Honestly, how did i make tea before this! So easy to brew the perfect cup of tea.

We absolutely love the Ingenuitea! Mine arrived yesterday, and now we need to order another, so that both of us can have a cup at the same time!

I am new to using loose tea and I LOVE this teapot! I have had it for 4 days and used it every day. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and I like seeing the brewing tea in the clear pot. It looks so much nicer than looking at your tea from the top of a ceramic mug. :-)

This is the best invention ever, I didn't even know that I wanted it. But, it's perfect, easy, quick and cleaning it is so easy. I just put it in the dishwasher!

The ingenuiTEA is the best purchase you can make on this website. It makes brewing loose leaf tea so simple and easy. It's much better than a tea ball, because it has a lot of space for the tea leaves to unfurl. Highly recommend!

This is a great product for making tea. I love watching the tea before my eyes and it's so easy to clean.

I am so pleased with this, I've ordered three more, as I like to sip different teas throughout the day and I resteep, adding just a little more tea each time. Amazingly simple, perfect tea, as the tea drains from the bottom, ensuring one last wash of flavor into your cup. I do know these will find their way as gifts to special friends . . . share the joy!

This has been now at least a couple of years since I bought my first one. I now have a collection. At home, at work, vacation home. I have bought many for friends and it is the most perfect gift!! Everyone LOVES them. Best tea experience! The only problem is I can't order enough make all of my friends smile!!!

I bought one of these years ago and lost it when I moved out of my first apartment. Since then, I have found nothing like it. It's been three years since I've owned one, but when I decided to get into teas again, this was the first thing I bought. I use it every day.

How did I ever survive without this? So much better than a traditional tea ball or infuser, which tend to leave bits of tea leaves floating in your cup. Here, you get a clean cup of tea with no debris. :)

This is the second ingenuiTea I've purchased, this time one for my office. Using it makes steeping tea really simple, and it presents the tea well while it's steeping.

My Teavana strainer of five years finally passed a week or two ago, so I decided to give the ingenuiTEA a shot. I love it! The design is a nice step up from my old model and it works perfectly. My only possible qualm would be that hold just exactly 16 oz, and since my home mugs go up to 12 or more, I can't fit in enough tea to make two cups at once. On the upside, the unit is a lot smaller and fits on the counter much easier.

Where has this invention been all my life, how have I ever made tea without it?! It's perfect! It's quick to clean and so easy to use.I love watching the tea leaves expand! I can't wait to show this off at tea parties!

I can't believe how easy this is to use. Fits right on top of any mug I own, including my travel one! A cinch to clean, and versatile enough to use with a lot of different blends. I think I'm in love.

This is a great infuser. Great item for the price. I would get one for all my friends.

I love this so so much but be careful if you let the leaves stay in there and not rinse it out right after. It seems that there's a film on the inside or some staining.

This is a very simple item to use. The best part is that I can easily resteep my tea without making a huge drippy mess.

I think I'm in love! It's so easy to use and clean. And the size is perfect for me.

If it were possible to rate this stupendous, I would! Why on earth I had not studied the use of this wonderful pot and giving it a try before now escapes me. Watching the tea brew is so soothing, sipping tea that is TOTALLY free of 'floaters' is over the top.

If you aren't sure about this tool or if you're new to loose tea, get this! You won't regret it. It's much easier than fumbling with a tea ball, or using a second cup and strainer like I did before.

I love this product! I never saw myself as a tea person with a tea pot and all but this infuser is awesome! It's easy to use and clean.

Save for the paper filters, there is next to nothing that makes preparing loose teas easier (or prettier). With enough room to let your tea expand and brew the perfect cup, the mesh strainer makes sure your tea is as clear as possible. Easy to use and easy to clean, this is something that should be a permanent fixture in any tea aficionado's cupboard.

I absolutely love this thing! Never had much luck in keeping loose leaf tea brewing tools around but so far this has been a time saver!

Wow. I haven't had one of these for a while, and while they used to be fantastic, they've definitely improved the design. This one is way easier to clean! That said, no better way to brew tea, in my opinion.

I love this teapot, best one I have used and had to get a second one for the office. It's especially great for work being easy to dispense your tea without any mess and hardly any cleanup.

Such a nifty tea maker. With the exception of some of the ultra-fine blends I get sometimes, very little leaks through and it's very easy to clean out after each use.

