I have the larger one, and just bought the smaller one. I kinda wish it was marked for oz on the side like 8 oz, and such, but not a deal breaker. I love the way I can watch the leaves steep, and the water change. When it is all ready I get to place it on my cup, and watch it filter out. I get excited every time ^_^ Cleaning can just be a bit difficult. That filter is hard to take out at first, but I've developed my own way to shimmy it out. Now if only I could find where to get replacement filters. They tend to get stained, and I tend to like the clean look.

The bottom dispensing loose tea pot / steeper is a 'jaw dropping' piece of ingenuous ingenuity! Pun intended! They allow for the loose tea to fully expand and fully release the tea's flavors...it's simple and clean and works exactly as seen on the video...I purchased 3 of these and less than a month later I'm grabbing 4 more! My friends keep begging me out of my current supply...why these aren't available on EVERY Street corner is BEYOND me!

It's the best. They weren't lying when they said you'll wonder how you lived without it. I've never been so happy in my life. Worth every penny.

very easy to use and can be fun to watch some teas come to life while steeping.

This is a great device for loose tea lovers! Very convenient and portable. Just be careful where you set it as it could cause leakage when enough pressure is applied to the bottom.

I was extremely hesitant about buying this, but it was well worth every penny. My tea actually tastes noticeably better than with my other mesh infuser, and I use fewer tea leaves overall, because I can keep an eye on how things are going, and stop the brew when it reaches the flavor I want. I was a little worried about pouring boiling water into it, but it works just fine, and is very well made. Clean up is a snap, just rinse, pour, and then run another fill through the infuser (hold the bottom and let the water pour out!) to clean the rest of it. The mesh is so fine that I haven't had a single stray tea particle get through. I've recommended it to people I know who drink tea, and now I'm recommending it to you.

Bottom line, I'm blown away.

I love this thing.. I bought a second one, but went to get another replacement filter, and it seems they don't offer them anymore.

We have 2 ingenuiTEAs that see regular use in our house, plus one at my office (the first one I purchased, about 10 years ago, and still going strong), and we've given out a few as gifts. Easy to use, easy to clean, and the room to expand makes a significant difference in the flavor of full-leaf teas as compared to using a tea ball or bag.

This contraption is the perfect tea maker. It is inexpensive and small enough to bring with to work. I love how easy it is to use and how you just place it on top of your cup and it pours right in. This is an absolute must for tea making!

I bought the ingenuiTEA as a suggestion for an easy brewer to get into tea drinking. I was kind of nervous about using it but finally broke down and started brewing my samples up in it. It works great! I was originally scared it would leak but I've had no such issues. Just brew and set it on top of the cup and I'm good to go! Clean up is equally easy and fast.

This really makes my tea drinking experience. I've dropped mine quite a few time now without breaking so I would say it's pretty hardy for an item under $20! The ingenuiTEA has also gone over really well as gifts and introducing people to loose leaf.

The best tea maker ever. I use mine so much when it gets real dark from the tea I just put it in oxy clean for a day and it comes out looking brand new! I just ordered another to keep at my work.

This steeper works great! I thought it would drip but its a great design and build. It filters all the tea leaves perfectly. Easy to clean! Would recommend to anybody wanting to steep tea with ease.

IngenuiTEA completely opened my eyes up to tea. 4 years ago I bought this for my tea loving boyfriend along with the green tea samplers. He fell in love with the simplicity of this item, and so did I. Half of the fun is watching the tea leaves open and the tea colors bleed into the water. Clean up is very simple. Like I said, we've had ours for 4 years and it is still going strong. There is discoloration from tea stains but nothing has broken. And since our tea collection grew so much during Christmas, we've decided to invest in another one!

Before I purchased the ingenuiTEA, all I had for infusing tea were two of the one cup stainless steel infusers. Now that I have this awesome little dude, I can fill my to-go cup for work in one fell swoop.
The plastic is tough and overall the ingenuiTEA looks pretty well made. I like the fact you can pour a controlled amount into a cup easily. This is perfect for experimenting with brew lengths.

LOVE this. So easy to use, and insanely easy to clean, its wonderful.

I love the idea behind this: single cup brewing for loose teas without a tea ball or any mess. It's not too hard to clean, and seems sturdy and dependable. Awesome product.

So easy to use and clean. Never have to worry about tea leaves getting into my drink. Just put it on my tea cup and push down. Makes two cups at once so hubby and I can both enjoy tea together. Love this!

So easy-to-use, and it makes making the perfect cup incredibly simple! I will definitely be using this for a good long time.

I LOVE this device! I used it for the first time today and already I see how much of a difference it made in brewing my teas. I was amazed and how much expansion the tea leaves made as opposed to my tiny teaball and use and clean up is so easy (and not to mention cool!)

The most interest and fun way to make tea. You can watch the leaves moving up and down while you wait to enjoy your favorite tea.

This thing gets used at least 3 times a day. It's so convenient and easy to use and cleanup takes seconds.

Easy enough to use, though it makes a lot of tea - usually two mugs worth! Makes for fantastic tasting tea, you can see the tea expanding and getting the full flavor out of using the ingenuiTEA as compared to tea balls, bags, and whatever other tea infuser types I've used. Easy to clean too.

How did I ever brew tea without this thing?! This is honestly the best tea related invention I've ever seen, next to the electric kettle that heats to certain temps. Having lupus makes it very difficult to have steady enough hands to pour a hot tea pot into a smallish cup. But with this I just plop it on top and I'm done. No accidental burns! Definitely will be recommending this to everyone.

The ingenuiTEA I received was in perfect condition. It is easy to use and easy to clean! Can't wait to use it for all the tea I plan on purchasing!

A great way to steep tea! It's quite entertaining to watch the loose leaves swirl and expand in the water.

Great product. I love giving my tea room to roam. My only complaint is that it is not easy to remove the spent leaves.

I loved the ease with which I could use it. It really does work on all cups, especially my thermos and my gigantic stay at home mug. This is perfect for steeping a cup in the morning before I go to school. Keep up the great work!

The ingenuiTEA teapot works great, and is really easy to clean. I had never been a fan of loose teas, until this product, and now I have no need to go back to tea bags.

I love this method for brewing loose leaf tea. It allows the leaves to move about freely yet still be easily filtered.

This is my favorite way to brew tea! I love it because you can watch the tea as it slowly changes colors. Also, it is so satisfying to watch as the water drains out of the ingenuiTEA and into your mug. It is also easy to clean and it minimizes the amount of tea leaves that end up in your cup. It makes a great gift too. Highly recommended!

This little teapot is awesome. It strains even the smallest particles and is easy to use and clean.

This was a gift, and it's an amazing device for making tea, especially at work. My workplace has a hot water dispenser, and all I have to do is add the tea of choice, pour the hot water over, wait the brewing time, then dispense it conveniently into my cup. Almost every time I've used it over the last week, co-workers have wanted to see how it works and almost universally end up wanting one of their own. Overall, it's an excellent device that is replacing all of my old teamaking methods.

This is a really cool item. I use it with my Keurig, just pop in the tea, and run the water through, let steep and enjoy in your favorite cup. The only comment is that I would like this to be ceramic to hold more heat. I wrap mine in a towl to keep it hot.

Replaced a simpler and smaller Bodum glass tea set I had been using. Not only does the larger size work better for me, the design also reduces the chances of me spilling the tea. If I had had this tea maker during our recent 9 days with no power (ice storm) We wouldn't have had to use a strainer to make weak coffee. This will be my future gift to sophisticated family and friends.
