I used these the first time since I'm new to loose leaf tea. So far I like them and they seem to work really well, though at times I get a bit of paper flavor in my tea. With a bit of sugar or honey I'm able to normally cover up the taste of the paper flavor.
Like others said, when I first got mine they has an odd smell to them. I let them air our awhile after the first cup. They don't give off as strong of a flavor and some are better then others.
Very convenient! I still prefer to use a reusable filter, but these are great on-the-go.
These filters are great, they don't affect the taste of the tea. I wish they were a little bit smaller, though, because I don't need that much paper for a single cup of tea.
I rarely review things online, but I have to warn people that these taste like an old toilet. It was extremely disgusting.
If they were a little smaller it would be nice. I divide my tea up into the paper filters then put them in plastic bags to take to work. It's so nice to have a choice of teas while everyone else guzzles their latte's.
I bought these for my Mom as a birthday present. She says it makes it very easy to drink the loose leaf tea. I prefer my plastic filter, so I will stick with that.
The filters are nice especially for very fine teas, like the vanilla honeybush I got, and are nice for when brewing tea for iced teas as they can hold much more than my tea ball. They aren't always easy to open and it's sometimes hard to get my Tb measure in since they're nice and narrow. Overall, I'm glad I bought them for use with extra fine leafed teas and for brewing for iced.
These are perfect for brewing a quick cup of tea. I have already ordered two more boxes.
Delivered soaking wet from the rain and had to be returned. A plastic wrapping wither on the entire package or at least around the bags sure would make a big difference, not only to prevent this situation but also to prevent flavor issues (leaching cardboard, etc..)
Great for making tea on the go and price cant be beat. Only complaint is that it would be nice to have different sizes like other companies that offer these because they are a little on the big side if you just want to make one cup of tea.
I had no problems with the recent batch of these filters. They make tea on the go so much easier!
Do what they are designed to. Would be nice to have a self-sealing mechanism.
I have to add my voice to those warning about the horrible taste these bags give the tea. I saw the previous ones but decided to take the chance since there were so many good reviews, and I thought it might be a bad batch and the problem over now. It's not. And it looks like it's not even worth contacting customer support over it. I first tried with black dragon pearls tea, and it was undrinkable, so I later tested another one with hot water. Same taste permeated the water. I guess I'll just have to buy some elsewhere. And now I can't seem to share this on FB to get more Frequent Cups points out of wasting my money. Nice, Adagio.
These are so handy to take my tea with me. I did not encounter the funny smell or taste like some reviews had said.
I have had great succcess with these filters for quite some time and would have always given the highest rating to them until I opened the last box. It imparts a terrible taste and odor to the tea as other reviewers have also mentioned. Since I have continually bought these filters, I cannot say exactly which order they came from and hopefully my other boxes of filters will be fine. I did notice that the box no longer refers to Hemp and the description is now 'Paper Tea Filters' where previously they were referred to as 'Tea Filters'. I am awaiting a response from Adagio. I am hopeful that they will make things right. I will follow up this review based on Adagio's response.

These are inexpensive and easy to use. I use them when my ingenuiTEA is out of commission, or when packing teas to take to work. I even got my mom to use them, even though she was hesitant to try loose leaf tea because it was 'too much work.'
Adagio should be ashamed of this product. I didn't even have to try these with tea in them to know how bad they are. I boiled water and put a bag in it to see if the the bag would alter the taste at all.
It completely ruined it.
The water tasted like musty wood and even had a light shade of brown to it. I thought I got a bad bag or something so I tried 3 more, but I had the same results each time. I also tried making tea in them to see if the taste would come through in the tea. It ruined a good cup of wuyi tea. I will not buy these again.
so much easier than anything else I have tried. Just toss in compost or trash when finished. Easy clean-up!
I like these filters but they are quite large. You can use them to brew a large pot of tea but I would rather just use my iron pot. I like to use them when I make tea on the go or if I want to bring some tea to drink to work or class, I can just put it in my bag and go!

These are great when I don't have my tea pot. Great for on the go and when traveling. We live in China and the trips home are very long so I take these and some tea in my carry on and it's very handy on the plane.
These leave a bad taste in the tea -- less pronounced in stronger teas, but still disappointing.
These are great and a unique product I haven't seen elsewhere. These bags allow me to mix my choice of tea with stevia and dried herbs from my own garden. They filter all but the finest of particles. They are large enough to make a whole pot of tea and long enough to drape over the side of most cups or small pots I use.
Fabulous. No filter taste, whatever. Makes it easy to bring great tea to work with me without the fuss of a tea ball.

Good filters. Useful for brewing rooibos and herbal teas since they have little bits that get through the mesh filters. I haven't gotten any weird smells or tastes like other people have mentioned.
Best I've use so far. Natural and has no adverse effects on the tea. Clean
These are a fantastic way to enjoy loose leaf teas with out the mess of straining or re-pouring. As an extra bonus they seem to compost really fast.
Ordered August 2011 and had no issue. Hopefully the bad batch other reviewers mentioned is gone now!

I will admit that I bought these around Christmas 2010, but I didn't have any problems with a funny taste. I have other tea making devices, but I always use these because they're so easy and require no clean up.
I've finally gotten around to using these, and think they're fabulous. I was a little concerned based on some of the not-so-great reviews, but I've nothing bad to say about them. I do wish there was a way to attach it to the side of the glass, but a regular clip or clothespin works just fine. I'll definitely be ordering these again. :)
I start my day with a 'cuppa' and the paper filters are very convenient. I'm not wasting a pot full of tea and I can have what ever kind I want!

Work great, never had one rip on me and doesn't seem to adversely impact the tea flavor at all. I prefer the ingenuitea to the filters, but these are great for work.

I was lucky enough not to have the problems indicated by other reviewers. I loved this item! They are deceptively large, and I sometimes put too much tea in them, but they are great for a cup or a pot of tea. A wonderful product. I order a new box with every tea order :)
I needed new filters and was happy that Adagio had them for sale. The bags are much like any bags you can fin in your local tea shop. But I like being able to get them from Adagio when I'm placing my tea orders.
These are AWESOME! They fit in any container and don't leak leaves.
Incredibly useful. I use them every morning to make a pot of tea. They provide a quick, easy clean up, which is all there is time for in the morning.
these lightweight and easy to use filters have proven to be an important part of drinking my loose tea on the go. Although I prefer to drink it straight from the pot, this is a great alternative
These are great for making your own tea bags, but are too big. It's nice to have enough room in each filter for leaves to really bloom, but the filters are still much larger than necessary even when I add enough tea leaves to make a large pitcher. It would be nice to have a smaller size for individual servings and this larger size for making full pots and pitchers.
These filters are a blessedly simple / handy / convenient means to an end for this household of novice, occasional loose tea drinkers. We especially appreciate the ease of re-brewing with them and the fact that this helps us get the most from our tea. We experienced no negative scent or taste related issues with the batch we got. An excellent product.
I barely ever use these, but they are a great convenient solution to drinking this great tea on the run. Lots of room for expansion of the leaves!
They gave my tea a very strong odor and added a not so good taste to my tea.
Absolutely perfect filters for individual cups of the Rooibos and Herbal teas. Typical tea diffusers tend to drop bits of the leaves into the cup, but these filters hold it all together and are nice and deep.
