It s hard to go wrong with Silver Needle. It s light and smooth. By far one of my favorite all time teas. I enjoy the flavor of the mild tea taste and pale golden color.
Silver Needle white tea is among the most revered of Chinese teas. Gathered only for a few days in early spring, a dedication to perfection is evident in the pale, ivory-colored liquor. Delicately honeysuckle floral, with a warmed sugar sweetness.

i only got a sample but will get a full size soon. i have been adding it to several of my teas to give me the health benefits. when i drink it alone it has the nicest light refreshing flavor. i find myself taking a nice whiff prior to drinking. its so lovely all by its self.
Delicious, but very expensive tea. I prefer this tea on special occasions.
Nice sweet smell and great taste. We enjoy it in the evening after dinner.
Best tasting white tea!! I drink this hot and iced. Beautiful subtle flavor, low caffeine, full of anti-oxidants, and always a calming cup to soothe the soul.
Everything I expected. Sweet and slighty 'hayish', refreshing. One of my favorite white teas.
This is a nice subtle tea. Perfect for right before you go to bed or when winding down.
Mild, flavorful, and delicious. This tea is one of my favorite whites I've tried.
Lighter and sweeter than white peony, with more fruity notes. This tea is subtle and requires no sweeteners, and is good for a ton of steepings. While I think I prefer white peony, I still loved every cup of this sample.
I'm not a fan of strong teas, so this was great for me.
enjoy the relaxing feature of this tea flavor is smooth
I love white tea and my favorite white tea is silver Needle. I swear this silver needle tea taste great and the price is not bad either.
I wanted to LOVE this tea, I really did. I've been purchasing white tea from Teavanna for many years, as I use it for the healing properties. So, I was very excited to learn of Adagio teas, and when I found the price was lower, as it is very expensive tea, I was happy. However, and as I was a little apprehensive of, the quality was not only in the same ballpark, it was way out in the outfield. The smell was horrible! It smelled of burnt something, I couldn't quite put my memory on. The taste was marred, of course by the smell, as a large part of the tea experience is aroma. But, the tast was bitter and offensive as well as burnt. I want my $ back, and an explanation of HOW is it that this expensive silver needle is so bad?
A tea to have on hand. Always have a cup when I feel a cold coming on seems to make me feel a little better.
Last time I had silver needle was from Teavana and let me tell you the quality is outstanding from Adagio! This tea has such a nice soft subtle flavor and mixes great with other fruit or white teas. My favorite combo is silver needle with white peach.
It has a mellow taste, though not so mild so as not to have taste
I love this one, it's very smooth, with light floral and fruity notes.
Seriously? This stuff is flavorless. Like, the weakest green tea that you can imagine. Considering that it's rather expensive, I expected it to knock my socks off. I guess that I'm just not a fan of white teas.
This tea is a very delicate and light tea. I first bought it for my boss who said it was the best tea he has ever had so then I had to try it for myself. It is really good. I will flavor it with an orange blossom honey and a hint of lemon and it is knock out good. I brew it at 198 because that is what our hot water temp at work is.
Hands down the best white tea I've tried. Excellent flavor. Extremely smooth with a pleasant taste and aroma. Perfect for an afternoon cup.
The best minimalist, clean tasting tea and very healthy too boot.
sublime and floral truly outstanding. a special drink.
Absolutely delicious. I love silver needle tea, and you can't beat the price.
this is a light and delicate tea, but flavorful as well. it's pretty pricey though, so i only drink it as a treat!
Silver needle is a treat that is worth the price. Fine metallic undertones. The cheaper teabags are just as good as the pricier loose tea.
Light with floral qualities. Nice in the evenings.
Not worth the extra money in my opinion, maybe I didn't prepare it correctly, I was not super impressed.
A pleasant white tea. Subtle and delicate. I don't buy it too often because of the cost but it's nice once in a while.
My favorite tea. I particularly appreciate being able to reuse the leaves two more times with no loss in quality. Very smooth and satisfying.
Addendum: I've been drinking this for two years now and find the routine as satisfying as the taste. I buy it in the 8 oz bag which fits perfectly in a 9' (70 oz) airtight acrylic canister.
Wonderful earthy flavor! I first tried this during a tea tasting and was instantly hooked!
The silver needle is good but not as good as the Fujian silver needle, but it's also cheaper if that's a consideration.
Great light tea for summer. Even better with a splash of peach juice.
Absolutely fantastic tea. Light, floral, buttery even. It's pricey but so good that I try to have some in stock whenever I can.
Very earthy aroma, with a hint of seaweed. While steeping it is very aromatic, smells strongly of honey and flowers with a slight whiff of dried grass/hay. At the end of steeping, the remaining leaves smell even more like dried grass/hay and honey (in a very pleasant way).
Very mellow and sweet taste in first steep. Flavor lingers on the tongue slightly longer than other teas. It is very floral. I'm having a hard time describing the taste, however it is very good.
Second steep was for 3:30. The flavor was the same, just slightly less intense. Still very good for the second steep. I really enjoy this tea and look forward to trying more Silver Needle.
Flavors: Dry Grass, Earth, Flowers, Hay, Honey
This is my favorite white tea. I have tried the jasmine silver but this is too floral for me. Plain silver needle is a great tea for mid morning or afternoon.
One of my favorite go-to teas. Lite yet full flavor. Slight fruity sweetness, and the aroma is wonderful.
A very light, smooth white tea. I would definitely order this again.
This tea is yummy, rich, and almost creamy like .
I'm usually a fan of white tea, but this particular silver needle has no noteworthy flavor to it, so I'll pass on this and move on to another white tea.
This is one of my husbands favorite teas. very smooth with a nice subtle flavor.
Like it a lot drink it in the mornings and after dinner.
Love this tea. have it frequently
Good earthy taste. The product is a little expensive.
I've tried silver needle tea from several vendors and this is the best!
This tea is smooth like Billy D Williams. Ill buy this again and again.
This tea has a very delicate flavor and is incredibly smooth.
this tea has such a suprisingly delicate flavor to it quickly leaving me in love! if you like a soft flavor this tea is a must!!
This is a more subtle tea, but one that became addictive as an afternoon tea when I want something with a light sweetness but not too much caffeine. Though this is a light tea, it's smooth and full flavored.
Nice light and flavorful. Always a good choice for white tea.
This was my first time tasting a white tea. I really enjoyed the taste
Now sure if it's the hint of white grape, but something about the aftertaste of this tea does not appeal to me. Not a bad tea, but just not my preference.
