the perfect height for steeping longa** teas like taipinghoukui. easy to clean and beautiful to watch as teas steep. also love that the sieve goes all the way round the lid

I love how you can steep the leaves freely in the pot. The strainer in the lid is so convenient, do not need a strainer. Just ordered another one. I have three!

Favorite way to brew a brisk cup of tea! Please keep this in stock (they do break occasionally.)

I use this every morning for my CommuniTea! It makes about 3 small cups and about one and a half regular sized mugs. It is easy to clean and store!

I can't say enough about this amazing little teapot. It has been my favorite since I first tried it. It's my go to when I want to cold brew a single cup of tea, instead of a large pitcher. I was so glad to see it back in stock so I could get a 'back up'. I'm always afraid I will break it, even though it's very strong borosilicate glass.

I use this teapot everyday! The metal top does get a little hot, but otherwise it’s great. Highly recommend!

Update - so this one is pretty fragile too I guess as I got a second and it broke. It’s still my favorite infuser.

I use it every day more than once with different teas and it's much easier to clean than my old glass teapot/infuser which broke.

Can't really rate it properly as it arrived broken & so far Adagio has been less than helpful, which is a shame as they're normally so good. I emailed them twice, the first one got the reply of 'sign in & go to claims', the 2nd email got no response at all. I'd just like a replacement one sent to me, is that really so difficult?

Wanted to change from a plastic gravity brewer to a glass one. I could not be happier. Brews the perfect size cup for me. I highly recommend

i love this teapot. i read another review that said small particles slipped through the strainer have not had that problem on any of my teas, but i do use high grade tea.
my problem and why not 5 stars is that i usually brew 2 pots and tea sticks to the top cover when pouring, so when i make the second pot, i have to manually remove the tea leaves, so they go into the glass part of the brewer

I like this cup. It's not great for the fine teas like rooibos but its works very good for most of all the others. It's especially good for watching the teas with rolled leaves unfurl.

I really love this teapot. My husband bought one, and I found myself gravitating toward using his instead of my diffusers, so I decided to go ahead and buy my own. It does a nice job of catching even the dustiest teas like rooibos, and it's very easy to keep clean. Highly recommend! Now I just want Adagio to make a bigger size so it will fit a big ol' mug of tea, or a two-person portion!

I love this teapot. Clever design. I wish the top would fit a mason jar. It would be so useful and just needs a small spout.

This is not my favorite design as it takes a little more effort to wash the lid as opposed to the other version Adagio offers.

I like the simplicity of it. But sometimes the tea leaves get stuck in the lid and makes it difficult if I want to brew a second cup.

Very nice teapot. Having a glass option is great, just need to remember to clean it out after each use

My favorite brewing tool EVER! I was very upset when I knocked the pot off my counter. So I immediately ordered a replacement. Hint: they do not bounce! So easy to clean- a priority for me

Steeping in glass for me, is certainly preferable to plastic. A second steeping can get a little tricky when all the leaves stick to the lid. Just be mindful with the first pour.

Obsessed. This is a fantastic, durable product. Really great for making tea for one, maybe two people. I would definitely buy again.

I’m so glad I tried this teapot. I love to watch the leaves float and unfurl. I gave four stars rather than five because of its design it’s a bit difficult to get all of the tea poured out. Certainly not a dealbreaker and I do like the teapot.

I have two of these. One for home and the other at work. They are perfect for brewing up a cup quickly and simply. I hand wash mine and they’ve remained perfect.

I use this every day for loose tea. It's so cute in its simplicity, that I wish I could drink straight from it instead of needing to pour the tea into a waiting cup. And it truly is a single serve item. Do I wish it were enough for two cups ? Yes. But when it's just me brewing a cuppa, it's almost perfect.
Ps-More durable than it appears.

I wanted to love this. It works well, but it is incredibly fragile. I've lost 2 in the past two months. I can't afford to keep replacing them.

i love this little steeper. It says it's 12 ounces but it really steeps more than that. It seems very fragile so i put a silicone sleeve on the lower half that sits just below the bottom and protects it from bumps on my counter. It does a great job filtering the loose tea I use. If it were to break, I would immediately order another one.

I love this teapot for one! It makes brewing loose leaf tea super easy!

