This was not very memorable. It's an okay tea if you don't have anything on hand that you like better.
White tea from Fujian, China infused with the flavor of ripe pears. A wonderfully smooth and subtle treat.

This was not very memorable. It's an okay tea if you don't have anything on hand that you like better.
I am not a huge l often find tea too bitter, or not flavorful enough. But White Pear tastes great. I can drink it with meals and on it's own. The flavor is refreshing but not overpowering.
It's not my favorite white tea by any stretch but that doesn't mean I find it undrinkable. My favorite white teas tend to be lighter and less full than this one but someone looking for a more flavorful white tea need look no further.
Soft, subtle flavor, great tea for a mid afternoon cup.
The bright, crisp and sweet flavor of the pear is normally subtle and easy to overpower, but it absolutely shines with this white tea. The white tea is smooth and very gently bright and bitter, like cucumber, and neither element overwhelms the other.
This tea is very nice; it’s smooth and light tasting but I never got any pear flavor from it. I’d get it again but just for a plain white tea.
Delicate pear flavor, very pleasant white tea. Best lightly sweetened.
If they could bottle up the scent in the tea packet and sell it as an air freshener, they should! (I'd say use the tea in a satchel, but that's wasting tasty tea!) I loved this one. White teas are delicate by nature. The apple/pear flavor is very faint, but it's there. Smooth and gentle, a perfect white tea, with just a bit of flavor to keep it interesting.
White tea is a great base tea for the delicate pear flavors. The flavors do a nice job cooperating and complimenting each other. I like to cold brew this one. It is refreshing, juicy, crisp and makes a wonderful afternoon pick me up. I use one heaping teaspoon to 6oz of water for cold brewing this one. Cheers!
This tea is good, with light pear taste.(180 @ 3 min.) I put little sugar in it.
Today's CommuniTea packet was white pear, which is made of white tea, apple pieces and pear flavor. I generally like Adagio's white tea and this was no exception, but I didn't necessarily taste a lot of pear when brewed. But it was still a nice white tea. Brewed in 12 ounces of 180 degree water for three minutes.
White pear is good. I mean i don't know how to stretch that really into 50 characters beside well. It gud.
I previously tasted this tea and couldn't taste any pear. I don't know if more pear was added or I got a better mix of ingredients, but this time I tasted a strong pear flavor. I'm not a fan of white tea, so I wouldn't buy this for myself, but I think a white tea lover would enjoy this.
I steeped this tea for 2 minutes at 180F.
White teas are so delicate and nice! This one definitely tastes like pears of course!
Nice blend. The pear flavour comes through without overwhelming the white tea.
CommuniTEA packet tasting, delicate white tea with a subtle hint of crisp pear. This would be delicious iced in spring and summer. Happy sipping!
While CommuniTea has helped me develop a love of green teas, it really hasn't moved the needle on white teas which I continue to feel meh about. I struggled to taste the pear flavoring and found this tea to be rather flavorless.
I enjoyed this tea, light, flavorful and fragrant.
Very light and delicate, perfect for ending a busy day!
This mild white tea smells just like fresh pears , and something mildly floral that I just can't put my finger on. The flavor is more mild than I expected, but a small amount of sweetener does enhance the juicy pear flavor! A nice soft cup perfect for a fall afternoon!
This is a very good light flavored white tea, the pear kinda just is faintly there but in a good way. White teas doesn't really do it for me as, I like super strong flavors, but I enjoy this one every now and again.
Lovely white tea scented and flavored with pears. I steeped a heaping teaspoon in 6 oz of water at 175°F x 3 minutes. The tea is light in color and flavor, which is typical of delicate white teas. The subtle hint of pear needs no sweetener to coax it forward. A 'pear-fect' white tea for sipping hot. Would also be refreshing iced.
I love the taste of pear, though I can't stand the actual fruit. This is a great way to enjoy it without any of the weird graininess the fruit itself has! Some white teas are quite weak, but I steeped this one at a lower temperature and a little longer than usual (by accident) and was rewarded with a delicious, fruity cup.
Oct 13, 2021 Review: I tasted the pear this time. I brewed at a lower temp this time and the flavor came through better.
Oct 12, 2020 Review: A lovely delicate white tea. The flavor was great, but I didn't taste any pear.
Really enjoyed this one. The pairing of white tea with fruits is almost always a hit in my books, and this was no different. It was light and refreshing, the pear wasn't too sweet or overbearing. I had this hot, but I imagine it would be just as tasty iced.
