Oh my gosh...there are no words to describe this teapot. Such a wonderful invention. I have used it several times with black and green tea and have not seen a leaf in my cup at all!!! I can't wait to buy one to make iced tea with. You won't be disappointed with this at all.

This is my second 16oz ingenuiTEA teapot. I had to have one for work!
I would say this thing is great, but only when it actually works. Maybe mine has a defect, but 50% of the time the mesh strainer (that which keeps the tea leaves out of your cup) floats to the top after the water is poured in. No matter how hard I press and triple check that it fits properly, half the time it floats to the top and I dump out the tea. You do the math - if you buy $20 worth of tea, you'll enjoy only $10 worth. Save your money and get something more reliable.
I have a beautiful collection of teapots, but I have to say that the ingenuiTEA teapot is my new favorite. It's so convenient and easy to use, not to mention the cleanup is easy as well. I plan to also purchase the 32oz size with pitcher for making ice tea!

This makes brewing tea an event to look forward to! The filter at the bottom can stain with use, but washing it with just a tiny bit of bleach water seems to help keep it clean and colorless. Never going back to a teapot ever again!

Where has ingenuiTEA been all my life? I stumbled upon the ingenuiTEA teapot while researching the best way to steep loose-leaf tea, and I don't know how I ever made tea without it. It is so brilliant - easy to use, compact, and SO easy to clean. For me, the best part is that you don't need an extra teapot - just steep in ingenuiTEA and then drink... no middleman!
The 16 oz size fits my insulated cup perfectly; both capacity and cup rim size. Being able to watch the tea leaves rise and sink adds to the experience
I bought this with my first ingenuiTea 'just in case' I ever needed it, and I haven't yet, but it's good to know it's in the cupboard. I don't think the original will ever go bad persay, it looks quite sturdy. Aside from a little staining, which doesn't bother me at all.

My new pot leaks. I had 16oz of tea on the counter and floor three times already so I am buying the class teapot with a insert that I can remove. I like to older version in clear and black, but both are not easy to clean, I can not get my hand in to remove the filter.
I have tried different teapots, tea balls, and bags (of course) but this gadget always makes the best cup of tea. It's easy to use and great to have around. It stains very quickly and is hard to clean all of it out by hand, though.
A coworker brought hers in and we all thought it was so great that we each ordered two (one for ourselves of course) and I ended up ordering another four for Christmas presents so everyone tea drinker in my family has one!!

I got one for me and one for my mother. She is not a gadget person and she still finds this extremely easy to use. I usually only drink one cup at a sitting, so it works perfectly for me. I will always bring mine with me now when I visit my mother so that we can drink tea at the same time.
The ingenuiTEA teapot is so convenient and easy to use. It is very durable and doesn't retain tastes when you switch flavors of teas (after you rinse it thoroughly or wash with dish liquid). It is also dishwasher safe.

I saw this item on HGTV and them looked it up on the website. I ordered one for myself, and now wonder how I ever lived without it! Everyone I know will be getting one for Christmas this year. They are get at draining the tea, and easy to clean up. And the price is amazing. I am a believer in this awesome product. PS, I threw away all my old tea strainers!

An amazing invention... I use it at least 4 times a day! So easy to use... I do wish it were easier to keep clean... an improvement on the design would be to be able to disassemble it for cleaning.

This is the most wonderful tea accesory I've ever had, and I'm a tea afficianado! Brews the perfect cup every time and the tea is crystal clear! No more bits of leaves in my tea. I love it!
I was confused at first how to use it by looking at it, and what the spare black disc was. I had seen the demo and gave it a whirl and it worked well. After the first few uses I saw a little tea leakage on the counter and realized the disc is like a coaster for the pot to sit on and catch leaks.
This is an amazing contraption and everyone I have shown it to is envious and eager to get one for their own kitchen. I only wish the larger size were available.

I received my Adagio ingenuiTEA teapot in the mail and within ten minutes had two wonderful cups of coffee. I've never used a more 'smart' product for steeping and filtering tea before.
