Tea as a ritual that rewards you with the unrolling of leaves in your cup.

Not my favorite, it’s a “me not you” thing! I just don’t like the flavor.

As far as taste, I'd give these pearls 5 stars. However, the size is too 'generous' for me since I prefer an 8 ounce cup of tea. Adagio says these pearls weigh about 4g but the pearl I pulled out of the package weighed in at 6g! Big difference. Since the pearls are made of white peony tea, I weighed 1 heaping teaspoon of loose white peony (the serving size Adagio recommends) which equaled barely 2g which is how I arrived at the conclusion that one pearl equals 24 ounces of tea. The White Squares tea are much easier to divvy so they win the white tea convenience award and are likewise tasty.

I most have had a “senior” moment when I ordered this tea because I thought I was getting a Jasmine Pearl but am I ever happy I received this white pearl tea. The mild spring fruity flavor lasted all day without any astringency. This tea is a definite winner for me and I will be ordering it again, and again. I drank the tea at 195 degrees in a tea traveler (Grandpa style) throughout a whole day. @adagioteas

Super light and smooth. Very good tea and well priced. I would have no issue drinking this regularly.

I love the ease of brewing with these pearls. White peony is a very delicate and flavorful white tea. I accidentally over steeped this one (oops!), but that's okay because the flavor was very rich and not astringent at all. I know it says low caffeine, but I still got a great boost of energy from it. Very delicious!

A single pearl makes many pots of tea if you resteep. As for the taste, there's a back of the throat sweetness, and a sort of 'fresh bread' taste to it, like that feeling of biting into a roll fresh out of the oven.

This is actually four and a half stars. The only complaint I have of this is the pearl is so tightly packed with leaves to where I spooned out what was left of the pearl and placed it on the lid of my double walled infuser. I cannot recommend using it in the Toasteas because of how hollow the diffuser is. On the other hand, this is white tea which can give you more steepings than other teas. I plan to place what is left of the pearl back into the diffuser. That is all I have to say about the shape of the pearl. As for taste, this would be a five star on taste alone. It's fresh and clean tasting. Drinkers who like to drink traditional white tea should consider this one.

Nice mild smell in the package. I am going to give this tea an OK as these pearls are so large and tightly compacted that they never completely unfurl to expose the leaves to the hot water. Makes a very diluted tasting tea.

A lovely and delicate tea. I would give five stars if it came with more pearls or if they were smaller. I find the size to be wasteful if you are only making a pot for one.
