Very tasty. The grapefruit flavor isn't overwhelming - it's more subtle - but I definitely enjoyed the flavor.
Tangy grapefruit with sweet white tea from China. Zesty citrus, refreshingly sour-sweet, slightly dry.

Very tasty. The grapefruit flavor isn't overwhelming - it's more subtle - but I definitely enjoyed the flavor.
Excellent grapefruit flavor , not bitter . Very refreshing hot!
This tea is delicious! Smells like when you first cut into a grapefruit. Taste is a little more subtle and is just as good hot or iced.
This was a very pleasant blend. I often either love or hate grapefruit flavored foods and drinks. This one was an absolute hit!
I love this flavor, a great mid afternoon sip today, light but tasty
This is an awful, sour, bitter tea that I would not wish on my worst enemy. Definitely repulsive on the tongue. 185F for three minutes. I am going to have to go find a palate cleanser after sipping this! Yuck!
Another great smelling tea! A very citrus-y smell and taste, with enough zip to let you know it also has a grapefruit flavor. It's more sweet than sour, which is how I like my grapefruit.
I’m not sure what it was about this one that left me lacking. I didn’t taste any grapefruit, or anything other than white tea for that matter. It was pretty dry. Not sure if that was the blend or maybe just the way white tea is. Not a fan. I’m glad it does have fans though!
I find this tea enjoyable, but there are other white teas I like more. Between the two citrus offerings, I give White Tangerine the slightest edge over White Grapefruit.
Pleasantly surprised despite not being a huge grapefruit person. Still the tea was citrusy and fresh with a mild white tea finish.
I found this tea to be a nice mellow tea with a wonderful citrus flavor. I definitely got the grapefruit flavor and another flavor I was unable to place/identify, but it was reminiscent of how a peppery flavor can tingle on the tip of your tongue perhaps it was the citrus or marigold. I drank mine hot 180° for 3 min, but I feel like it would probably taste good iced as well. I did a 2nd steep same temp for 5 minutes and the citrus went to the background of a more floral flavor, I enjoyed this tea even if other teas are a first pick for the itch this tea would scratch.
I've never much enjoyed eating grapefruit, nor have I been a fan of grapefruit juice, but grapefruit tea? This is fabulous! Especially with a bit of honey, this is a very bright and zesty treat.
I liked this tea a lot. Delicate white tea, with a grapefruit flavor which was noticeable without being bitter.
CommuniTEA sample: 3 min @ 180 F, I managed to get 2 infusions out of this blend so far. It is what the name says it is, it's white tea, and it's grapefruit! And you taste them in that order, I like that both of them are mild flavors so that they don't overpower one another, but they're distinct flavors as well. I also think the way that they blend is interesting, it gives a slightly sweet herbal kind of taste, reminding me a little bit of something like mint or Rosemary, maybe? There is a tiny bit of balanced astringency in the blend as well, something that I think fits with both the white tea and the grapefruit, I want there to be that tiny bit of astringency. Overall, it's sweet, a little bit bitter, and an enjoyable tea!
Wonderful smelling tea that ends up being quite mild and delicate which is perfect for this finicky flavor. I like things a bit more assertive but I think this is a well rounded tea.
Its aroma is full of citrus, and the taste of this tea is really good. Please don't drink it with the dessert with citrus. if so, you cannot feel good the citrus in tea 😅
I love grapefruit flavor, but this tea is very bland.
Grapefruit shines in this delicious white tea blend, the bitterness of the grapefruit offsetting the sweetness of the white tea.
Bright and flavorful. A very nice citrus blend! Refreshing!
If carefully steeped, it has zero bitterness. It is a delightfully delicate cup, with a strong, but pleasant grapefruit flavor.
Very good
light and not too overwhelming but still had a nice grapefruit flavor that wasn't overly bitter. :-)
For a white tea this was not bad. The aroma is terrific and this tea has a mildly sweet-tart hint of grapefruit flavor. I suspect it might be better chilled than hot so into the fridge it goes.
