★★★★☆

This tea tastes clean and kind of sharp, in a way that makes me think of freshly-scrubbed things. If I'm not in the mood for it, it tastes weird, (very helpful description, I'm sure -- I can't figure out the right adjectives!) but when I am it's very tasty.

Pear is such a subtle flavor that I almost lost it in this tea. The focus is definitely on the white tea, which is as it should be, with the barest shadow of pear taste to it, which I think works.

★★★★★

This actually tastes like pears, which is my favorite fruit!

★★★★☆

Good, but not great. The pear is present, but I would have wished for slightly more in terms of pear flavor. But otherwise a really decent tea that I would reorder if there weren't other white teas that in my opinion work even better.

★★☆☆☆

I was not impressed by this one. For some reason it tasted soapy, and I didn't get any pear flavor at all.

★★★☆☆

This tea was okay - I couldn't taste the pear at all. Tasted like white tea leaves, very light in flavor.

★★★★☆

Light and smooth white tea with slight pear aroma. Good by itself, better with fruity green or white tea.

★★★☆☆

This is OK. It was a little better hot than iced but nothing to write home about.

★★★★☆

This tea is subtle and fabulous! I enjoy it in the afternoons.

★★★★★

I really like the white pear for it's unique and mild flavor. It leaves a "gritty" feeling in your mouth just like a real pear does. This is a good one if you love white teas and want to try something different.

★★★★★

I usually drink this tea hot, but because of the pear, it somehow has a refreshing quality to it that usually comes to a cold, iced drink. It's fantastic.

★★★★☆

This tea was good, but I found the pear flavor a little underwhelming. Pear tends to be a bit of a subtle flavor anyway. The tea is still good though

★★★★★

Delicate, aromatic and slightly sweet. I love this tea.

★★★★☆

It's not one of the best teas I had from the selection, but it certainty is not the worse. Still carries a refreshing taste, smooth and slightly flavory.

★★★★☆

Very good tea. I like the subtle pear taste. White tea is not normally my favorite but as far as white tea goes, this one is my favorite. It's great iced or hot.

★★★★☆

It was really good. I added some of the mango bits from another tea. Delicious.

★★★☆☆

This is not the silver needle of white teas by a long stretch, but for the price is a nice, light, pear-flavoured start to a mellow morning. I find the pear flavouring to be a little bit strong in this tea, giving the impression that someone swirled a pear flavoured candy in my cup. Opening the tin and taking a big sniff smells lovely, though.

★★★★☆

A nice, lightly flavorful white tea with a subtle hint of ripe pears.

★★★★★

This tea is rich and juicy, just like a good pear! I especially like it in the summer, but it's delicious any time. I've had this tea for awhile, and I do find the flavor fades more quickly with age than some of the other teas I've purchased, so I would recommed buying it in smaller quantities and reordering frequently!

★★★★★

This tea was so good. Like most of the other adagio teas I have tasted the flavor was just right; not too strong but not too subtle.

★★★★☆

Didn't taste much of the pear, but still a good white tea.

★★★☆☆

Pretty good white tea, but the pear aroma is lacking. Do NOT steep over 180º, it gets bitter and gross.

★★☆☆☆

I didn't think this tasted much like pear, and the tea wasn't as mild as white tea ought to be.

★★★★★

The pear flavor in this is subtle and blends smoothly with the white tea. I really enjoyed it.

★★★★★

Yummy mild white tea, goes perfectly with the mild pear flavor, if you're a fan of pears and white teas, this blend is perfect!

★★★★★

One of my absolute favorites! The aroma when you open the tin will blow you away!

★★★☆☆

It really needed a stronger pear flavor, the flavor was very dull- still not too bad.

★★★★☆

I think I would have preferred a bit more pear flavor, but otherwise very good.

★★★★☆

This is a good black tea. Mild in flavor but still refreshing.

★★★★☆

I really enjoyed this one. Great pear smell with a subtile white tea flavor.

★★★☆☆

The pear is a little bit too strong in this one. I prefer the white peach

★★★★★

my favorite of the white teas i have tried. sweet, hint of pear.

★★★★☆

This one surprised me with its sweetness and bold fruit flavor. It tastes like an asian treat. I did not find it to be as good iced as hot, which was surprising.

★★★★☆

I love the flavor of pear, but this is a bit overwhelming. It's good if it is blended with a plain white tea to lighten the taste.

★★★★☆

A good solid white tea. Could have a bolder flavor but it is pretty good.

★★★★☆

Very light and refreshing. I love this tea with breakfast.

★★★★★

I really enjoyed this tea and the cost makes it even more appealing.

★★★☆☆

I like whites a lot, but the aroma of this was a real turn off. I've found it's much better when mixed with an unflavored white and nice for iced tea, too.

★★★★☆

This is a good tea. The flavors are subtle, but good. It's not a standout for me, but the pear is quite different. I'll keep a small canister around for the random cravings.

★★★★★

This tea has a great flavor! I really liked it. It has just enough flavor.

★★☆☆☆

This tea was not flavorful enough to stand on its own. It might be good mixed with other delicate teas or used to smooth out a particularly tart cup.

come to the table with no expectations. enjoy it for what it offers. If you have a pear flavor in your mind, this may be a little off, but for what it is, it's delicious.

★★★★☆

Very subtle flavor but super delicious when you want something fruity.

★★★★★

Wonderful tea, great pear flavor, tastes very natural. I've found it to taste better to use more tea per fluid ounce of water because the tea leaves are so light and loose.

★☆☆☆☆

I did not enjoy this tea. It was not very 'pear-ish', and it smelled slightly odd.

Good, but doesn't taste like pear. Probably won't reorder.

★★★★★

Very delicate & sweet just like a perfect pear. It tastes like an Anjou pear, my favorite.

★★★★☆

This tea is just ok for me... It is a nice white tea, but the pear flavor is a little weird. It doesn't taste like 'pear' the way I would imagine it. I prefer the white blueberry.

★★★★★

Yum! This tea was light and flavorful and I enjoyed it immensely!

Terrific as iced tea. It also blends great with the white blueberry. This is one of my favorites of the flavored whites.
