This is a sweet upgrade from the old model. It is the perfect size for traveling or using at home. I am so happy I got it and I think you will be too. It's got a smaller feel to it, but it still holds a great amount of tea with plenty of room for the lovely leaves to unfurl.

It no longer has the metal mesh filter like on the old IngenuiTEA, however, the added drip catch more than makes up for that! I never noticed a difference between quality plastic filters and metal ones anyway. It also seems to be tighter on the amount of liquid it holds. I have less accidents of overfilling my 16oz mugs with this one that I did my old IngenuiTEA. The one downside, and why I'm knocking a star off this, is that it does appear to be more fragile. When knocked off a table, the release mechanism fell out. When I attempted to push it back in, it broke. That is, the little stem with the rubber bit on the end broke off.
Sure, I broke it, but it fell apart in a way it wasn't meant to just by being knocked off the table. C'mon.

I adore my older one, but i just had to try the newer version. Wonderful and good move to try this version.
