This was a Christmas present to my daughter. She is an adventurous tea drinker, and I give her Republic of Tea blends often.
Preparing tea for one need not be a hurried affair. Just as easily, it may be a leisurely break. A moment to relax and unwind with a soothing cup. And what a cup it is. Stylish and large, big enough for 10oz of tea. It comes with a matching glass saucer and lid. The sturdy metal infuser is the perfect way to prepare tea right in the cup. In short, everything you need to enjoy a beautiful cup of tea anytime.

Made in China | 12 oz (0.35L) | 3" tall| 4.5" diameter | Plate: 6.25" diameter | Borosilicate glass | Dishwasher safe

This was a Christmas present to my daughter. She is an adventurous tea drinker, and I give her Republic of Tea blends often.
My daily go to brew and cup. For new tea drinkers, this is the first gift I give them. I love the strainer has the lid to rest in. I love holding a plate with my cup. I love I can see the color of the tea. I wish all cups had this design. Also, it’s glass but I’m not exactly ‘delicate’… I can’t guarantee how long it will survive me and my glazed sink, but it’s going strong a year later!
Like the size and the infuser when done fits nicely in the lid. One down side is that the handle is small and if the liquid is hot can not really pick up with the handle alone.
I love the look of this cup, but it has one major flaw... the glass is too thin. And shattering is a serious problem.
Truly an amazing cup! It’s way bigger than I anticipated.
It feels fragile, but as long as you handle it with care it should be fine. Arrived perfectly intact, and holds up well to 212 degree teas.
Love it, will be buying another to have at work...
It's gorgeous and holds the perfect amount. I'm a visual person when it comes to eating or drinking and looking at my tea as it steeps is fascinating and makes the process more exciting.
I adore this cup! It's the perfect size.
Nice and handy. It is a pretty study cup and easy to use.
I love the large size of the cup and that it's shallow compared to other infusers. Great for adding steamed milk for lattes. Also, the infuser holes are tiny so you don't get a lot of sediment with finer teas such as honeybush, etc.
Love this cup and infused. I would definitely buy another one.
Love it! It is the perfect size for a cup of tea and the infuser helped me keep an eye on how much tea I am actually using. The infuser worked with both the larger leaf and smaller leaf blends without letting anything through the filter. The cup feels sturdy though I am going to be very careful of it. All in all, I am really glad I got this. Tea time is so much better.
I love everything about this tea cup except for the handle. It is insulated, but very small. I can get about two finger in it, and the handle doesn't get hot, but the cup does. In order to balance the cup in your hand, you have to lean your other fingers on the cup or hold it, which is HOT! Using the saucer as a buffer works pretty okay though. Love the size.
I am in love!! Much easier to handle than the previous infuser I own. The saucer included makes it the perfect cup to brew loose leaf.
Received it today, already been washed and using it now! I love it! Each piece fits together perfectly! Using it with the cream and sugar set for tea this afternoon :-)
I have to add to this! This has been my go to tea cup. I absolutly LOVE it! i use it all the time. Just bought another one (without the infuser unfortunatly, they were out) as a back up tea cup
I absolutely love this tea cup and infuser. It's delicate and yet sturdy, and I use it every morning without fail. I have bought several for friends and family, all of whom use it just as frequently and find it superior to typical infusers.
This sucker is pretty awesome-- it looks really nice, firstly, and comes with a dish for setting the basket in. It does get pretty darn hot, but I just hold it with the saucer. Maybe a bit overpriced, but the basket's of pretty high quality.
The perfect cup for my morning tea.. or curling up in a chair with a good book or some knitting and enjoying a relaxing cup of tea.
This was a good choice for me considering how much tea I usually drink in one sitting.
as others have said, beautiful and lightweight fresh from the box! but with tea in it the cup is so heavy especially with the tiny handle! Also hard to hold without scorching fingers. 3 stars for the infuser that lets nothing slip through.
Awesome! It is a nice large cup. It's not a heavy glass cup. The saucer dish conforms to the cup so no worries about a cup slipping right off. I love it.
Great infuser cup, and I use it regularly, but I will add to the various comments warning of its fragility - the cup may break in a dishwasher and will if mishandled/dropped. The saucer and metal infuser are great, but the cup itself (and the 'lid') are both quite fragile (I've broken several of the lids on accident when they slipped from my grasp while washing).
Furthermore, it's important to note the amount of water that fits into the cup, and calculate how much leaves you need along with that - this is 12 ounces, not 8, and if you don't account for that many teas will taste oversubtle, without any oomph (especially the more expensive teas here). This leads to using more tea leaves per cup, as well, which can be more expensive in the long run.
Just a word of caution! Otherwise fantastic.
This is the perfect tea cup. It's beautiful, easy to clean and makes the perfect amount to sip while you read a good book. The infuser is the best I have used thus far. I use this item pretty much daily.
