These tins are great. Lots of people complain about how Adagio used to include one of these tins when you purchased tea, but even if you have to buy them separately now I can say they are worth it. The tins stack well and the clear lid lets you see inside without opening it up. I like these tins so much better than the tins from 'eavana tay.' Great job, Adagio.

I thought they would be better. they are kind of cheap and not really to my liking at all. They are usable and in that respect OK.
The perfect size for new teas you are trying. I add a label so I know what's what at a glance.

I really love these tins: I like that they stack, I like that they have clear but UV protected lids. I like that they come in pretty colors. I like to cut off the pretty labels from the 3oz bags and attach them with tape to whatever tins match the label color the best. It makes such a pretty collage on the counter. I have them in two colors so far, but I will be getting the other two colors soon. I have that much tea...
The size is nice, as are the clear lids. It turns out that they are about 1 mm too tall to fit in the drawer I intended to put them in, but I have other drawers, so that's not a big deal. The lids of two of them had a shallow crack upon delivery, but so long as they don't enlarge (which I don't think they will) I don't mind.
Add me to the list of people who miss the days when one of these came free with every tea. I wish they'd do something where you get a tin the first time you buy a certain tea, then the bags every time after that. Oh well. At least they're not charging a huge amount for them.
Handy little tins, sturdy enough and complete my tea collection at work. The best feature is not the color (it is bright blue and cute) but the fact that you can write and re-write on the lid so you always know what tea each tin contains without the hassle of labels.
Functional and attractive. Two tins can be easily stacked together, but they may be less stable if you attempt to stack several together. There is enough space to adequately store a decent amount of tea without breaking the leaves.
extra storage!!! i'm so tired of keeping my tea in bags.

The metal fasteners are a tiny bit less sturdy than I'd like but as the tins are inexpensive, this isn't a big deal. They stack nicely, and I do appreciate being able to tell what is in each tin at a glance. I will very likely buy another set when the green becomes available (matches my kitchen better!)
Like many long-term Adagio customers, I was disappointed a few years back when they stopped using the tins by default and forced us to pay for them separately. Having said that, I finally bought some of these tins, in both sizes, and I don't regret it. The lids have a silicone seal that keeps them airtight, and since they're clear, it's easy to identify your tea at a glance. The lids are also UV-blocking, so I don't have to hide them in a dark cupboard or find a cover for them. And, while they're more about function than appearance, they look quite nice - you'll like having these on the counter. An unexpected bonus: the 4oz tins are stack-able. For what it's worth, I'd love to see different color options, and I'd really love to see some of the old designs they used to use when their teas came in these tins automatically. Please consider making that an option, Adagio -- I'd pay extra to get my tea in a nicely designed, labelled tin.
Perfect size, long lasting. The latch has never wore out and you can see the tea inside very clearly.
These tins work well. They stack, they hold tea effortlessly, and they even let you give your fancy tinned tea a little peek from the clear top. I usually cut out the bag label and tape it to the side for more arty label-viewing purposes, but you can also write (in erasable pencil) on the tin itself within a (tiny) space labeled 'contents,' if you like. I'd buy more if they were a little cheaper, but then, that's just the ardent deal-seeker in me talking. Quiet, frugal spender. :p

I do wish I lived in an era when delicious teas came packaged in these lovely little tins. I am glad to have them. I keep one at the office for a rainy day. As it is I'll have to save up to get a few different colors to match the hodge-podge of my kitchen decor.
I really think these should be included in 3 oz purchases and up. But, solid tins. I wish they were light proof though is my only criticism.
These are so cute! I especially love the see-through lid. The blue is such a pretty color, too. The clasps seemed kinda flimsy at first, but they are holding up just fine.

I purchased these in sky. The color is nice and vibrant. These are the perfect size for the teas that I order. The clasp is great. Much easier and more convenient than having to open the bags. They also stack which is great. As my collection of teas grow I will probably order more of these!
These are super nice tins for the price. They are made very well.
Conveniently sized, priced and designed. I love knowing that the lids are on tight, and being able to see the tea has so many benefits: what's in there? how much is left? Do I need to order more? These are the best tea tins I've used, AND THEY STACK. These are my new goto tins. I plan to order another 20 or so for all my different teas :)
It would be nice if they came with the tea purchase, however given the price of other tins, these aren't that bad of a purchase. I especially love the clasps and clear UV protection tops because I always cut out the label and place it inside the top, so I won't have to write on the tin itself.

Nice, solid tins for keeping tea stored well, and easily accessible. If I could get larger tins, I would, but the tins are just the right size for what I order.

Really cute tins, great value and price for 3 tins. However was disappointed when items arrived...due to damage incurred during shipping. Sent back damaged item for exchange, hoping for better luck with next shipment.
I absolutely love these tins. Since I finally gave in to my growing obsession with tea, I've been collecting all kinds of tins and jars, etc to keep my loose leaf teas in, and so far these are definitely my favorite that (as well as the larger versions). They seal very securely and they actually do stack on top of each other quite well, making for easy storage even though they do tend to be wider than most dedicated tea tins I see.
excellent quality, and look great. i use post-it tape to label what is in them, works great and does not leave a residue. i like the original, very professional looking, and i don't mind advertising my favorite place for tea, in fact it just tells my friends that this place is that good, because i try to not wear or have any advertising merch.
A nice handy way to store my tea in an air tight container with a way to see the tea, a nice treat inside and they stack beautifully!
So far they seem like they work fantastic. They seal well and stack quite nicely on top of each other. The tops are rounded and that helps them to stay on top of each other. They should come in more colors or designs though! That would be awesome.
I have always liked these tins for tea storage, because they seem to seal better than many others, and keep out moisture and off-flavors. I do find them a bit pricey.

Good tins overall, but I wish they could stack with more stability. They feel very unsteady on top of one another. But they have a good seal. Also wish they came in more than one style
Tins are well made and hold the tea air tight.
Actually the tins itself are more or less Ok, but arrived in a bad condition (there was a HOLE in a box!). And since they're made of a very thin material, they were damaged (some color scrapes dents). So one could say I'm not happy after all.
Tins are okay quality but I don't think they are exactly worth the price there sold for.