This is my favorite of all of Adagio's white teas! The smell and taste of pear is strong but not sickly sweet. I enjoy drinking this tea both hot and cold as a nice refreshing treat.
What a lovely light refreshing tea. Pear flavor was perfect. Added a little sweetener and added to my next auto-ship.
I cold-steeped this tea overnight with two pieces of rock sugar and drank it chilled. When opening the packet, pear and apple scents practically knocked me over. Very fresh and fruity. The brewed tea has a similar scent, though slightly more candy-like. The flavor is light, fresh, fruity, and refreshing. I really think cold-brewing is the way to go with this tea.
Really enjoyed this tea.only in a delicate white tea can you appreciate the flavor of the pear. This is such a smooth tea with absolutely no bitterness . Being low in caffeine is very much in its favor so it is perfect to serve in the afternoon
Wonderful blend warm or cool. Refreshing and pleasant pear flavor. Brewed at 180 for 3 minutes.
Thrilled to see this tea in the CommuniTEA today! This is another one I purchased in the store so haven't been able to review.
Is it weird to describe something that's already a liquid as being succulent and juicy? Because this tea is succulent and juicy. It tastes exactly like biting into a ripe pear...if the pear had been simmered in a lovely, floral white tea.
Wait, that actually gives me an idea. BRB, I'm off to try making some tea-poached pears...
Pleasant, light tea with a subtle pear essence. I added a little honey to bring out more sweet flavor.
This is a floral (especially on the nose) white tea with a soft, sweet, creamy underlying pear flavor.
I love fruity teas, and this one has a gentle pear flavour that's not too overwhelming. It's light and slightly sweet. Would make a great afternoon or evening tea. Good when iced too.
A nice white tea, but I was able to taste little to no pear flavor.
Delicious. It’s light, fruity, and great with a bit of honey. I liked it so much, I accidentally drank it all before taking my daily tea picture. I’d definitely buy a bag to keep on hand, if I wasn’t currently in trouble with my spouse for buying too much tea!
Second steep, still good. Less pear and more floral though
This is my first white tea and I wasn't sure I would like it. I'd heard that they tend to be very mild. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The first thing I noticed upon opening the package was the wonderful aroma. It definitely smelled like pears. Funnily enough, I also thought I smelled some mild, faint banana which isn't even an ingredient. I steeped the tea for 3 minutes at 175 degrees (my teapot doesn't have 180 degrees, only 175 and 185). The flavor was very mild at first, but upon sitting it intensified. I love the flavor and have put this on my wishlist. Wonderful tea!
Very light tea. I felt like I had to add sugar to really taste any flavor profiles. I could have used some more pear flavor to be honest tho.
This was a lovely well balanced white. The pear boosts the profile and is identifiable as pear. Like many adagio white teas, this one made me sigh, sit back, and automatically relax. There's something about a good white tea that just MAKES you appreciate and slow down at tea time.
I enjoyed todays CommuniTEA sample. It's a nice mild tea...lovely with Adagio's green tea honey. The pear is not overwhelming and comes through more as the tea cools. It was a nice change from some of the spicy seasonal teas we have had lately.
It smells super fruity and has big pear taste. Sugary, warm, fruity, and delicious.
The aroma of the dry leaf is so wonderful with this tea. When brewed it's much more subtle. The pear flavor comes out more when cool. Very nice white tea!
This is one of the better white teas I’ve tried. Usually they don’t have enough flavor, but the pear flavor, although subtle, comes through nicely.
This tea is exceptional! It is so light and delicate but has had so much flavor and smells divine. Very similar to white peach and white blueberry, but truly delightful.
Juicer than I expected—like a ripe pear in both smell and flavor. Delicate but not under flavored. Fruity and just a touch floral.
I really enjoyed this tea. The pear flavor really came through and paired well with the white tea.
I am a white tea fan and am often hesitant about flavorings. It is such a beautiful tea on its own; why ruin it, right? Then I met White Pear. This is a fantastic tea. It is so delicious, just like sipping a perfectly ripe green pear. The flavoring is the perfect level; it doesn’t overpower the white tea, it complements it. This one is going on the wishlist! Happy Sipping!
CommuniTEA Sample: Usually I like white teas, but this one just misses somewhere. The pear flavor is a bit artificial tasting or something. It's ok, but not one of my favorites.
My packet had a solid pear taste and scent. I love white teas and this one was a pleasure.
A very smooth blend. The pear was a nice accent to the white tea. 180 deg for 3 min