Due to the white tea base, this has a lighter taste than its black tea counterpart, but the grapefruit flavor still sparkles. Brewed for 4 minutes somewhere between 180 and 212 with 1 packet of Splenda.
This delivers a light, but unmistakably grapefruit flavor.
This tea has a beautiful bouquet, so fruity, citrussy and delicate. Aromatherapy even before the first taste. This tea is light, sweet, very refreshing, and easy to drink. I like white tea paired with fruit. I’d buy this tea.
I am not a fan of grapefruit tea so I knew this wouldn’t be for me.
I'm not a grapefruit kind of gal, but I do appreciate a nice, white tea. This one belongs in a blend because it is kind of bland on its own. The citrus profile is very light, but I still don't like grapefruit.
Grapefruit and sweet white tea create a zesty, refreshing blend—perfect hot or iced for any time of day!
I wish this tea had some more grapefruit flavor. It mostly just tastes like a floral white tea with some fruity notes. Not too bad, but also nothing too special in my opinion.
Light & sweet fruity flavors. Delicious hot or iced!
I love this this tea , had a pleasant aroma and a nice citrus taste
First time me ordering this tea! I love, love all your white tea selection and this one did not disappoint me!
I love the flavor of grapefruit, unfortunately for me this tea was lacking that ooomph. Although the tea lacked significant grapefruit flavor it was a pleasing tea, but I will not be purchasing this one again. I made it cold brew, and hot neither worked very well for me
I like this tea. Lighter white tea. If you step too long gets bitter like most green teas. I would order again
A nice warming army that tickled the senses and felt like a warm cop of spring. However it did not have a strong taste of grapefruit and had me craving more.
This is by far the best white tea I’ve ever tasted!
I like to try a white tea every so often...this White Tea by itself has a hint of grapefruit but more of plain tea taste. It works great mixed with a flavored herbal tea such as fruit medley.
Absolutely my favorite tea!! The grapefruit is subtle yet perfect!
Tried this as both hot and iced. Iced is by far the preferred method. The woodsy/rice flavor hits you first, followed up by the light grapefruit taste. It's alright, very subtle.
I keep coming back to white grapefruit. its a prefect mixture with the citrus that adds to the white tea. make sure to add honey or it might be a tad too bitter.
This tea is a great breakfast tea, the zing of the grapefruit wakes you up, very refreshing. Good any time of the day
Subtle white tea with a bright, sweet tart grapefruit flavor. Sometimes a grapefruit flavor can be rather an assault on sense, but this is a lovely blend.
This had a strong grapefruit aroma coming from the bag but the grapefruit aroma was lost once brewed. I also did not detect much grapefruit flavor. I was disappointed considering most other grapefruit teas I have tried from Adagio have been very flavorful!
01/08/23 Tried again and I feel the same. Maybe next time I should try cold brewing.
Delicate grapefruit /orange aroma and flavor. I added a teaspoon of squeezed orange juice and honeyII this tea would be perfect with orange biscotti or scones. .
This was a nice white tea but I didn't taste much grapefruit. I was looking forward to the fruitiness so that was a bit disappointing.
Was expecting a bit more grapefruit flavor and was nervous trying this since have an intolerance for grapefruit but not much flavor going on this one. It's nice and gentle just not alot of flavors jumping out
It’s very good. It tastes exactly as described; grapefruit and white tea. A sprinkle of sugar brings out the fruit flavor. Uncomplicated, crisp, and refreshing.
When I opened my CommuniTea packet, I immediately noticed the aroma of citrus. I steeped it for 3 minutes. The first few sips were a little bitter, but the grapefruit mellowed out. Overall it was a smooth, refreshing tea!
I'm not the biggest fan of grapefruit, but I do like this tea! The flavor is dry and woody up front, with a sharp acidic tang at the back. It reminds me somewhat of chardonnay.
A light white with a citrus zing that's muted at best. Adding a little light agave helped to bring out a still faint grapefruit nipping, but had a more tart edge at least that was very pleasant.
