I'm not sure that I am a fan of how they open, but I probably just need to use them more often.

Seem to be pretty sturdy. Even though Adiago sells tins cheaper than most places they still seem expensive.
I like the clear lids so I can tell whats inside easily
These are perfect for storing my loose leaf teas in. I have 2 and I just ordered 3 more so I can store my loose leaf teas in my desk at work.
I like that I can see the tea through the lid but it's still UV-blocking to preserve the freshness of my tea. I also love how well the tins seal and how easy they are to measure tea out of.
I took advantage of the free tin promotion and am happy with the quality. Just wish they were bigger!
These small tins allow me to keep a daily quantity next to my teapot and store the rest.

I just ordered some tins for my tea collection today. When I first discovered Adagio several years ago from hearing Kevin Rose talk about the site on Diggnation, the tins came with the tea at no extra cost. Now they are 3/$9. I feel like Adagio should listen to the complaints and constructive criticism from their loyal customers should go back to this, even if the price for the tea is a little higher. I just resent the having to pay extra for something that used to be free. Other then that, great company. /endrant.
I love Adagio tins and keep reusing them - they stack well on top of each other, which saves a lot of space.
Nice, simple tea storage tins–that allow you to enjoy the tea visually as well. What else do you need?
These tins look nice and keep loose tea fresh and assessable.
Didn't originally think these would be cool, but I saw some in person and quickly changed my mind. While I'm not enthusiastic about the choice (or lack thereof) of graphic, the tins themselves are made well and the size and proportions are spot on.
I understand that Adagio tea was shipped in these tins before, without additional cost, and I lament the fact that this is no longer the case. For quality tea such as Adagio's, it should come in a quality container. For this reason, despite my actual pleasure with this product, I rated it much poorer than I would have.
The tins are wonderful! As is the case with so many other reviewers, I am sad to see that the teas no longer come in the tins, but because of rising costs and environmental concerns I can understand why Adagio migrated to packaging in resealable bags. The tins are very nice and sturdy, they hold a surprising amount of tea for their size and seal well. No complaints at all about the tins themselves, only that they aren't free.
I love how cute and convenient these tins are! And they are stackable, which is even better! They are the perfect size for fitting my tea.
Love them! Easy to maneuver. Enough room to fit just over 3 ounces. The hard plastic top is allows one to get a good look at the tea, thus adding to the visual sensation of the tea experience. I found the seal to be very good and, thus, expect the freshness to last much longer than keeping it in the 'bag'. Furthermore, and this is hugely important to me, the design allows the cannisters to stack nicely. I will probably wind up with a good cupboard of these tins as I plan to purchase several more.
These tins are nice. They are a good size, but I'm not sure if I want to write on the labels permanently so that I can use them for different teas in the future.
I've used 4 oz and 8 oz tins before to store my teas in arms reach, and then refill them from the 16oz bags when they go empty. Can't go wrong with tins.
LOVE these!! They are perfect... I can write the name of the tea on the erasable label.. and it keeps the tea sooo fresh! They are cute too!
I really like these. I just cut out the name and instructions from the bag and used tape to attach it to the tin. This way I have the instrutions as well. Very nice!
The tins were smaller than I expected but of the same quality as the tin I had already purchased.

What the frak. I have to pay for these! I've been tossing them for years cuz i had a butt load and now I have to PAY. Bs.
I wish our 2 oz. purchases came in these. They're wonderful. I can pack a new tea and throw it in my bag for my office and I don't have to worry about keeping it in a drawer because the UV filter lid allows me to see which tea I'm grabbing, but protects my tea from further oxidation. Love them.
These tins are very handy, stackable and I like how you can look at the contents inside with the UV-blocking clear top.
My only concern however is about how air-tight they are. I also store coffee in these tins and am accustomed to the positive pressure that builds up when I open a glass canning jar of fresh coffee. This does not happen with these jars, which makes me wonder how tight the seal is.

I love these tins and plan to order more. I like them better than resealable bags. With the tins, I'm sure my tea is enclosed in an air-tight container and they stack well!
Great tins. Wish that they came in smaller sizes too.
I put my tea in here and then drink it. You could also put your weed in here. They're small, effective, and look nice on the countertop (you should probably hide them if you put weed in them though).
Wish more sizes were offered. I like being able to erase and write in which tea I have though as I normally swap them around once I finish with one.
This are very handy, I will love to have them on bigger size like before and yes free like they was before, but hey everyone is struggling on this economy, love the lid (you can not misplace it) keeps tea super fresh.
These are cute little tins that hold exactly one medium-sized bag of loose tea. These were a great help in reorganizing my tea collection, and I appreciate the little area where I can write in what sort of tea is inside.
The tins themselves are nice and seem to be of good quality, but it would be nice to be able to order teas in tins instead of having to order the tins separately. I'd be happy with having a tea-in-tin option in addition to the bagged options.
These are great, for labels I just cut them off the package and size them so that scotch tape covers them then I center them on the label area and voila, nicely labeled teas. I am disappointed though that Adagio is not giving us the tins, I would even love to have one of the small green ones that they send with samples, my friend Aaron has one. It would be nice if Adagio would reciprocate by sending me one or two of those tins since I made a large purchase in the past two days...
The tins are very nice. They will hold approximately 2 or 3 ounces of tea which is how I purchase most of my teas from Adagio. They are very sturdy and the closure works well.
The tins are stackable and keep my tea fresh. A lot less messier than plastic zip bags.
I love these little tins. They seal tightly and fit together well for stacking.
The bins hold the scent of the tea it was holding so they can't be switch around to hold different teas

While I'm disappointed that these no longer come with the teas, that's not what this review is about. The tins themselves are lightweight, sturdy, and the lids fit snugly, keeping the tea fresh and great-tasting.
I really like these tins. I got them since Adagio started going to the re-sealable bags (which I'm not a fan of at all!) The only thing I wish came with these tins, or the bags of tea are some stickers with the name of the tea, steeping time etc etc. I don't have a vast amount of teas so I am able to remember which is which, and how long to steep, but that would be the only thing I would like as I do like to re-use these and don't want to write on them.
These are really nice. I use them for making all my blends.
I love the Adiago tins. They stack nicely and I like seeing the tea through the lid. They close nice and securely, and they are easy to spoon the tea from.
I had no containers for storing tea so I purchased these. Tea definitely loses flavor when stored improperly and these were very convenient. Not to mention, they were not really more expensive then regular Tupperware so might as well.
Very useful and handy! Keeps my tea fresh for a long time, and they're easy to open and seal.
I got these with my first order of loose tea simply because I didn't do much research for other containers. They are kind of expensive compared to what else is available and the latches on the 3 I received have all bent within 3 months and now won't shut properly.
prefect size and the lids are UV protected, they are easy air tight locking lids.
Not as high of a quality as expected, but nice looking.
I love these tins. They are so easy to use. I like that the lids are both clear and UV resistant.
