I chose this as my free sample as I used to drink white pear tea several years ago until my local grocery store stopped carrying that brand. I was excited to try this and overall I like it. It's a bit more bitter than the white pear I had before but still very nice.

It's ok. My taste is probably not refined enough to appreciate this. I don't really get a pear flavor from this tea and I like the white peony better. EDIT: I just read some of the other reviews on this tea. Some said great pear taste, some said they couldn't taste the pear. Is it possible that the pear flavor varies by batches? Or that some people can't taste pear flavor?
This tea is very tasty. I have only tried it hot, but I think it will taste even better cold!
I was a little disappointed in this one, I wasnt able to taste the pear as much as I was hoping, but pear is a pretty mild flavor to begin with.

I don't overly care for this tea. I don't think it has a pear flavor and it seems rather heavy and bitter for a white tea. It also has a very dark color to it for a white tea.

This is hands down my favorite white tea. You just have to be really careful not to brew for too long because it's easy to get bitter and ruin the pear flavor.

It is amazing how fast this tea disappeared. It wasn't overly fruity and proved to be a great comfort tea.
I'm really disappointed with this one. The leaves look nothing like the picture. It's just tiny, dark fragments. No whole leaves. I basically got the stuff that shakes down to the bottom of the bag. It honestly looked like it belonged in paper tea bags. The flavor of the tea was so bad- just bitter and nasty- that I can't really evaluate if I would like the pear flavor on decent tea leaves. Won't order again, and it has made me rethink ordering other flavored teas from adagio- this is the second or third time a flavored tea I ordered had just little flakes of leaves that tasted awful. I've never had the same problem with unflavored tea.
No surprises here. Just a white tea with pear. It's a touch more floral than I expected, but still a good white-fruit tea.

This one is good cup of white tea, the pear flavor is there, but I wouldn't mind if it were a little stronger. Still a good relaxing tea.
this tea was not bad at all - i really liked the pear-y flavors - but I found that this tea needed sugar as a sweetener. Not honey or anything else. Pure sugar.
This was good. For some reason, it had a taste that resembled green tea. I am not sure that I tasted the pear.

This was my favorite white tea I've ever had. It had a nice flavor, and didn't even need sugar.
I found it underwhelming. The base tea seems to go bitter really easily and I don't taste any pear at all. It's floral and smooth, but I got it for the pear, and there isn't any.

I did not like this tea at all because the base is White Peony and I don't like that tea. I was disappointed because I was looking forward to enjoying the flavored white teas. Unfortunately I didn't like any of them.
I'm not really a fan of fruit-infused teas, but decided to try this after a friend recommended it. It's really very good, as far as fruit teas go... So, if you do enjoy a sweet, light tea with a hint of pear - give this a try!

As pears are one of my favorite fruits, I really wanted to like this tea. Unfortunately, I ended up disappointed.
The first time I brewed this tea, I steeped it as per the instructions on the package. That was a big mistake - I ended up with a horribly bitter tea that wasn't remotely reminiscent of pear. Trying to salvage the sample, I changed up the temperature of my second brew. While the lower steeping temperature salvaged the base tea and negated most of the bitterness there was still no aspect of pear that was evident.
Overall, I felt that this tea deserved to be rated as bad.
Interesting taste. Not as pear-y as I would assume, but you can still taste it, especially with some sweetener.
