I know this is polarizing but I loved this as a part of a mix. I use it with hibiscus and lemon grass

lol yes it is very “spinachy”! I love spinach, and I love green tea and can distinguish the two but respect the similarities. The health benefits of moringa do not add any “bad” flavor - for being what it is, I like it!

Well, this cup took me on a bit of a journey and has left me, well, confused. I admit, I began my trip prepared to hate it. All indications from the reviews suggested I would. But the tea in CommuniTEA pouch smelled oddly like...cocoa? But that didn't make sense. Once brewed, the tea's aroma aligned more with expectations, like boiled asparagus. Ick. But the taste was not as strongly grassy or vegetal as I anticipated. Rather, it was almost toasty. This was a pleasant surprise. The concoction was mild but toasty, a little reminiscent of genmai cha. As suggested, I tried adding a little honey. It did bring out some sweetness, but this sweetness seemed to conflict with the subtle vegetal flavors that come out as the tea cooled. These are echoed by a strange tanginess just before such a smooth finish, I could have been drinking water. At journey's end, I knew it wasn't a journey I'd want to take regularly, but...I will admit that I didn't completely hate it. Nor did I reach for the back up cup of tea I had made. This tea smelled very vegetal when I opened the packet. One brewed, it wasn't as strongly vegetal as I expected and slightly sweet, but still not my favorite type of taste.

A bit salty, seaweed like, vegetal with a lemon nuttiness. Not bad, not the first herbal tea I would reach for but will get again for health benefits.

an interesting flavor, indeed... a bit green, a bit smooth, some fruity acidity perceived in there. Not awful, just not something I would reach for without a doctor's recommendation for my health.

As someone who primarily drinks tea for flavor and not the added beneficial properties I just couldn't find much to like here. The flavor was very spinach like, but to me not in a pleasant way as I like spinach both fresh and canned. There was also an earthy sort of flavor that wasn't quite in the realm of pu-erh notes, but was fast approaching that zone. I think it just was too vegetal for me overall and I didn't pick up on any of the nutty notes others have mentioned which is too bad as that may have tipped the scale a little. Maybe it would not be too bad flavored or in blends though. 212° 5 min.

I just joined this communiTEA. I like this moringa tea. It is lighter than some I have had. Little bit on the grassy side but refreshing. Added a bit of honey that enhanced the flavor. Ready for tomorrows tea!

This tastes like I'm drinking warmed up spinach tea.

I didn't really like the smell coming out of the packet, but the final flavor of the brew was grassy and green and I absolutely loved it!

Once this cools down a bit, the grassy taste goes away. The aftertaste is mellow. If youve ever wanted to chow down on freshly cut grass, this is a healthy way to start 🌱 🐄

I know it's full of health benefits, but I am not enamored with moringa. It's too grassy and earthy for my taste buds. This one is not likely to make its way into my cup again.

CommuniTEA sample: 3 min @ 212 F, second infusion for 5 min @ 212 F. This tastes very grassy. But it doesn't taste like a green tea, it doesn't have the same bitterness. It's a little bit herbal, and I found it to have some bright, tart and fresh notes that remind me of citrus, without being so fruity. I like the gentle flavor it has overall, I could enjoy sipping on this!

This tea is so simple and great! I don't really even have words to describe how and why. Its a delicious smooth flavor (especially when I add some fresh basil). Highly recommend if you're looking for a calming tea that has a subtle yet extremely smooth flavor.

Moringa has a slightly grassy, vegetable flavor that's not unpleasant. It pairs well with mint or anise.

Pretty good tea. I got it in the teabags. Might try loose-leaf next time. Overall good grass earthy taste.

This is a very leafy/grassy smelling and tasting herbal. I know that's not everyone's cup of tea, but I find these sorts of flavor profiles comforting, much like walking under fresh green leaves in Spring. It really helps lift the spirits, plus being caffeine free means I can have it at any time of the day. 🍃

Great light chocolatey/nutty flavor at first, then an earthy aftertaste. I like it before bed because there’s no caffeine! bonus points for being good for you

Not necessarily my favorite. It is ok for a cup of tea when I am not wanting something decaf or flavored.

