A beautiful light pear tea! We had it iced but it would be lovely hot as well. It has a very delicate flavor

Something is wrong with this tea. It tastes burnt . I don’t get any pear flavor at all. This is the first time I’ve had a problem with any of their teas.

★★★☆☆

I didn’t care for this one. It was a bit artificial tasting. The flavor did not taste like pear to me.

Okay as a hot tea, much better as a cold brew. The sweetness really comes through the iced version.

I really enjoy the pairings of the white tea and fruit. I really like the white teas to drink at work, they brew quickly and only need a little bit of sweetness. I really like black teas, but I like them with milk, and the white teas give me a pick up, but without as much caffiene and as much fuss.

The pear is vey noticeable when brewing hot and becomes subtle when iced; coupled with the lightness of a white tea, this is always a great tea pairing.

This tea has a light pear flavor, just right when I feel like having a lighter cup. Love it.

The pear flavor tasted more fake than I expected. Otherwise not a bad cup to tea. But I still prefer other greens.

This tea was alright, and had a good smell. It was a bit too light on the pear flavor for me. The color was very light. If I try it again I’m going to increase the amount of tea I use and see if that makes a difference.

Update: I cold brewed it this time. Its better but still noy my favoteite.

This one was alright. I think blended with a Japanese green tea it would be even better. But that's just on persons opinion.

Communitea 3/29/24: Great tea, sweet and easy drinking even without adding any sugar, but I didn't detect any pear at all? I think I like this better than the other simple flavored white teas I've had from Adagio in the past, but that feels disingenuous because I couldn't really taste said flavor. Ah well! It's still good.

A lovelypear aroma and taste. It’s a very soothing tea. . I added a little honey. I really enjoyed this light fruit tea.

CommuniTEA packet. I have to be in the mood for a White tea. They are very delicate and finicky, but the reward is a flavor that is also very delicate and complex. I must have brewed this one right because it was delicious. Hints of pear and a poignant sweetness and a quiet scent of spring.

This tea is very good. The earthy and floralness of the white came out and was balanced by the mild fruitiness of the pear. This would be a great tea to blend with stronger flavored teas to neutralize a blends flavor.

White tea is very delicate so don't expect a huge flavor punch from this tea. However, the light pear taste comes through with a little sweetener.

Maybe it is because I can’t control the temperature on my teapot, or my palate but all the white fruit teas just taste like hot water to me.

A nice, delicate white tea, with a delicate pear flavor that wasn't over powering, but was still present. This tea was light, refreshing and uplifting.

If you love the taste of fresh pear like I do, you can't go wrong here, added to a delicate white base. Very refreshing!

Heavy hitting on the pear flavor and aroma. The flavor is good, it's just a tad on the strong side for me. It almost tastes like artificial flavoring and hides the flavor of the white tea.

As a white tea, this is absolutely lovely. I didn't really get any notable pear flavor in my brewing, though.

Really like this one. Combines everything I'm looking for in a white tea, flavorful yet gentle. A nice relaxing brew.

very delicate! A great combination of ingredients! I love the fruity teas, they are fun and have lots of different and unique products that you cannot find elsewhere.

As much as I enjoy a strong black tea it’s great to take a moment to breathe and relax with a nice light white tea as well. White tea and pear are both subtle. In order to taste a particular flavor I would recommend less water or more tea per serving.

Update 12/2/23 White Pear is still a favorite and it resteeps well too. The juicy pear flavor goes so well with white tea. I always look forward to its appearance in CT.

1/9/22 I adore this light fruit tea! The pear flavor is genuine and tasty and the delicate white tea base allows it to shine beautifully. As a sweet tooth, I usually make sweetener adds but this tea was so flavorful and naturally sweet I could enjoy it without one. However, my sweet tooth won out and I added tupelo honey. The honey did a nice job boosting the pear flavor even more for a sip that was enjoyable! Even the resteep was tasty. And chilled, this makes for an easy breezy light flavored iced tea with a nice mellow pear flavor.

My CT packet had 3 g/ 3 tsp. of short white tea leaves that were green in color, and some flavored apple pieces. I brewed 16 oz. ( a ratio of about 1 tsp. tea per 5 oz. water) at 180*F for 3 min. The golden yellow liquor had a pleasant pear aroma much like that of the dry tea. The white tea base had some pleasant astringency but no bitterness detected. This is a very tasty tea especially if you love pears.

A light pear flavor - not too strong but a hint to recognize it. CT 12/2/2023.

A very light tea -- very delicate white, with just enough pear to taste it. I usually like a bit more flavor, but this is nice for times you really want something light.

★★★★☆

Big fan of white tea! I loved the fresh pear scent coming out of the packet, though I wish more of it would come through in the taste aspect. This made for a very delicate and relaxing drink!

This tea was absolutely delicious! I believe I would have liked the base tea just as well without the infused pear flavor too. It's just simply a perfect balance of both a fantastic base tea and delicious flavor profile put together. Yum!

Opening my CommuniTEA packet, I could've sworn I smelled peach instead of pear and drinking it hot brewed didn't really convince me that there was any pear flavor at all. However, sipping it iced after letting it sit for a while, it was a much nicer and refreshing experience. White teas aren't really my favorite so I'll rate this one as okay, but I probably wouldn't order it.

The pear was a bit non-descript, but the tea was just fine. Nothing to write home about, nothing to complain about. Meh. Fair.

3.5 ⭐ As a white tea this is good, as a pear tea this is okay. From the sample pouch, there is a light pear scent. 3 min @ 165. I don't smell any pear after steeping. There is a faint pear flavor that is easily missed under the floral of the white tea. I like white tea, so I enjoyed it, but for pear it was lacking.

This tea is just not for me. First, it’s a very light tea, and second, it had a strong floral taste for me. I didn’t taste anything that was close to pears. I’m glad I had the chance to try it. I brewed it at 180 for 3 minutes.

I like my teas strong but was intrigued by this tea. The pear aroma is very nice. The pear flavor is very subtle which pairs very well with this delicate tea. I probably wouldn't buy this tea in bulk, but I would consider purchasing it in the future to change up my tea routine. It's nice to change it up and drink a lighter tea once in awhile.
