I have tried many different ways to filter tea leaves but these work the best. I am probably a sissy but I hate when the tea leaves find there way into my cup. These bags eliminate the problem.

These filters are a convenient size, and allow for the tea leaves to expand while steeping. They don't seem to impart any taste to the tea. Love these!

Weird musty smell and taste when placed in water. I read reviews before I ordered, and some people experienced this issue while others didn't, so I took the chance and ordered anyways. I could not smell the odor when I opened the box, and I thought I would be all set, but once added to water I ran into this issue.

I hate to write such a negative review on these paper filters. I have been buying them for years. But recently, they have started to exhibit a musty flavor. I notice that some differently branded but identical filters I bought off of another site also had the same musty flavor. I'm hoping this is a temporary issue and that over time, the filters will be good again!

perfect for a DIY large volume diffuser. great for making iced tea or anytime you're wanting to infuse sugar into your brew, and don't want to get sugar in your equipment. also great for brewing multiple types at the same time for some sampling and mixing adventures

Very roomy bags that are an affordable way to take loose tea on-the-go.

I have purchased paper filters from adagio previously and enjoyed them, but the current batch is no good. They emit a distinct unpleasant odor when wet that completely overpowers the tea.

Do not purchase these until they correct this problem.

Additionally, beware of the pricing of this item... It said $3 when I put it in my shopping cart, but cost $4.50 at final check out.

I use these filters to brew tea at work. I noticed a little bit of a paper taste but no foul smell like others have commented. So far I am really happy I took the chance and purchased these.

I bought these for a friend, but have used them before. I love how handy they are for tea newbies. They make a fabulous combo with any loose tea for a gift if you are uncertain about how resourced the recipient is. Paper filters definitely have a thumbs up from me!

I love these filters. Tea leaves never get through like in mesh filters. I also love the filters for herb sachets in stews.

These are so easy to use and never leave any sediments in the bottom of the glass. The long shape of them is great for short mugs/tea cups or to-go travel mugs. And you can't beat the price either! Will be using these instead of my plastic or metal diffusers from now on.

Pretty straightforward item. They work well enough. convenient. I've ordered this twice and my second batch does not appear to suffer from the weird smell a lot of people mention.

I use these in my office where I don't have a tea strainer. I just tie off the tops to make my own little tea bags!

Never had a problem with these filters. Great for teas that only brew once or when I'm in a hurry. They are a must at work to make tea quick and easy. Best price I have found so far for paper filters.

I use these all the time at work where I don't have a normal tea pot and where the drains can't handle stray leaves. They're a great labor saver.

I love these. I was concerned when other reviews mentioned a 'musty' smell but the box I received was perfect, just like the first box I ordered a long time ago.

Love that these filters are long enough that I don't have to worry about them dropping into the cup!

The bags leave a flavor in the tea, and it isn't a pleasant one. I think it must be the same bad batch as earlier.

I like that these make loose tea portable and easy to clean up...

I ordered these a while back so I dont know why people are having problems with them recently. I think mine are great. There is plenty of room to add your tea but they are long enough that I can put them in my pitchers. They do not add unusual taste to the tea and are perfect for on the go. I also use them in my utilitea kettle when i do not feel like cleaning out the leaves by hand or when I want to resteep.

I was very hesitant purchasing these after all of the reviews that said they tasted horrible. That must have been corrected because I have not experienced tea tainted by the paper filters. I have these at work for an easy way to keep my loose leaf tea on hand :)

I can't stress how much I enjoy these filters. A friend turned me on to looseleaf tea in college, and I've never looked back. I use these all the time at work when a teapot would be too cumbersome.

I know there have been some issues with the filters before, but I've made several cups and noticed no problems at all. I had been hesitant to purchace, but turned out plesantly suprised with it. Really enjoyed the convience of them.

I thought these were a great value and a wonderful way to make a large pot of tea out of one of the many types of tea I have on hand.

Not very satisfied. These bags seemed to add a slight flavor to the tea as others have noted. Guess I got the bad batch.

I like to use these at work. You just have to be careful on how you put it in your cup or mug because the bag doesn't close.

I always brew my tea loose, but I use these when I travel - they are incredibly handy and allow all the teas to seep through nicely.

mine didn't have the weird taste others have mentioned. I tried the filter in plain water as a test before trying some tea. easy to use, maybe a little more awkward than a normal tea bag, but for the price you can't complain!

This is the second batch I've had of these. The first batch was great and did not change the tea, this batch added a slightly off flavor to some of my lighter teas but could not be detected in stronger teas. Great for travelling.

I was a bit disappointed with these filters. I had read the reviews that stated they had a bad/taste smell to them, but I went ahead and took a leap of faith anyway, because I needed a convenient way to brew tea at the office. They indeed lend a 'papery' taste to the tea, a taste that I don't get when I brew tea in my teamaker at home. At least they weren't too expensive.

Paper filters are paper filters, but i will say i was surprised about how many I got for that price. I've seen the price almost double at tea stores near me.

These filters are so convenient! I'm a student, and I like to be able to make my own tea while out of class and on campus. With these filters, I'm able to carry a small tin of Assam with me and enjoy great tea even when I'm not home. They're so easy to use, and they don't affect the tea's flavor at all.

These do exactly what they should, which is awesome! We're using these in a common room in our office so people don't have to fuss with shared teapots. My order didn't impart the 'woody' taste noted by previous reviewers, so I think that's fixed.

Something about these filters seems to have changed within the past year (or two?) They work well and are very convenient, but they don't seem quite as smell- or taste-neutral as they used to be. Still, it's not enough for me to stop using them.

Similar to those recent reviewers, I had a very experience with this new batch. I have been using it for a year and it was always a good experience. However, I bought a new pack last week. It tastes really odd and ruins the tea. Unless your tea has a really strong flavor, I don't think there is a remedy for that. By writing another review regarding the same problem, I hope Adagio can start to take it seriously and fix the problem.

The paper filters are wonderful, they are reusable, if rinsed well immediately after using. They are much better than standard white filters, because the white filters cause a bitter taste taste to the tea and a coating on the water. Easy to use and reuse,

These are okay. I would prefer a teaball over these paper filters. There is really no good way to keep them shut.
