A nice soothing cup of chamomile tea with strong mint tones. After a h3cric day, this was nice to sip to unwind and get ready for bed, especially since chamomile teas are a favorite.

With chamomile and valerian, this tea will do the job! However, the flavor profile is not for me… the valerian is very overpowering.

tea doesn't normally make me sleepy, even when it comes to sleepytime blends, but the taste on this is pretty good! very soothing

In the CT packet, I mostly smell chamomile. I brewed at 205 for 5 minutes.

On sipping, I get mostly chamomile and the distinct slightly “herbal-stinky” valerian, followed by a very slight hint of mint and an aftertaste of the lemon balm (both of which I wish were a bit more prominent). Not too much lavender is noted. Overall not a bad blend though I think it could be balanced a little better.

★★★★☆

This a good tea, this is a sleepy tea you can taste spearmint, chamomile, Lavender .

Very nice; brewing it I was worried the mint might be overpowering but once it had settled for a moment the mint blended well with the rest of the flavors. Added a sugar and a dash of milk, and am drinking with a peanut butter cookie.

★★★☆☆

A heavily earthy tea with strong mint currents in it. If you enjoy mint and valerian, you'll love this tea. I didn't notice any effects to helping with sleep, or causing drowsiness, so your mileage may vary.

The first flavor is overwhelmingly chamomile, which then changes to spearmint. It is a soothing, calming tea that helps me unwind in the evening.

I have upped this to five stars as I purchased a large tin of it and it is my nightly cup of tea now. Works like a dream.

40 winks is a soothing herbal blend that helps relax!

The first taste detected was kind of woody, which grows on you. The spearmint is nice. The tea is relaxing.

In the bag: Plenty of chamomile buds, cornflowers, and finely chopped mint. Blue, yellow, and pale green combine into a summery palate. Honeybush is here as well, but it's buried under everything else. There is much more chamomile in my packet than the Adagio photography suggests.

On the nose (pre-steep): An odd yet intriguing combination of flavors. I detect mint, chamomile, and perhaps a touch of lavender. It gives a minty floral impression, as if someone had planted spearmint in a flower garden.

On the nose (post-steep): Scent is similar to pre-steep except that the mint is weaker. This flavor is chamomile-forward. Slightly sweet.

On the tongue: It's hard to taste much beyond the chamomile. I'm beginning to suspect that my packet included more of this flower than it was supposed to.

Opinion: A decent tea, though not to my taste. I'm not a fan of chamomile on its own. As far as the version I received is concerned, fans of this flower would adore it. I suspect the blend was intended to offer more, however.

Preparation: 7 min @ 212 ℉. I didn't add sweetener because the liquor was naturally sweet and I didn't want to turn it into a syrup

This tea is lovely!!! The blend of mint, chamomile, lavender, valerian root and honeybush tea is calming and delicious! My new fitness tracker tells me my sleep pattern is pure crap...so, guess what I'm ordering right now? Tasty tea and better sleep -- sounds like a great combo!
11/12/2021 - well, the tea tastes lovely, but I discovered I'm allergic to chamomile so gave this tea to a friend, who loves it! Great tea. Wish I could still drink it. For those who need just an extra calm to sleep well, this tea is awesome. Just not for me.
12/24/2022 - still a hard nope. I can't have chamomile.

This tastes like a slightly minty camomile. I don't like camomile so it's not my jam.

Not usually a fan of valerian root, but its scent is not overpowering here! This tea helps me sleep well.

I love this tea! It’s delicious and relaxing! It does smell a bit of valerian before it’s brewed, but once it’s prepared it isn’t really noticeable. I should order this again.

Valerian root tastes unpleasant imho, but in this herbal mix it is well “hidden”;
Stippling and sipping gives me a relaxing night routine.
Thumbs up
Update: I bought a 16 oz bag, but this time something is wrong with the tea: it gave me so much stomach pain!!! I’m in fetal position, pain is bearable but I cannot sleep with it.
My point is don’t buy a big bag!

I'm not really a fan, unfortunately. It didn't taste too good to me, and I think that maybe for me the proportion that was Valerian was a bit too high?

My niece got me started on Adagio teas, so finally gave it a try. This is the first one I chose to try. I slept like a baby!

This is a nice one! The valerian smell is a little strong, but if you can accept that, it's good!

The first time I drank a cup of this, I think that my body didn't know what to do with it. I didn't feel sleepy at all. But the second time I drank this, WOW. Within 15 minutes, I was knocked out. I slept the full night and didn't wake up once.

Very much enjoyed this one as my late night cuppa. Balanced and relaxing. It is aromatherapy in a cup.

I started with a sample and have just reordered. This is a great tea for before bed. It’s soothing, and the spearmint isn’t strong at all. If you haven’t tried Valerian, I recommend this tea to start.

This was my first time trying valerian, and I'm pleased with how well it helps me sleep. The smell and taste is slightly medicinal, but it knocks me out which is a plus.

I was worried when I opened this tea because the smell was quite strong. But once brewed, it tamed. Tastes very much like a chamomile tea. It is smooth and relaxes. I don’t really taste spearmint.. heavy on the chamomile. But, it promotes sleep. I enjoy it.
