My kids love this tea, they been drinking it when they are sick and can't get enough.
Very balanced, mint is not overpowering. It's even better with a bit of ginger inclusion and a bit of sugar. I can get 3 steeps from one spoonful without it suffering - add 30 seconds to the second steep, and go a full 3 minutes for the third. This has become my favorite tea.
Wonderful for flu season! I have a choir boyfriend, so gotta make sure I stock up!
Very good tea. Really helped with my sore throat. Put just a teaspoon of honey and topped it right off.
First of all, I don't like that two stars is labeled 'bad.' This tea is not bad at all, it's just not my 'cup of tea.' The only flavor I can taste is mint. I was hoping the other herbs and green tea would pack more of a punch to sooth a scratchy throat and provide a little uplift, but it is a blah tea. One teaspoon is *very* weak, not much flavor comes through at all. I'll try brewing a double strength cup next time and update my review if there is any difference. But I don't see this tea having any palliative value.
I bought a big bag after the sample. This tea helps me start my day.
I enjoy this tea a lot when I'm sick. It' has enough caffeine to perk me up a bit and the ginger and peppermint is a nice touch.
It’s winter time and it seems like everyone around me is getting sick, so I thought I’d get this tea just in case. 2 days after I received it, I woke up with a sore throat and a bit of the sniffles. I made myself a cup of this, and boooom, my sore throat is soothed.
I like the taste too, it’s like minty or gingery (not too strong of a ginger flavor, but enough to detect it). Gonna make this tea a permanent part of my tea collection.
Tastes good and supposed to help with the winter crud. I haven t been sick, but this still tastes amazing. I imagine that it would taste good even if my nose was stuffy!
I found the scent to be peculiar, but I enjoyed the taste! Also, I felt better after having a cup. I ll keep this tea around for when I feel a bit under the weather.
My husband and I both enjoy this tea. I like the earthy flavors as is, also nice with a pinch of added mint, and would be excellent a sweetener if you prefer. Not sure about the recovery, but it certainly is worth a shot!
I initially received this tea in the cold and flu pack. Because I don’t like licorice, fennel, or ginger, I was extremely hesitate to try this tea. One day tried this tea out of desperation because i was feeling icky from a soon to be sinus infection. And WOW! I was so surprised with the flavor. They all blend beautIfully together and in a way that I somehow didn’t taste the licorice, fennel and only a hint of ginger. This is now one of my Top 10 and part of my regular teas.
This tea has a very medicinal taste to it, which is welcome when one feels like they re coming down with something. Even if it might be a placebo, it s a good one!
I am normally not a fan of herbal teas, but this blend is incredible. Very well balanced flavor that is comforting for colds, digestion, or any time you want to be soothed by your tea.
I love this ginger flavor with the green tea. It’s my go-to comfort tea.
I love it, but I’m partial to ginger, so if you’re not beware.
Don't know yet if it helps with recovery, but it certainly tastes good
brew this with a little bit of honey, and honestly it helps you feel so much better when youre sick
I love this recipe. My son loves it too. The mint is there but not so overwhelming that you don't taste the other ingredients. It's just what I need and want when I'm feeling sick or feeling something coming on.
I usually add honey to this one.
I have a few cups of this tea whenever I feel a cold coming on. So far I have not had anything progress beyond the sniffles.
Not going to lie, this tea is DELICIOUS. I put in honey and I honestly could drink this for fun.
However I did drink it in a house full of the flu and my symptoms were only as bad as a nasty cold and a two hour fever. Too bad I was stuck taking care of everyone else to brag about avoiding the flu. Ha!
Love this tea. Its light, bright, and really helped me feel better when I was sick with an awful cold!
Interesting blend of flavors, and wonderful when you have a cold.
Love this tea! It will be come a staple in my cupboard for sure.
I always keep this stocked. The fennel gives it a pleasant, licorice-y flavour, and it feels great on a sore throat.
I love this tea! Anytime my or my hubby have a stomach or feel less than great, I whip up a pot of this tea. It's not only delicious but it usually helps with any digestion issues. I love how dependable it is; I have my clean but my hubby likes a spot of honey with his. Either way, super yummy!
Fantastic especially when you feel a cold knocking at your throat!!
I can't speak to the medicinal properties of this tea, but it was very yummy and definitely soothing!
I like it on a cold day. I haven't tried it when I'm sick.
I love the taste and soothing of this tea. I mixed in some chunks of ginger and honey when I had a bad cold and loved it. Would probably like a strong mint taste if anything.
Love love the combo of mint and green tea! Tasty, especially for a “sick” tea.
This tea was okay... it was really sweet. I think it would have been better if paired with a base flavor.
This is a great tea , i have a two year who is always bringing home germs and it feels like there is always some sort of bug going around the house. On several occasions i have felt under weather and would drink this tea morning and night. On those occasions this teas helped me minimize the impact of my cold without medication. The caffeine gives you a little boast and the mint helps sooth your throat .
I really wanted to like this, but the flavor just didn t wow me. It was a fine green tea, but I had hoped the other flavors would come through more.
For a green tea, this isn't bad. I usually only drink herbals, but thought I'd give this one a try based on the rest of the ingredients. It's very easy on the stomach and the peppermint is helpful with my headaches. The flavors aren't overwhelming, but everything is perfectly balanced to hide the green tea flavor that I don't particularly like.
I find this tea incredibly relaxing and refreshing. I'm not usually a fan of peppermint tea, but this one is definitely more subdued than regular mint tea because of the other ingredients. Naturally sweet. Yum.
I recently had a cold and this tea helped me through it. I will definitely be ordering again.
Is this tea magical? Seriously: after walking home in the cold and feeling very coldy and achey all over, I made some of this tea, and after three sips my whole body started to feel better. It felt like magic, the pain and acheyness just melting away. I just had one cup: I might make a second, and see how far I can get this magical brew to take me! And it's delicious; I put a little rock sugar in it, but the fennel adds plenty of sweetness already.
Hoping to use this the next time I’m feeling under the weather.
I started feeling really run down and my sinuses were bothering me. Horrible headache as well. I combined this with Minty Comfort. Mixed with a teaspoon of honey. It was so good and soothing and my headache started to fade not long after I drank it.
Tastes very Good and smells nice. I’m not currently sick but I see how this could be helpful. I will update again once this happens. Haha I really like it even as a regular daily tea too.
Not sure if this actually helped me get over my cold or what but tastes good regardless
This is the mother fucking bomb god damned dot com
This. Actually. Works. Holy cow. I used to drink tea for the flavor, but this made me a believer in the benefits! Whenever I feel like I’m getting sick, in the thick of it, or getting over it, this is my go-to tea. Side note- it also works wonders on hangovers!
This is a nice Minty green tea. I ve accidentally overstepped this tea a couple times and it didn t get bitter.
I know I said I had my top 3 teas but this one is pushing it! LOL very flavorful tea!
Nice soothing green tea blend. Great for when your not feeling too well. Will rebuy!
I received this just as I caught a cold. I have asthma, which always makes it worse when it hits my chest. I really felt like this tea soothed my throat and cough. Sometimes I will cough worse because of a 'tickle' in my throat, and I think that's how this tea helped. It seemed to stop that annoying feeling. I had it plain, no milk or sweetener. It has a very mild, subtle taste, a little minty.
Not bad. I wish the tea was caffeinated as it would be a nice tea to enjoy right before bed. The flavor is very soothing and unenjoyable
This tastes much better than I thought it would! I bought it for the health benefits but appreciated it for the taste as well.