I was a casual drinker until I started using the ingenuiTEA. It really is amazing and fool proof!

I absolutely love this product!! I cant drink tea without it. It beats having a tea ball and getting fine leaves in your cup of tea!! This is ingenious no punn intended!!

If there was only one thing on this site I could recommend to people, it'd probably be this. Everyone has their own taste in tea, but this teapot is probably the greatest thing no one things of immediately. It's so easy to use and so easy to clean. I do recommend it to everyone.

How do I love my teapot, let me count the ways. This is the perfect teapot. The metal basket inside is big enough to let the leaves unfurl- something I have found isn't always the same in other teapots. The spout never drips, and the pot itself has enough room for two big mugs of tea. I am a very big fan. My only dislike is that sometimes with teas that have smaller pieces (like chamomile or rooibos) a few chunks will occasionally get lodged in the netting of the basket. It just takes running it under the tap and picking to clean it out, though.

I've been looking forward to buying and using the ingenuiTEA for quite a while -- and by and large it's everything I wanted. It's great for teas with larger leaves that make it difficult to fit them into other infusers, and it's beautiful to watch the tea steep. However, emptying and cleaning smaller tea infusers is still faster and easier, so I usually still find myself using those. But it's a handy thing to have around and I don't regret buying it.

This is one of the handiest items to have around the house. It's easy to use and travel friendly. Not to mention it's easy to clean! I like how the leaves remain in the pot so there's no residue left afterwards. If you or a loved one are a tea fanatic, this is one thing to have in your tea collection!!

Hands down the best way to brew a single cup just the way you like it. Easy to use and clean.
Tip! Measure 8oz 10oz and 12oz and mark the level with a sharpie. I do love precision.

This invention is a work of art! It steeps my tea efficiently and releases it into my cup without even an speck of tea. Thinking about buying the matching mug to complete my ingenuiTEA experience!

I didn't understand this just from seeing the pictures, but when a friend ordered one and showed me, the tea hardly touched the bottom of the mug and I was already ordering one for myself. I've had so much trouble with brewing loose leaf tea with tea ball infusers, but this is the perfect brewing pot. It is RIDICULOUSLY easy to use and is fun to use, too! I really recommend this!!

Love this product a lot. Making tea is just so fast and it's fun to watch it all unfold as it steeps. Cleanup is easy too

Unbelievable! I'm a (formerly) life-long tea bag user. I had no idea that loose tea was so much tastier than the sad, messy swill I was drinking almost every day. I purchased an IngenuiTEA on a whim when I read about it on Lifehacker.com and was shocked at how easy it is to use. I had never attempted to prepare a cup from loose tea, because I assumed it was too much of a hassle to steep it at my desk. Instead, I'm steeping tea at least three times a day, and have just ordered a second for use at home. The black, green and Rooibos teas I've steeped in this gadget have all come out perfectly and easily. Somebody track down the person who invented this thing and throw them a parade!

For brewing tea at work this teapot cannot be beat! It makes brewing so convenient and cleanup is easy too.
UPDATE 9/12 - Had this for over a year and its still going strong!

I was anxious when I ordered the ingenuiTEA and looked forward to receiving it and testing it out. Granted, its a great concept and I really like it.

What I don't like - clean up. After you make your <insert number of cups of tea> cups of tea and the time comes for you to wash/rinse out the ingenuiTEA, you have to deal with all the wet, sticky tea leaves. Since garbage disposals are virtually non-existent here in Japan, cleaning up involves me sticking my hand in the ingenuiTEA and pulling all the tea leaves and dumping them in the trash - which makes my trash can wet and sticky as well.

I've thought of trying the large tea bags, but that pretty much defeats the purpose of using the ingenuiTEA. Plus, I don't know if I want to try the bags based on the review on this site.

Wonderfully easy to steep loose tea. I find it works best with lighter flavoured teas, bringing out the full flavour without making it bitter.
Cleaning is simple enough, and it's aesthetically pleasing. A simply marvellous contraption!

Love this product! This is very simple to use. I have heard complaints about the filter staining, but I have not had this problem too bad. It only stains if you leave the leaves out in it for a while. Filters last a good while and are easy to replace. My only trouble with this product is that the leaves are not incredibly simple to get out of the ingenuiTea. However, it is not too bad of a hassle either. I would recommend buyinng this in the gift section of this website so you can get some sample teas along with it. Wonderful product!