Great infuser...I would just buy the infuser not the cup combo...Makes the perfect cup of tea each time. Cup cracked around the handle after using it five times...Since I have had it for 33 days, I am out of luck to get a replacement by three days.
I almost purchased a few more combo sets...Tea is great...I will have to look around for a more reliable way to brew the tea.
A pretty set that makes a wonderful gift to a first time loose tea user. I love being able to see my tea and it always seems like tea tastes better out of a glass mug. :)
While the design is pretty, I have agree with everyone else in terms of their assessments of how fragile the glass is. Drinking wise, the wide mouth is great, if a bit awkward to hold, as the handle is puny compared to the rest of the cup. It also does little to help the tea retain heat very well, which is nice for a person like me, who likes their tea a bit cooler than most, not so much for those who enjoy their cuppas piping hot. One other gripe I have with this cup is the fact that the infuser simply does not have enough holes on the bottom to efficiently brew in any level of water that does not reach to the metal mesh at the top. If they swapped the design, more holes on the bottom, more metal at the top, it'd be far more useful. Furthermore, it also would be nice if the infuser handle/tab had some sort of rubber grip on it, as the metal does conduct heat and it can get on the far side of too hot to handle at times.
The set looks very nice and I liked it a lot but it's made of very thing glass and my saucer broke on the second day. I use the infuser all the time though and it works great with all my mugs.
great product for making any kind of tea just wish it was bigger
So far this cup is brilliant, there were no cracks or anything wrong with it, my only qualm would be that the handle gets very hot making it hard to hold the cup, I am very sensitive to heat, as I would assume most people are but so far this cup is fantastic.
After reading a few of the other comments, I knew I couldn't resist at least trying this convenient receptacle to brew tea. I bought this as a gift to my dear friend, who I had previously bought an iron cast tea pot (due to its durability) and I am pleased to report that the glassware Jumbo Cup still survives.
My only word of caution is that this cup gets very hot to handle if you brew your teas as I do. The saucer aids in preventing any potential mishaps when moving the steaming cup
I keep my tea pot in the office and needed something at home. This is the perfect combination of functionality and convenience.
This cup is really handy and really big. I feel like the display pictures do not do justice to the cup since it looks a lot bigger in real life than in the photo.
I really like this cup, but it does have a couple of flaws. I enjoy that the strainer has holes at the bottom of it, unlike the strainer did in the petite teapot(unless that changed). However, the strainer has holes high up on the sides, but lower on the sides there aren't any. I would rather have more holes lower down than higher up. The cup is also a lot larger than I had anticipated, but this is no fault of anyone but myself.
The glass feels very thin, but so was my petite teapot and that was pretty sturdy(until the spout broke...). My last problem with it isn't anything to do with the actual product itself, really, but it came with some small black marks on the glass that I haven't been able to scrub off. Not a huge deal, just bugs me a bit.
I received my first Adagio order last night and tried the cup (with rooibos caramel) right away. Loved the cup! It's a bit heavy for the small handle...but that won't stop me from using this. It has a light feel (I was almost afraid I'd break while washing) but felt very substantial while enjoying my tea. This will definitely be my cup for my evening tea.
My only complaint is that I wish it had more holes near the bottom. I use less water on reinfusions and anything under 10 ounces doesn't touch the holes on the sides of the infuser. Like others have said, it loses heat fast but not faster than I usually drink.
I gave this as a gift - he loved it and has been using it every day!
the glass seems very fragile and it's hard to keep clean, but i love it. my tea cools quickly, but I drink it quickly so it's great for me.
I have ordered this product before, I wanted one for work and home because it is so fabulous!
My mother-in-law loves her new cup and infuser! An excellent gift.
This cup and infuser was exactly as described. It's so easy for me to brew tea just for myself. Even though it is very thin it holds up nicely.
This was a gift for my sister. She loves the sleekness of the cup.
I've purchased the IngenuiTEA a while ago and I loved it. However, I needed to replace my filter and I saw this tea cup
I love the cup but for some reason, the tea it makes tastes different. Will keep trying to perfect the balance.
The infuser works great and the glass retains heat spectacularly.
This is beautiful! I love it, it seems so delicate but the reviews say it will hold up well. I`m looking forward to not having to carry a teapot and cup when I want to take my tea outside, or into the bath.
I love this mug, i bought 2 and gave one to my daughter as a gift. i would highly recommend this set.
Love this set. It is a 'Feel Good' cup and is wonderful to drink from. The infuser is easy to use and clean and does a wonderful job at not letting tea debris through.
Just got this. So excited to use the infuser! As observed, a bit awkward to hold when full and hot, but once the tea cools to my preferred drinking temperature it's great. I can see myself using it more to infuse and make tea, and then pouring the tea over into my thicker (and cheaper) glass mug to drink. That way I handle it less and have less chance of breaking it.
It's perfect for work. No fuss. Easy, quick and durable.
