PURE RELATION!!! This tea mix is amazing, no wonder the name is 40 winks. After spending a couple of sleepless nights, I remembered I had this tea, when I drank it right before going to bed it really helped me relax and fall asleep.

★★★★☆

Calming and variety of flavors that go well together. Not what I expected but definitely enjoy every once in awhile.

As someone who has struggled with insomnia thier whole life I have tried nearly every sleep promoting tea on the market. (At least it feels that way.) This one I am happy to say is my favorite. It is very relaxing and decently effective in promoting a good night sleep while managing to not taist to medical. The flavor is predominantly camomile with refreshing spearmint and soothing fruit notes.

I am loving this. Most of the teas I drink have a lot of caffeine. But I also love a good cup of tea before bed. This is lovely! The flavor is strong enough to suit my taste, but really does feel like bedtime. A nice, cozy treat.
6.28 I have added this to my nightly routine and I actually think it is helping me let go of my day. Thanks.

I was very skeptical about this tea because of some of the ingredients, but I really enjoyed it. It was nicely sweet which made it the perfect before bed drink.

First time in my life that it has been easy to go to sleep, I need this on repeat. Brewed with just a few drops of honey, I take it to bed with me. If I wake in the night, the cup still has a very pleasant aroma.

Very relaxing and tasty tea. Great way to unwind at the end of the day.

Absolutely delightful nighttime tea. Mellow and soothing just as the name implies. I enjoy a cup after dinner both because it’s relaxing and a digestive aid.

I really like this mild tea. It is super relaxing and enjoyable before bed. Sometimes it's nice to not rely on melatonin to help put you to sleep and this seems to do the job.

It’s a good tea somewhat relaxing blend. Added a bit of spearmint oil. It makes it delicious!

This tea does not taste very good, it does help you sleep though. So If you are wanting a tea that helps you sleep at night and you don't care about the taste then this is for you. If you want both then I would look for a different tea.

Works so well! I add a cinnamon stick to help cover up the valerian smell and in 20 minutes I'm out. One of the only things that helps my husband's insomnia as well.

This one smells like a pine tree to me. I ended ip trying this tea because I struggle to sleep. I think it works or rather I’d like to think it does work. Regardless it’s a good tea , highly recommend this one.

This is a tea is amazing, score 10/10. I buy monthly, it’s my night time cure to sleep like a baby. I have fallen asleep mid cup. It works wonders, Zzz.

Lovely tea for winding down before bed. Even my partner loves it, and he’s typically not a tea fan! The tea is delicious with a great spearmint flavor under it all and mixes fantastically with a little bit of honey. I actually find myself adding a bit of extra valerian root to it, but that's just to enhance the effects.

The first time I had this tea with CT I planned to go lay down and write a review. I ended up falling asleep before writing the review. The flavor in this tea is a nice spearmint. This is a good sleepy time tea.

if you need a small boost to get you asleep, try this. I had to stop taking all my sleeping aids for health reasons, so I tried 40 winks, and to my surprise it really helped me fall asleep. Paired with the raw herbal honey and it was the perfect bedtime treat.

★★★★☆

Neither chamomile nor valerian root are a favorite of mine. It did do its job to help me sleep though.

Sent me some dreams for the first time in, uh, awhile. Interesting herbal flavor, strong root taste from the valerian but I like it. Can’t drink it all the time though.

This tea was a great way to transition into daylight savings time. It's a tummy warmer and soothing with favorite flavors spearmint and lavender. A chorus of other herbs added to the well rounded blend to give 40 Winks a unique and tasty flavor that melded minty, floral, earthy, citrus and sweet flavors so well. My CT packet had all ingredients with a main spearmint/lavender scent and taste. The other herbs chimed in from the background.

My packet had 3 g/ 3 ½ tsp. of fluffy looking tea with bright blue cornflowers and red fruity pieces to brighten the sage colored mix of herbs and flowers. Brewed at 212*F for 10 min. In a 12 oz. mug. Could sip plain as the honeybush came through with some natural sweetness but a bit of agave heightened all flavors and a pleasant lemongrass flavor came forward more. Enjoyed a 6 oz. resteep that was more minty. Truly a relaxing cup. Glad to give it 5 stars and 40 winks!

This is a great sleepy time tea. A gentle bedtime relaxer. Definitely will be putting this on my wish list.

Strongly smells of mint with some lavender. The main flavors are the chamomile and spearmint. The tea does not have a strong lavender taste to it, but the scent is noticeable enough to be relaxing. I added some honey which seemed to tone down the mint slightly. Best when hot.

★☆☆☆☆

I taste mostly lavender when brewed hot. Not the most pleasant tea.

A fascinating blend of soothing herbs my first thought was, this tea tastes and smells like a hippie shop, incense and herbs! It grew on me, kinda a fun nostalgic flavor. We'll see how I sleep tonight!

Relaxation is at the essence of this blend! It has a lovely aroma of chamomile, spearmint, lavender, and lemon balm. The earthy taste of valerian root is present, but the other flavors mellow it out so it isn't as strong. This is the perfect tea to enjoy at the end of a long day!

The smell of this is definitely different, but I enjoyed the taste. It's herbaceous and a little floral from the chamomile and lavender. And I definitely felt the relaxing effects right away.

I brewed and started drinking this in the morning before I realized that it was a bedtime tea. I wish I’d saved it for tonight! Anyway, it was pleasant enough. Didn’t wow me, but it did seem calming.

★★★☆☆

I get a strange mouth taste with this one, must be the valerian root, not a fan at all, I much prefer Nighty Night if I need this type of sleep aid, I will not be buying this one anytime soon.

This just wasn't for me, it's a bit too medicinal for my taste buds. I brewed for 5 minutes, and all I am
getting is the chamomile and the spearmint. I'm thinking the odd smell is from the valerian root. I do not taste any honeybush, unfortunately. However, if this actually puts me to sleep, I will add 3 stars!

UPDATED: It's a cosy tea still, but it's not quite hitting the spot for me like it did before. I think I'm comparing it to the Slumbering Sloth tea, which I very much enjoy. I like the flavour profile of that one better, but this would still be a good backup sleepytime tea.

Cosy and comfy all at once. It's a very relaxing blend, and I enjoyed it during the day, but it would be a perfect nightcap as well.
