very fresh tasting. worth the price for a top shelf white tea.
recommend to steep for 30 seconds at 125 then discard liquid. steep a second time for 30 seconds at 125 for sweetest flavor. oversteeping may cause bitterness
Handpicked fine silvery down bearing buds from carefully reared tea bushes in the Fuding area of Fujian, China.

Very nice but not too flavorful. Had a few cups and starting to warm up to it
One of my favorites. It’s very light and refreshing
very interesting taste, definitely goes well as an afternoon tea.
This is one of my favorite teas. It seems sweet even without adding anything to it. It is light and refreshing
Amazing tea I love it so much, ADAGIO teas is amazing
One of the best tasting teas I have tried! Great company all around.
A really good tea! The rarity of it alone makes it special. I enjoy the taste of white symphony better due to it being sweeter. I still would highly recommend!
This silver needle is above and beyond other silver needle. I’ve drank much white tea over the years; this is in a class of its own!
CommuniTEA portion: 180 for 3 minutes. Wonderful sip. Light tea that was slightly fruity, slightly floral, and all kinds of yum.
This is a rather plain tea. It's not one that I would get excited about, but I wouldn't refuse it either. 180 F x 3 min
A lovely simply light tea. I added sugar, which may have been a mistake because its definitely masking some of the flavors. But its definitely a nice cup regardless
This is a lighter tea that I totally love. I usually brew this added to other teas to add just a bit of brightness/different taste nuance to a plain black or oolong. Really great brewed with a mint tea as well. I'm not normally a white tea fan...but this one I enjoy. :)
This was a pleasant tea. It had nice white leaves in the packet that brewed to a light golden color. The taste was a bit fishy at first but smoothed out. CT 4/15/23. 1.75 g 2 min at 175.
This is a zen and delicious white tea. I like it plain.
Bit weaker than other teas I’ve had recently, but not terrible. Was still smooth and nice to drink
White tea may not be my preference but I am learning to appreciate the nuances through Communitea. Lovely tea that was perfect to sip while relaxing and pondering life on a Saturday afternoon.
Not a tea for me, unfortunately. It was buttery, which had a bit of a strange mouthfeel [instead of it being smooth, for example], brisk in even the detection of a taste [like a hint of a hint of a hint of cucumber?], and overall too light for what I typically enjoy. Not for me, but nice to try, nonetheless.
I normally enjoy white teas, but this one just didn't do it for me. The leaves in my packet were mostly crushed, so there was a lot of dust. I steeped at 180 for 3 minutes. I got a more savory, buttery, flavor to my cup. Not the flavor profile I enjoy, so I passed it on to my daughter who loved it.
This tea was ok to me. For me it was too mild and the flavor profile was not something I would gravitate towards. Almost had a mineral like woody taste to it. I am glad I got to experience this tea through the CommuniTEA though.
Great tea love the flavor light and floral flavor.
very pleasant and tasty despite being on the lighter side
Exactly what I’d expect from a premium white tea. Lovely finish and very smooth.
Interesting white tea. Lovely silvery leaves. Fruity and woodsy aroma and taste. I added a little honey.
A chill cup of tea
Just Chillaxin with my cat
And this here fun read
A swell cup of tea
Just Swinging on the front porch
And feelin’ the breeze
A jazz cup of tea
Just Jammin' out to sweet tunes
And bouncin’ my knee
(Haiku Review)
I liked it, it was nice and lite, a bit earthy but not in a bad way, still a bit meh for me, I wouldn't buy it, but I would drink it again.
A tea flavored breeze
Blows through a flowing river
Dripping on my tongue
Very nice to have a master's tea in our sampling today. I enjoyed the light melon and cucumber flavor notes. I love the long fuzzy leaves, too.
I enjoyed today's tea. It has great flavor, slightly fruity.
smooth and light with a lovely floral flavor. I sampled this tea as part of the CommuniTea April 2023 box.
I appreciate that this tea is high quality. I love the needle like leaves. I find this tea to be on the light side and probably wouldn't purchase it.
This is a lovely, light white tea with definite melon flavors that diminish with repeated steeping. Even so, I enjoyed 3 full steeps of pleasant tea! I steeped at 175 degrees for 4 minutes the first time and 3 minutes for successive brews. I added nothing.
A fun and beautiful tea. Super fun tea to try. Complex flavor.
This is not a bad tea, but it isn't the type of tea I prefer to drink. The flavor is very mild and I prefer bolder flavors.
I’ve had this tea countless times and in many ways. I’ve used it to create other blends, I’ve had it hot and iced as well as the tea in a dessert. It’s just one of those must have teas for me.
This is a lovely tea! When I opened my CommuniTEA packet, I noticed light grassy aromas with hints of floral. I steeped the tea for 3 minutes. The flavor is very delicate, but as it cooled I was able to detect the notes of melon.
It was an okay brew. It was a smooth cup. I would like more flavor.
This wasn’t a bad tea, per se, but it didn’t have much flavor for me. Maybe that was just my packet. I brewed it at 180 for 3 minutes.
Today's CommunityTea packet is fujian silver needle, one of the Masters' teas available on Adagio. I love white tea, and silver needle is always fun. I brewed it in glass to watch it expand and dance. Delicate and sweet, as well as visually appealing. Brewed in 10 ounces of 180-degree water for shy of three minutes.
Just tasted like hot water to me... no smell no flavors. Not sure what happened here.
Today's Silver Needle CT, I brewed carefully to gain the full experience of Zen Silver Needle Sippage. This is a fine and fancy cup, and technically it is great--but just not to me, its solely a 4 star tea experience vibe, in my perception. My Silver Needle preference is 'Jasmine Silver Needle.' 🪡 Grateful to be able to give today's Silver Needle selection a try through the CT experience. 🤍
However, Jasmine Silver Needle is the only 🥈🪡 that I would keep in my Tea Cabinet. This is just not my preferred tea affinity of tastes. 🌸🍵
Love, love, love silver needle teas. So light and delicate, with a pleasant aroma and a hint of melon sweetness.
A high quality white tea with a pleasant taste with a dominant taste of melons.
A very pleasant cup. Jasmine and other florals dominate but there is more going on here. Not an everyday tea but a good one
Another reviewer said this tea is about the 'zen of tasting nothingness,' but in a good way. I think this is lost on my novice palate. I might have to give this another go after more white tea experience.
I do not pick up on notes of melon or cucumber but this is a delightful, light tea.
I usually only drink white teas when they come in my CommuniTEA box. I don't dislike them but I find them too light and lacking flavor. This one is still light and delicate but has more flavor and a really refreshing quality to it. Definitely a premium tea I would consider purchasing.
If you add honey taste= honeydew and butter. Would recommend to all.
This is a nice light white tea with a pleasant taste. It makes a nice change from the stronger black teas and flavored teas.
A buttery and soothing sipping tea. There is a delicate flavor of cucumber and a faint touch of melon. A tea for contemplation and relaxation.
