Nice and delicate with a subtle flavor. It doesn't jump out and bite you but has a good flavor after swallowing.

I enjoyed the silver needle. It is a very delicate tea with a very light flavor. Not overpowering and quite enjoyable.

This is my favourite white tea ever! It is very delicate - to me it feels like you are only tasting the tiny silver hairs that are on the leaf.

Silver needle is the BEST tea I've ever had. I drink it daily. Be sure not to over-steep it. The color is slight, but the taste is strong. I LOVE THIS TEA!

white tea has the best flavor and this one is great, but...i wish it were a little more pronounce. it seems like to much to pay for so little flavor. definitely dont over sweeten this one. half a teaspoon of honey or less will do.

Perhaps it is just me, but this was really an unpleasant taste - I was reminded of slightly dank forest.

This is my all time favorite, at least for now it still is. I still use Lessman's when I travel, but when I am at home I always brew this one with other loose teas or even by itself. It has the highest antioxidant ratings and taste mild compared to the green teas. I think it is the healthiest and most refreshing tea I have experienced.

I can't say enough good stuff about this tea. I love the taste, the smell, and it gets better with multiple brewings.

Pretty good white tea. Expected it to be a little more flavorful. I think we like the White Assam the best of the white teas we've tried so far, but the silver needle is also good.

I'm a bit dissapointed with this. It doesn't have much of a taste and actually reminds of the White Monkey in the Green Tea List. I don't understand why this white tea is considered so good.

This tea has a very mellow taste. This tea will be great for those new to tea because the taste isn't too, too strong.

This one might just be a tad too subtle for my tastes. It's also quite expensive and I have to put an awful lot of tea in per cup to get it to where I feel like I'm drinking something more than hot, colored water.

This was my first experience with white tea. I was expecting it to be very mild, but found that it was too grassy and vegetal for me. However, if you like green teas, this would be a nice addition.

I bought a white tea sampler - my first introduction to white tea - and silver needle is my absolute favorite. Very delicate, subtle, sweet flavor. Perfect in the afternoon.

I love this tea. It tastes delightful. I personally have to steep it a bit longer for my unsofisticated palate, but it's very enjoyible.

This tea is very subtle and not a good starter tea. It creates a really beautiful, almost pink, color and has a lingering but indescribable flavor.

My favorite white. Pretty hearty flavor for a white (when you add enough leaves to steep)with a nice balance of earthy and fruity flavors. Very crisp and refreshing and leaves absolutely no bitterness and makes a fine evening tea that leaves a great clean taste in your mouth.

This is my new favorite, I am so addicted! It's light, not bitter, not grassy. Its pale color is beautiful. The leaves themselves are pretty. I can drink this all day long. Definitely on my must-buy list.

This has a muskier taste to it, compared to the white peony, which is smoother. But, it is a nice, deep tea.

I love all white teas. The flavor for silver needle is mild, but it's definitely there. It's even good for people who tell you they don't like tea because they've had the bitter stuff from tea bags in grocery stores.

Silver needle is good, but I steeped it longer than recommended, with good results. I think the white peony is better.

I absolutley love this tea! Like the description says it has a light taste but it's sooo good. This will definetly be one of my regular teas to have on hand!

I've always wanted to like white teas, but I'd never found one which I at all liked. I don't drink this often, but I definitely enjoy it's flavor. It's stronger than the other whites I've had, approaching green in strength. Yet it doesn't have much, if any, of the grassy flavor that tends to dominate greens. It's like hot water with a heavy, yet delicate overtone. Yet it also has... I think of it as a tea flavor at it's root, which gets covered up by most greens and all blacks. What ever it is, it enhances the natural flavor of water just enough to keep it from being bland.

It's worth a try, but order a small amount to start, this 4oz will last me forever.

This is one of my favorites. It's not very economic, because the leaves are so voluminous. However, you can enjoy this tea with the standard 1 tsp/cup measurement. It isn't strong, but it lasts longer and tastes good.

By far my favorite tea. A great tea that doesn't seem to get bitter.