I enjoy this one quite a bit! Very smooth, with no astringency, and just a touch of earth sweetness. It feels soothing and refreshing, with the bonus of zero caffeine.

Moringa in the morning! Moringa in the evening, Moringa at suppertime. When moringa is in your cup, you'll be sipping it all the time!

I blended this with Green Rooibos and Chamomile and it's pretty solid.

Thank you, have a good day

Hands down the best non-caffeinated tea out there. I love earthy flavored tea and this is one of the few I can drink without sugar. Excellent for a cool summer evening!

I enjoy adding this tea to other teas for the medicinal purposes of mornings. I don’t drink it by itself. It has a distinct “earthy” flavor but you barely taste it when you add it to other teas.

I'd never had moringa in any form before. It's a unique buttery and nutty aroma/flavor that's comparable to an extremely toned down peanut butter.

Tastes better than it smells, but it doesn’t smell awful. Can’t quite put my finger on it though. Tastes kinda nutty, and deep. Almost savory

I liked this tea. It tastes better than it smells. The flavor to me was grassy and nutty in equal measures. It wouldn’t be the type to drink all on its own for the flavor but I’m sure it would blend well with other flavors, perhaps something fruity. I would get this tea again, even if just for the health benefits.

I sampled this as part of the CommuniTea box. This one is not for me, too grassy and vegetal for my taste. My cup got passed to my hubby who enjoyed it.

Leaf juice! I like this in a weird medicinal way. I've tried mixing it with other things, but I think it easier by itself and it's so good for you 💚

The description of this tea's flavour profile is pretty accurate. it's mild, earthy, maybe a little nutty? Someone else described it as fresh-mown hay, and that seems spot-on to me. It's just ok to me, though. Not really something I'd reach for before most of other Adagio's teas.

Lovely herbal tea that has good nutrients and is a good addition to other herbal blends. Would not recommend on its own.

So very green when I opened the package that I was actually a little taken aback. It looked freshly cut!
When I brewed it the tea never got dark, but stayed a light golden. I actually checked to see if I was brewing properly. (I was.)
Added just a hint of Tupelo honey.
This was such a lovely cup! What a nice way to start a morning. I would enjoy this even without the added health benefits. It is a nice warm and welcoming taste.
I can't wait to brew some more and try it iced!

Such a great tea after a meal, or right before bed. It's got a flavor similar to a Mate; mild, but has its own distinct flavor. Doesn't really do well past the 2nd infusion, but that first infusion is a revelation.

I did some research on this herb and Im surprised I have not heard of it before. Taste good, good for you, mixes well with other teas and no caffeine. Works for me I well order more and add it to other teas for the helth benefits

What a great tea. It smells and tastes a bit nutty. It smells a bit like spinach, but drinking it with Stevie drops, I didn't taste it. Knowing how healthy it is, I'll be drinking this every week!

I smelled the tea and felt it would taste great with sliced lemon and peppermint leaves. It sure did. I added ice and it was a refreshing evening drink. No caffeine. Apparent there are some health benefits I'm not to sure about. I don't really know what it tastes like on its own but this is the way I'll be drinking it.

I had a small reaction to the moringa tea. I've never been allergic to anything, as far as I know. The sensation I felt was a stinging/prickly feeling in my mouth and throat. The taste is different from anything I've ever tried, but I did enjoy it. I won't be buying again for obvious reasons, but no regrets.

Good quality moringa tea. Excellent health benefits and a great herbal supplement. I like to mix this in with other herbals.

Not a great tasting tea (especially since I like fruity flavors) but I like to mix a little bit in with my daily cup of tea to help a little with my IBS. I'm not sure if its the tea or not but I haven't had a flare up.
