I have used this every day since I received it. I love how easy it is to use AND how easy it is to clean. The only thing I dislike is that it doesn’t have measurements on the side, so I tend to make two cups of tea at once to fill it up, but that is a minor issue. Thanks for making tea making easy when I don’t want an entire gong fu session.
this is my second one (different brand the last time) and I love it. They last for a lonnggg time and worth it.
This is the BEST tea infuser I've ever used. I've had the original one for over a decade and it started to look a little worn, so I'm ecstatic that I was able to find this replacement. The removable filter is a wonderful upgrade.
I bought this for Christmas for my husband to take to the office. He was initially confused and a little skeptical because it didn't come with any instructions. I let him flounder for a bit but after only a few seconds he had figured it out and even marked a reminder on the outside that it holds 16 ounces. He said it's been working great.

I just purchased the replacement filter to use on my original IngenuiTea since that one doesn't have the option to purchase just the filter. This filter, o my goodness, is just a little too large for the other ingenuiTea. However, if you're determined, you can 'make it' fit. With a bit of force and hot water it will eventually seat properly. So, I'm very happy with the purchase. It saved me from having to replace the entire unit. What a great value!
The difference between version 2 and version 1 is that version 2 does not have the label lines for how much water you've added. Same amount can go in of course. Other than that, very nice, I do like the small improvements they made to this one from version 1.
I bought this to replace a very similar Teavana branded steeper/strainer I lost in a move. This is the simplest, most straightforward way to brew a cup of tea in my opinion. It gives the leaves plenty of room to expand so you can extract full flavor, and there’s something quite satisfying about watching the tea drain out. Plus it’s really easy to clean! You can’t go wrong with this.

I went back and forth for about two months on whether to get it and which one I would get etc. I am so happy with this I want to get another one to keep at work! I also would love if they got a larger version of this for two cups. I love the drip pan and the ease of cleaning.
I have the first IngenuiTea and love it. This one does not have the water level markings but is just as good, if not better. I’m glad I now have one for home and one for work
I just don’t like it as well as I liked my old one. It gets the job done but I miss the wonderfulness of the old design.
Works just as well as the original IngenuiTEA but the filter can be replaced. Some reviews mention that it is oval instead of round. This is true but the base is still round so it will still fit cups fine. Just the body is oval. Overall, a great product.

It's effective, and easy to use and clean. I just don't like it because it's plastic instead of glass and it seems fussier than the SimpliciTea with the flip-top and whatnot. I got this because I've been waiting for the SimpliciTea to come back in stock for the better part of a year now. I got tired of not having it, so I figured this was worth a try. It really does work well as long as your mug isn't too wide for the base of this to fit on. It's just not the thing I really want, so man, I hope Adagio brings back that SimpliciTea soon.

When the one, I am using wears out, I will purchase the Ingenuitea and use it.

Works great. I like the replicable filter. holds enough to brew a big cup. I haven't broken the lid off like I was worried about and I use it at least once a day, if not more because my husband also uses it sometimes. I think we've owned it for about 3 years now.
The easiest way to brew a cup of loose leaf tea. Bought one for all of my friends. Much easier than using tea bags.
Not sure if I needed another tea gadget, but I'm in love with this contraption. It is so fun and easy to use that I find myself drinking more tea throughout the day just to get to use it!
This tea steeper is great. I had the 1st one for a long while and it ended up breaking somehow. So I've had my eye on this one for some time and finally pulled the trigger. So far I can't tell any difference other than looks but it works great! . I highly recommended.
First time using and extremely pleased. Easy to use, easy to clean. It held 16oz of water with no issues, stayed warm while steeping.

This little tea pot is replacing my 23+ year old IngenuiTea pot. (good quality!) My 'old friend' tea pot still works fine except the filter is so clogged that it doesn't drain very well now matter no much I try to clean the filter--replacement filters are not available for my old Ingenuitea. That is the backstory and my comparison to this new tea pot. I just received the IngenuiTEA 2. It has a pleasing appearance but the oval shape doesn't contribute to its functionality. The filter is removable, that is a strong plus. I need to be able to clean all the components of the tea pot. The base is just wide enough to sit on a regular cup. I use a wider, 16 oz coffee mug. The feet don't sit over the top of the mug so my work around is I set a table knife on top of the mug and rest the tea pot on it and the edge of the mug so the tea can drain into the mug. Other than needing to adapt the base to sit on a large mug, the tea pot works fine. Note to self: I bought an extra filter since I expect to have this one at least 20 years! Update: I discovered that the oval shape is helpful for people with medium sized hands to reach for the filter. The container is actually smaller than I expected. A large-sized hand may not be able to pull the filter out. I think the oval shape helps to put one's hand in as opposed to this being a round container. Having a removable filter is essential to being able to clean the plastic plug. I've already had to remove the plug and clean it to stop the leaking.
I had two just like this from another tea company that no longer exists. They are finally at the end of their life so I got this as a replacement. Absolutely love them. Perfect for a really big cuppa, or big enough to make one for you and a friend. Easy to clean, love how they come apart so you can clean all the parts.
Never tried the first gen but I recommend this second gen. No complaints. The drip catch tray is a nice touch and I like the fact you can replace the filter if/when it gets too dirty or overused
This is a wonderful tea 'maker' - I've used the original model for years and took a chance on this one, and it's now my favorite.
A great new tea gadget to play with. It gives the tea plenty of room to steep and holds the perfect amount of liquid to fill the numerous coffee cups overflowing my cupboard. The filter comes out to clean, but it is a bit awkward to reach in and pull it out of the pot. The packaging says its dishwasher safe, but I will probably hand wash it.
Smaller then the old ones but still work great. easier to clean , and sleeker design. nice upgrade for use.

I had my original IngenuiTEA for at least 5 years before it gave up the ghost and had to be replaced. The removable filter and included drip tray swayed me to upgrade to this model. The improved lid allows for the condensation to easily slide down into the reservoir once opened, which I didn't fully appreciate until witnessed in action. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because sometimes the bottom feet misalign with the drip tray when I set it down and I freak myself out thinking I'm going to spill the contents all over. If the drip tray was a little bit wider it would be a perfect 5/5.
I love that I can take this completely apart to clean it. It's easy to use and doesn't leak like a different product I had.
Easy to use & fun. A little hard to clean, but I just put water into it and don't always take the filter out.

I like all of Adagio's infuser that I've tried, and I like that this one is like my first infuser (that still does the job quite nicely despite being more old than I care to admit). My one complaint with this model is that for someone like me who handwashes my infuser and air dries them, it's a bit challenging to set these guys in a position where they can dry, but aren't at risk of falling to the floor and breaking the lid. While the original model lid comes off so easily it scared me a bit, it does make drying easier!
However, that's a minor complaint and I will say they've been sturdy enough so far when there's been an accidental drop (though I certainly don't want to test my luck)! I will still happily purchase this product again in the future!

works great, just like the original. I wish the lid opened up just a little more, but I'm glad that it doesn't fall back down easily like the original
This infuser is amazing. I loved the original Ingenuitea, but this one looks and feel better, at it fits in different cup sizes. My wife also loves it. 100% recommended.
Avery good upgrade from the first IngenuiTEA, it is nice the filter is removeable for cleaning, I use both 1 and 2 on a daily basis.
