I had been using the Teavana tea maker for many years, and I know that it is the same as the IngenuiTEA 2. However, based on the reviews here I purchased the original IngenuiTEA, and so far I am very happy. The only downside, perhaps is that the base of the tea maker is a little smaller than the newer one. I use a very large mug sometimes and this will not fit on top of my mug. I knew it would be a problem, so I do not count this as any kind of flaw. Just beware, when it says that it works with all cups and mugs, it will not work with very wide mugs.
I don’t know how I survived with out this tea steeping device. This cup makes steeping tea so easy and easy to clean up. If you know any tea lovers I highly recommended this device. @adagioteas
This is really easy to use and clean and so convenient! My only complaint is that it is quite small, so I wouldn't really say it's good for 2 cups, maybe more like a cup and a half.
The ingenuiTEA makes dealing with loose leaf tea a breeze, it cleans easy and I never get roots or dirt in my cup even if I am drinking a roobios.

This is the 2nd IngenuiTEA i ve gotten, and I love it. The only reason I gave 4/5 is that my last one started to leak about 8 months in, however that could have been from moving. @adagioteas

it works well, recently though it's looking a little worse for wear. a little tea stained and it's a bit hard to clean. but other than that, it's fine.
I love this product so much! It's very useful, although I've found it to be hard to clean. Lots of tea stains in some of the crevasses.
(Update: no but seriously how do you efficiently clean this thing, there's so many little bits of tea in the cracks.)

This is my second IngenuiTEA. Makes wonderful tea! So easy to use and no dripping! I bought it to take to work, and my tea-loving colleagues love to make their tea with it too!
I purchased the IngenuiTEA to replace my Tealyra after one of our feline assassins dispatched its predecessor recently. It works very well without any leaking and the silver accept dresses up its appearance nicely. The material is holding up to multiple daily steeps without clouding up. Time will tell if the crisp, clear finish lasts but so far I am very happy with the purchase!

I have bought this twice already. Every part can be removed and cleaned (a definite plus). The only thing is that is doesn't have a drip plate like the newer version, but this one is great too.
I use this every single day. Easy to use and clean. Revolutionizes loose tea brewing. Wish the diameter was a bit wider for my tea cups.
I have an older IngeniTea that I dearly love. I got a second one to keep at another home. While it works the same way the older does the filter is just a bear to remove for cleaning. The older one's filter is a breeze to remove and clean. The older one gets 5 stars, the new one 4 stars because of the filter hassle.

A great way to brew and drink loose leaf. One of the big advantages here is that it lets the leaves fully expand and unroll which makes for a much more thorough extraction and brings a lot of subtlety to every brew.

The IngenuiTEA came without any kind of instructions. I had to watch a couple of videos on YouTube to figure out how to use and then how to clean it. Once I learned how, this is super convenient to use and leaves no loose tea leaves in my drinking cup. If I take the bottom cup holder out of my Keurig, I can fit the IngenuiTEA under to have hot water flow into the cup. I would highly recommend this product come with instructions, but otherwise, I love it.
Still happy with ease of brewing my tea in the morning. This is a great idea. However, have found over time the plastic canister degrades and turns brown, the filters do the same. I clean both but over time they become permanently stained. Also, really liked the catch plate that came with my original brewer. Haven't received another one since, and the brewer does leak over my counter. Not happy.
I ordered this on a whim and am fairly satisfied. It works well but cleaning out the tea can be a bit of a chore. It takes several rinsings before all the tea leaves and other bits will all wash out. Otherwise it is a good way to make a cup of tea.

I love this new diffuser. The old one I was using was 16 years old and it finally broke.
This is my favorite way to brew loose leaf tea. I got mine originally as part of a special package with a mug and Bella Luna Blue, so I didn't get to review it, but I bought one for my mother in law so she could have one as well. The filter's fine enough that it catches sediment even from teas like rooibos, and it's easy to just dump the leaves and rinse out after use. It does sometimes drip a tiny bit underneath, but I just let it sit on a folded paper towel while it's brewing, and that catches anything.
Love the Ingenuitea. My only wish is that it came with instructions. After a quick Google search I figured out how to use it.
I didn't realize how much I would actually be using this thing. It is so much better then just the in cup strainers! Love it!
I bought one about a year ago and put it away and forgot about it. Several months later I came across it and tried it out. I immediately ordered a second one to keep in my office at work...I love it so much. I will be buying one for my daughter soon!
