One of my new favorite white teas, great flavor, but still has the overall mildness of white tea.

Tasty! Definitely one of my favorites! I prepared it as the directions stated on the bag.

The more I drink from this sample bag, the more addictive the tea gets. I didn't like the standard black darjeeling or the oolong darjeeling particularly, but it just pairs really well with the white tea. Although I didn't love it at first, it has really grown on me and I think I may order more in the near future.

This was a lot more vegetal than what I have come to expect from a white tea, and had little in common with the other Darjeelings I've had before. It was not as light as many white teas. There was no astringency whatsoever. Quite smooth. No real complexity, though, I guess.

I've been eagerly waiting for this tea for quite some time. It's been on my list of teas to try since I'm fond of both white teas and Darjeeling teas. This is an absolutely wonderful tea and was entirely worth waiting for. In the bag, it has a heady, floral aroma that was completely intoxicating. It's light and clean but very flavorful. It has the sweet, hay-like qualities of a good white tea and the floral, Muscatel qualities that Darjeeling teas are known for. In fact, it might be my new favorite tea. I think I should probably buy some more just in case it doesn't come back in stock for a while.

Oa refreshing white. It has more flavor than other white teas I have tasted.

I love that this is a Darjeeling in white tea form. its sweet and subtle.

I got it a bit too strong, steeped it too long. I'm not quite used to brewing white teas yet, so I will need to practice some more with this. Does not make good iced tea.

I wasn't too sure about this one at first, but it grew on me. It has a very delicate flavor, and it's great with cream and honey.

Uhm. YES. So good. There isn't much of your typical Darjeeling flavor, but still. An EXCELLENT tea.

Excellent, lighter oolong for late afternoons. Steep at a lower temp than Adagio recommends.

Very Mild but lovely taste. I am usually not a big white tea drinker.

I did not actually order this tea, yet Adagio insists I review it. Probably good?

If you enjoy the white Darjeeling, I cannot recommend enough the Darjeeling Puttabong Summer.

This was a very lightly flavored tea for me. I was surprised to see the extremely long recommended brew time, but tried it out after steeping for a shorter time and it was definitely light. I rec'd a free sample with other purchase, so it was a good deal, but not my favorite white tea, nor my favorite Darjeeling.

I'm not a huge fan of white teas in general, but this one works for me. It has a bit more character than many whites, which tend to sort of blend together for me.

Very ununsual darjeeling! I really like it's subtle flavor and delicate aroma. Not for people who like strong tastes.

This is quite a nice alternative to the standard black darjeeling. I like how it is much milder and yet still has the darjeeling edge. Very nice.

Quite nice. Good flavor, nice aroma and smooth tasting. I'd probably buy this one again.

Very distinct Darjeeling flavors. Darker color than expected. This is definitely going on my favorites!

Steeped this one for the full 7 minutes, and when the resulting tea was darker than I expected for a white, thought it had been brewed too long. However, it ended up having very delicate, distinct Darjeeling flavors. Resteeps well.

★★★★★

the best out of all darjeelings offered from adagio, very subtle and i like drinking it over and over again

★★☆☆☆

An abject failure as a white tea. Its flavor is dark, heavy, and bitter - exactly what I don't want in a white tea.

This is my second favorite white tea from adagio behind the silver needle. Definitely worth trying out, but at the same price, I usually go for the silver needle instead.

★★★★★

Quickly became my favorte white. I found many of the whites too light but this one had just the right amount of flavor. Will defnitely order again!

★★★★★

Crisp, clean, golden in the cup. Has that touch of muscatel to let you know this is a quality Darjeeling.

This is the absolute best white tea ever!! I am a big fan of the darjeelings and this is perfect at the end of the day light and refreshing. Also I made it iced and WOW!!

★★★★★

One of the best white teas I have tried lately, would purchase again.

★★★★★

I adore this tea! I began my tea drinking with darjeeling and to now discover it in this form is like Christmas! The flavor becomes crisper and, to me, more enjoyable.

★★★★★

Delicious light delicate white tea with the distinctive muscatel aroma and flavor of Darjeeling. Very pleasant cup.

Nice overall, a slightly citrusy/floral taste that was not distracting from the normal 'tea' flavor

I just did not like this tea, no matter how I brewed it.

★★★★★

I love 2nd flush Darjeeling, and White tea is so wonderfully light that I can really enjoy the layered tastes of the Darjeeling region. This also makes a really good base to blend with light flavors (mint, rosebuds, etc.)

★★★★★

This is one of my favorite white teas. This spectacular tea has a very unique taste, it's unlike any other - you simply need to taste it to understand. It is extremely clean with no vegetable or grassy overtones. Expensive, but worth it. I give this tea a 9 out of 10.

★★★★★

excellent tea. it is light and has a wonderful flavor. My favorite white tea.

★★★★☆

I was surprised that I like reglar darjeeling better. Usually I prefer white tea's gentle spirit.

★★★★☆

Delicious white, but a little too much caffeine for me.

★★★★☆

The white darjeeling is very good. But when I tried the white blueberry it couldn't compete.

★★★★★

I love all of the darjeeling teas I have tried and this is no exception.

★★★☆☆

This tea was not a favorite of mine, but I still have some left & will try it again!

★★★★☆

This tea has a slight grassy taste to it. The second steeping was often better than the first.

Not a typical white tea, but delicious in its own right. A light and subtle darjeeling. For your first white tea, get Silver Needle, but for your second, get this.

★★★★☆

A fun twist on the darjeeling tea. This white tea really hits the spot in the afternoon.

★★★☆☆

I like white tea. I like darjeeling tea. But I'm not a fan of white darjeeling (or spring darjeeling).

I prefer my whites white, & my blacks black (tho' my favorite Oolong is #40, a rather oxidized / fermented Oolong that's sort of an Oolong/Black hybrid). But I digress..
This tea has a crisp darjeeling flavor, but to me tastes watered-down. And I found it had a tendency to get bitter (and a bitter aftertaste that became more pronounced as it cooled).

An interesting flavor for a white tea! I am giving it to my mom as a Christmas gift.

Good white tea, although I prefer Silver Needle to it.