I REALLY like this infuser, good for one or two cups at a time, and you get to see the color of the tea and watch the leaves unfurl

I so did not need another teapot. LOL But I love this one. I love I can see my leaves unfurl. It is the easiest of all of my different pots to clean

I use this every day. Just pour in the boiling water, set your timer and it drains the loose tea out for you when you pour. Couldn't get any more convenient for the flavor of fresh, loose tea.

This is my go to for work and I love it. Run don't walk

This is the best teapot. It holds a good amount and even enough to share if you do smaller cups. I love how you can watch the tea brew and expand. The tea has a ton of room to steep and it is super easy to clean. Just watch out b/c if you put this on a non heat resistant surface it can mess it up. The heat transfers through the glass and it gets very hot.

Such a perfect way to brew tea. It gives the leaves enough room to unfurl while most teapots constrain the leaves a bit too much, especially if the tea is pearled.

Works great for what it is. However it's obviously small and single serve. Nice for traveling but if I'm at home, I'm going to use my velociTEA because it makes a full pot.

I just got this in my 'tea-mail' today and already love it! I have been using the ingenuitea for a few years but really wanted to get away from brewing my tea in plastic. This pot looks small but is the perfect size for a mug of tea. It's easy to clean and gives the tea leaves plenty of room to unfurl and steep. This pot also takes up less space than the ingenuitea and looks a lot nicer sitting on my counter. Glad I took the plunge and purchased this one!

Sweet little teapot, easy to clean, and meets all my criteria for safe surfaces for hot water. It holds enough for two cups of tea. I bought 4 as gifts for Christmas for people that loved mine. It is attractive too. Perfect.

I am pleased as punch with my new SimpliciTEA teapot. I used to have on of the plastic, single-serving tea brewers, but the plastic kept degrading on me. This being glass was a major upgrade. The only thing that I don t love is the top mesh does not prevent the finer particles from coming through. So, for rooibos and other finer particle teas I tend to still use fillable teabags. @adagioteas

Picked one of these up as a gift for a friend. I liked the idea of it so much that I got one for myself. I have used it a few times so far and am completely satisfied. I might buy another so I can have one for my Wife as well.

I ADORE this teapot! Just when I thought I didn't need any more tea accessories, I ordered this delightful teapot. Most of the time I'm only steeping for myself, so it's a perfect size. It maximizes flavor by allowing total unfurling of any size tea leaf and makes an excellent, calming tea lava lamp, too. Others have mentioned the lid gets hot, and it does. My solution to that has been steeping my teas without the lid on. Then, when my steep timer goes off, I put the lid on (seam side toward the handle for less tea-staining), grab the handle for pouring, and place a bit of my pouring hand's index finger on the edge of the lid just enough to ensure it doesn't fall off while pouring. This way, I'm usually finished pouring by the time the lid gets too hot to the touch. I have never been one to insist on fully filtered tea, as a little debris in the bottom of my cup never bothered me. But the design of this teapot works nicely in that the saturated tea leaves add a little extra filtering to the pour such that most debris doesn't land in your cup. A little bit of rooibos sometimes makes it through as well as ground cinnamon, though not nearly as much of these as I used to experience with my previous infuser. Cleanup is a breeze; just rinse both pieces under running water. I also love that it's dishwasher safe, which shines the stainless steel up nicely.

Hands down my new favorite personal tea pot! I want to by more!

When it works, this teapot is great. Unfortunately, I've been through two so far, and they just break too easily! Today my teapot developed a small hole in the bottom which I only discovered when I poured boiling hot water into it! To say that there was a mess is putting it mildly. I think I'll stick to ceramic teapots; they're more durable.

I have this at my office so I can enjoy loose tea every day!! Easy to use and clean and perfect for a good cup of tea

I love that this is glass, and easy to use and clean. The view of the tea leaves steeping and unfurling is my zen. Great for travel or in the go brewing. Happy sipping!

This little gem is amazing, I use it for seeping tea instead of the big pot, I only like to heat the water in the big pot.

I still use a filter with this for my teas, but this is great to take for traveling.

I absolutely love this teapot and I now have two of them for very convenient tea-making at home and in the office. It's dishwasher safe and a cinch to clean in between cups.
