This is now my favorite!!! I have seasonal allergies and do not like taking meds, so this tea helps me breathe well!

★★★★★

Really love the tea, smells wonderful and makes me very relaxed.

★★★★☆

I was not sure what to expect with this one. Its not bad over all. Just not my daily drink.

It’s great that communiTEA includes wellness teas to sample on occasion. Although this is a tea many may drink purposefully I freely admit I’m not one to drink something unpleasant just because it’s “good” for me. I unfortunately do not enjoy minty or herbaceous tea much in general and there are few tastes I dislike more than licorice. I WOULD, however, purchase this in candle or essential oil form for aromatherapy or use the steeping tea itself for steam inhalation as this may have an effect similar to the one intended by drinking.

I do not like licorice, like at all, but you know what I love, breathing easy. I have the worst asthma and struggle daily especially in this humidity, this tea really gave me that nice lungs opening up, easy to breathe, just hit my inhaler feeling, which if you have asthma is one of the best feelings in the universe!!!

This tea was very interesting with the different blends of flavor. It tasted minty mixed with like the flavor of those cinnamon bear gummies with an undertone of citrus. As odd as it seemed I actually enjoyed it. Sweetened it and the flavors really popped.

A delightful minty tea that is great for allergies or colds.

For a medicinal tea it didn't taste medicinal at all! It reminded me of like a slightly minty chamomile tea.

A nice minty aroma when the pouch was opened. A fresh taste on the palette. Nice and enjoyable.

This medicinal blend of herbs was pleasant and refreshing. Not quite as strong of a punch as throat therapy, the mint and eucalyptus really shined through making a great cool sensation that juxtaposed the hot tea.

After a cup of this I can breathe easier thanks to aromatic eucalyptus and peppermint. There’s some natural sweetness that comes from licorice while fennel offers an earthy and grounding flavor. A hint of orange and lemongrass taste are subtle and radiate brightness from the background. Spices cinnamon and ginger are comforting and tummy warming flavors that come through at the finish. The Schisandra berry and Mullein leaf are new to me so their flavors weren’t easy to identify. Maybe they contributed to the earthy flavor.

My CT packet had 3 g/ 2 ½ tsp of what appeared to be all ingredients with a fairly strong eucalyptus aroma. Brewed 12 oz. at 212*F for 5 min. The liquor was golden yellow with some cloudiness from the spices. Although, the main eucalyptus/minty flavor was pleasant to sip, a sweetener add of agave elevated the flavor deliciously. A resteep was milder and chilled, this made a surprisingly tasty cold tea. This healthy feel good blend clears the airways well, has a wonderful relaxing effect and a very nice minty taste.

Minty, with hints of licorice and ginger. Adding honey brought out the citrus flavors a little more, but the tea doesn't really need it, unless you're looking to soothe a sore throat. A relaxing tea best enjoyed hot.

Nope...sorry...too medicinal for me...taste like something you might get if you're sick and stranded on some far off distant land away from civilization with some tribal medicine man watching over you.

This medicinal brew is a bit of a puzzlement. On opening the pouch, the aroma reminds me of baked goods at Christmas. My first few sips made me cringe. As it cools, it improves. There's a muddled spicy taste from the cinnamon and licorice on the forefront, but the mint comes through on the end and leaves a freshness in the mouth. As healthful teas go, this one isn't too bad, and it did seem to help clear a tickle in the back of my throat. (5 minutes @ 212F)

For a medicinal tea, this one was quite nummy. I mainly tasted mint with a light touch of fennel and general earthy herbal. Was surprised to not pick-up on citrus from the orange, but I also had the tea straight. Maybe sweetener is needed to bring out the citrus flavor?

I wanted to LOVE todays communiTEA, but the licorice and fennel were a little too strong for me. I still thought it was good. I wish there was more mint present in the flavor.

I enjoyed this medicinal tea with a smidgen of agave nectar to smooth out all the mint, licorice, eucalyptus, and what not. I will definitely seek out my free sample bag of this the next time I have a respiratory problem. I steeped at 212 degrees for 5 minutes.

This is a tea that I probably wouldn’t have purchased mainly because of the spearmint and eucalyptus flavors in it, but this tea has been so well blended that everything works together great! I’m not congested and I don’t have sinus issues regularly but I swear that when I took the first sip, my sinuses seemed to open even more. It was incredible! I’m sure it would be great for a sore or irritated throat too. This is one of the many reasons I’m glad to be a part of the CommuniTea because it gives me the opportunity to try such a wide variety of teas. I think I will get a pouch of this to keep in my cupboard for times when I’m a little stuffy. I highly recommend giving this a try.

