I ordered the tea bags. This smells awful, the way a dishwasher smells when you haven't run it yet. My friend has the Jump Start loose tea and whenever I see her I ask what tea is that it smells so wonderful - they are the same tea yet mine is awful in taste/smell. This is the 2nd variety I purchased as tea bags rather than loose tea that has an issue. Something just isn't right - either the actual tea bags have some sort of chemical on them or the tea inside them is perhaps older/oxidized or something. I may try this variety as a sample in loose tea to compare.

I enjoy this hot and cold. When iced it reminds me of Cinnamon Toast Crunch!

This black tea wasn't bad, but didn't "jump start" my day. It did taste nice, and it's not like any old Lipton tea, but I have just had better.

Tastes great! I was worried it wouldn’t be a tasty tea! Can’t wait to see how well it wakes me up.
Edit: caffeine spike is awesome! Highly recommend

This tea mashup is really well rounded in terms of flavor additions.

Nice way to wake up the taste buds, I enjoy this a few times a week, I think I would tier of it if I had it everyday.

This blend is interesting. Can't really say that much more than that.

Decent flavor and seems to do the job of waking me up.

give me just the right amount of kick I need in the morning

Not my favorite, but not terrible. Would not repurchase.

I liked this, and the name is accurate...a good kick off caffeine to start your day

I wanted to love this. The idea of an extra caffeinated tea was so appealing. Unfortunately, the smell is not so appealing. Honestly, it stinks. I give it 3 stars because I didn’t taste the stinkiness, but the flavor was nothing special.

Excellent to begin a morning with. Full body flavor. Really like it for a afternoon pick me up.

I was pleasantly surprised by this blend. It’s very well balanced, has a deep and satisfying flavor and is the perfect coffee substitute! It certainly does what it says, gives you the jump start you need without the coffee jitters!

I love this tea in the mornings as a replacement for coffee.

Just as described. Perfect to start the day. Great flavor.

At first I was on the fence, but the longer I drank it the more the flavor grew on me. There are some subtleties to it that I really like, especially the cinnamon. Overall a good tea that will join my morning rotation.

We bought more. My husband used to drink energy drinks every day and I started making him this instead. The cacao nibs really help this blend shine.

Wasn't exactly what I expected it was good but not something I would try again

Not a fan of how it tastes but it did its job with caffenation.

nice blend. granted that i am not a big fan of mate teas, but this was mild enough for me to drink and the cocoa nibs blended well with it. it tastes like toasted cocoa bit i still get a very faint but detectable tobacco like flavor at the end. the tobacco is why i am not fond of mate teas. my only caffeine fix usually come from earl greys so i will see how this compares. i just finished the cup and will update the caffeine experience later

Highly caffeinated feeling, I do enjoy a hot cup in the mornings on Mondays like today to give me an extra boost to get through the day.
★★★★☆
Not bad, though I do not think this really gave me the jump start I wanted it to give.

Not exactly what I was expecting. It takes a bit longer for this to kick in, and it's not the 'Jump Start' that I was expecting. It's more like the caffeine fairy follows you around and whenever you feel yourself start to drag she sprinkles her magic dust on you.

This tea tastes like fall. It has the perfect bit of cinnamon spice that reminds me of hot mulled cider without the sweet apple flavor, or the smell when you walk into a country general store. I personally find this tea feels more like a cozy relaxing treat than a 'Jump Start' to my day, however it does have just enough caffeine to get you going. Typically, I associate the slight bitter flavor of a black tea or coffee to morning wake-up beverages, however no matter how long I over-steep this tea, I do not find any bitterness to it. I feel this tea requires a longer steeping time than recommended, and can only be re-steeped twice before it loses its flavor.

Love the flavor, which is unique in my experience (I think owing to the mate).

I was hoping this one would steep a little stronger, so I just added more tea per cup but then I feel like I'm not getting as much for my money. Taste wise, it's delicious and refreshing in place of my morning coffee when I have more time in the morning to prepare it.

Great tea and wonderful flavor! This is one of my go-to morning/afternoon teas. It has a decent amount of caffeine and a nice warm flavor.
