Love them when they are new, the problem with time the attachment breaks.

I wanted to like these tins. I knew these were the old packaging and I wished they continued to sell them in the tins, but I am so glad they don't anymore. I bought these in December and I have tea every day. Just before the new year the plastic knob where the metal clasp would lock the tin broke. I was never rough with the tins nor did I ever dropped them. Not even in the sink as I was washing them.

Price wise, they were relatively cheap, though I wouldn't want to pay for something that might break from daily use. Invest the extra cash for a decent container to house your teas.

These are the perfect size, airtight and keep the tea leaves fresh and dry.

These are good tins and easy to stack. The one improvement I would make would be a way to label them easily; for now, I cut the tea name and details out of the package they are received in and just lay that across the top of the tea before closing the lid - it works but is a bit of a nuisance.

Cute and efficient, keeps a tight seal so my tea stays fresh. Can't ask for more.

these will be perfect for my husband and I to take tea to work with us! They are bigger then I expected.

The colors are great, and the clear lids let you see your tea easily. I do wish they had a good way to label them, though -- I have been cutting the bag apart and taping the identifying info to the bottom of each tin.

Got these to have something more appropriate for displaying tea than the resealable bags the tea comes in. I haven't tested to see if they are water proof, which would help identify it is air sealed, but there is a gasket and the locking mechanism appears to seal tightly.

I got blue and green this time, and am very happy with how they look. I will likely get some other colors with the next order.

The size is perfect for the size above 'sample' in the shop, eg. the 3oz Irish Breakfast.

My one complaint is the top is transparent and light doesn't agree with tea. I am looking at making some circular labels to attach inside the lid. I will use card stock and hopefully block most of the light while also making for an attractive label. It would be nice if there was a lip to catch the label and maybe some printable material on the site for making the labels.

I love these. At first I didn't realize they stacked until I saw a review regarding that. It saves so much space in my cupboard.

Used to come with the tea, but I didn't mind buying them. Now I have them and I used my labeler to mark each one and store the tea nicely. Stack beautifully in my cupboard.

I was a tad skeptical about buying the smaller tins, due to thinking that they might be too small to be practical for a lot of the loose leaf I buy. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised with the result! One of these tins holds about three of adagio's 'sample' sizes within them. And a full standard bag of loose leaf I buy at my local Asian market. The tin itself is also very well made, the metal is sturdy and lightweight, and the lids are durable, and easy to open and close even within bad joints like I have. I also dropped one shortly after filling and closing the lid and it stayed on securely despite falling onto a ceramic tile floor!

Best part about these apart from the excellent seal is the fact that they stack perfectly. I've completely switched from the other fancier Pyrex containers to storing all of my selections in these. Plus, with the latch they travel very well.

These work well for the teas I have in small volume. The seal is secure, they are easy to open, and I enjoy the happy colors.

This is the perfect size for each batch I buy. It's easy to open and close and I can see what type of tea I have in it.

These are the best! They keep your tea nice and fresh and they are so cute.

these tins were super cute and I don't like leaving my tea loose, so I decided to get a set. at first they were awesome, and served their purpose perfectly. but after very little use, less,than a month, two of them were rendered useless with the plastic latch broke off. they weren't dropped or treated roughtly, they simply fell off when I tried to close the can.
I'm very disappointed.

I got these tins after a mishap with a box of tea spilling all over the floor at work. I didn't want to lose a half tin of tea again! These hold great, I just wish I could put the label of the tea on it somehow.

Just got my tins in today. They are beautiful and the colors are bright. I am a bit hesitant on the lids as they are made of plastic. I hope they hold up. If they do well, this is easily a 5 star product. We will see!

Great way to store my teas. Much more convenient than using the bags the teas come in. I have had mine for about 6 months and have not had any problems.

I read a lot of the other reviews before purchasing these and was somewhat nervous they'd break on me. Admittedly, I just got them and I can tell they're not the strongest material but as long as you handle them responsibly I see no reason they shouldn't last. LOVE the color.

Review on Adagio, or their manufacturer. Ordered blue, for a Christmas present. Box said blue, happened to open the box and the tins were yellow. So glad I opened it! Return didn't make it in time for Christmas so it turns into a birthday present I guess.

Easy way to store and use my tea, and look great in the kitchen.

ordered 3 in blue and I'm about to order 3 more in another color. No problem at all with cracking. It's completely airtight which is what I wanted. Other reviews who said their's cracked was probably because of the type of tea. I use these for green and black tea and they are awesome. Teavana had airtight containers which I loved but were discontinued because of issues with certain types of tea. Teavana's new containers are useless because they aren't airtight.

These are the cutest little things. They hold a good volume of tea, and with the clear top I can usually pick out which tea it is. The only thing that could make these better is if they came with little peelable tags so that I can label them, which would make storing my tea even easier.

I ordered these in 3 colors since I have so many favorite teas from Adagio now. The lids are a bit on the flimsy side but I am just careful when I use them. So far, so good. I do have them stacked 3 high and have no problems with them. You can fit a 3 oz. Size bag of tea in the small ones! It doesn't t look like it will fit but it does. Nice way to get rid of the bulky bags and brighten up the counter also!

Absolutely love my two sets of 4 oz tins! They hold a full bag at a time and stack beautifully in my cupboards! I simply cut out the label from the bag that has the directions and contents listed and tape it to the tin and fill it up and stack them and then can easily grab which ever I need and no mess and no difficulties like when the bag is getting empty and hard to reach the last of the tea leaves! I love the tins! They are a reasonable price as well!

These are the greatest Soul canisters I've ever had 40.

Handy size, easy to store. well made. good seal. Helpful transparent lid. But if you drop one, there is a high chance the lid will crack.

Really cute tins! I wish they came with labels, but that's an easy fix. I love that they stack on top of each other.