This is like minty broth. The licorice gives me a savory taste. I don't usually go for licorice. I sampled this tea as part of the CommuniTea August 2022 box.

Perfect day to try this blend as my allergies were in full force this morning. The aroma, while dry, was quite strong. I only intended to steep for five minutes, but unfortunately things happened and it sat for 30. Thinking it ruined I took a sip expecting it to be terrible, I was wrong. It was strong, but still very drinkable. If I was needing help with sinus or respiratory support, this is one I would look for in my cabinet. Bright and minty, with an earthy herbal undertone. Nice blend for bedtime, even if you weren’t looking for the extra health benefits.

Pretty tasty for a feel good tea. Mildly minty with a nice sweetness from the licorice. A very nice drink during smokey season!

I was dreading this one in the CommuniTEA lineup as, to fully admit bias, i don't like peppermint or licorice. So, for those with similar preferences, this tea can still be enjoyed with a little extra helping or three of honey. It helps to dull the peppermint into a simple tongue coolness, lessens the taste, and evens it out. You still get all the benefits of the tea, minus some of that peppermint blast.

Bright eucalyptus and mint are pleasantly forward in this blend, smoothed over by mild licorice and fennel. The flavor is similar to throat therapy, but this is a milder take.

Peppermint and ginger are such a strange combo to me, cold and spicy flavors. It's herbal and medicinal but still very drinkable. Good for relaxation and chilling out

Not an everyday tea for me but I can see how the strong eucalyptus and mint taste would be a lifesaver during allergy season. Feels like a tasty cough drop, in a good way.

For a medicinal tea, this was pretty tasty. There are so many ingredients, no single one stands out. This would be a good tea to have on hand for when you need it.

CommuniTEA portion: Brewed as directed. Most definitely herbal and the amount of different ingredients made me nervous. But this one is a winner. I'm a lover of mint but the citrus also rounded this out well. I know there are a bunch of other good things in there but it really tastes great! Definitely will have this on hand for the coming seasons.

I was so excited to try this tea today and it did not disappoint! I used a tea called 'throat coat' for years for not only throat issues but also to soothe an ulcer I had at the time. This tea is very similar. From the moment I opened the package and smelled the aroma I was comforted. I tried a bit hot and it was soothing and delicious. I do tend to drink my teas over ice in the summer and some of the fennel notes were lessened by the ice but the tea was still minty and delicious. I didn't need any sweetener. This will be a future purchase for sure!

I enjoyed the aroma of this tea blend, however, I couldn't appreciate the taste at all. The anise was too overpowering and it was just medicinal. Glad I don't need this one!

For a medicinal type cup, this wasn’t bad. I get strong eucalyptus, mint, fennel, and cinnamon notes. I drank it iced, so it was really cooling. I wouldn’t drink it often, but it would be soothing for congestion or runny nose. Sip, sip away!

This is a 'kitchen sink' kind of tea. It has everything in it,but the kitchen sink. Flavors of citrus, licorice, and spices are followed by a cool mint. It is unique!

I'll imbibe a medicinal, herbal, caffiene-free tea, gladly, anytime! I'm a huge fan of utilizing Mullein for respiratory issues, so I was delighted to see it in the mix. This blend is a beaute. Enjoyed this in the CommuniTEA and def will add to my tea stash!

I don’t know what the rest of the ingredients do, but the peppermint and eucalyptus are primarily responsible for the tea’s smell, taste, and sinus-clearing abilities (while you drink it). I don’t know about any long-term effects. I do know that it makes a tasty cup of tea.

I have asthma and breathing issues and this is an amazing tea. Back in the day they would tell you to put a tower over your head and a cup of coffee and breathe in the caffeine fumes. I like this much better.

There is a minty aroma coming from the CommuniTEA packet, and this steeps into a cloudy golden yellow. The mint is the star of this tea, and thankfully the other spices are able to outshine the fennel and licorice (which are not my favorites). Adding 1/4 teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz) allows the orange flavor to appear in the background. Lovely tasting tea, and since it is a help to the lungs, this is a great tea to have on hand. (5 mins @ 200ºF + sweetener).
