What a great idea. I bought one of these for work. I was concerned because the reviews said the glass was too fragile. It is very thin...but so far I have managed to use it without breaking it. :)
the glass infuser makes a perfect cup tea I reccomend this to all tea drinkers. The only draw back the glass could have been thicker
Perfect for a single cup of tea. Holes in the infuser are small enough so that even herbal teas like rooibos won't end up in your cup. Highly recommended.

I like how there are no holes at the very bottom of the infuser; this allows me to move it around without dripping tea on the counter.
It is nice. I don't see what people are saying about being flimsy. In comparison to other glass cups or mugs I have owned it is on par. Glass by the way is almost never as thick as porcialen.
I use it everyday. I only wish the glass could be a little bit thicker. Other than that, perfect size for daily cup of tea from adagio :-)
I use the glass mug with the infuser daily, makes a great cup of tea. Only caveat is that the mug and lid are not very strong so don't slam down the cup or lid!

The overall look is nice, but the only issue is that the glass is just too thin for the price. The infuser is awesome though! It's very high quality mesh. The lid is nice because you can use it as a holder for the infuser when you're finished brewing.
This is my favorite tea mug. The clear glass makes it easy to see what you're drinking, and the infuser is easy to clean and use. I love that there are no plastic pieces involved and that the mug really highlights the tea. Notes: There are no draining holes at the bottom of the filter, so you have to tilt it a little to remove all the tea. Also, the filter can get quite hot from resting in the water, so you'll want to move fast when removing it! Even with these two drawbacks, I love the mug enough to give it a 'great' rating. :)
It seems a little flimsy, I haven't broken it but I am very careful with it. The infuser works well but can be difficult to clean sometimes. I would buy the ingenuiTEA teapot over this, but it's very nice to have at work.
great for a cup of tea, rooibos tends to get caught in the infuser, but not a big deal to clean out.
I have owned many infusers over the years but none as great as this one! It has a sleek and easy to use design that slips right into the mug or pot. It is easy to wash and very durable. I especially like it becsue I drink a lot of rooibus and the holes are very small for the tiny leaves! I plan to buy an extra one of these to have at work.
Sweet deal!!! Yes, the cup is made of thin glass, but unless you drop it or seriously man-handle it, you should be fine. The infuser cleans VERY well. The mesh is quite fine, so you're not stuck picking out wet or dry leaves. Some of the Roobios leaves do make it through the mesh, but it's not too bad. Love it!!!
This has been working great. Leaves can get stuck a little bit but it is not hard to clean out.
I love the way the tea looks in the mug, but long-term it just breaks too easily. I'd order the infuser again in a nanosecond, though. It immediately took over as my main infuser, as it does a much better job of infusing without leaving detritus in my tea than any other infuser I've tried. I have noticed, however, that when I'm not drinking green tea (which is rare), the rims are unpleasantly hot when removing it from the hot tea.
I have used this mug and infuser on a daily basis at work. I love it. It does feel light, but the mug is strong and I've had no problems with it at all. The infuser is so easy to clean. Great product!
The glass and infuser are perfect for work, I'm a little worried about how it looks after a few months of black tea stains, but hopefully it will clean up well, and I don't really care about how it looks anyway, although it does look awesome. My only real complaint is that I worry about breaking the lid, since it's thinner glass then the mug and I already have a chip taken out of it on the rim.
The infuser is wonderful. You can use it again & again & not feel like you're wasting trees as with the paper bags. I have three infusers so I can have different teas as I choose (I usually brew the leaves 2x). The glass mug is nice because it lets you see the color of the tea you're brewing which is fun.
Simple to use and works great. It's not so easy to use at work, but it's great for when I don't feel like using a pot. There is plenty of room in it for the tea to fully bloom.
I bought this set to use at the office. Works perfectly! I use it on a daily basis by heating water in the cup and then steeping at my desk. Some said in reviews that the glass feels too fragile. I agree that the glass is much lighter in weight than I expected however this glass is very sturdy. It is the same type of glass used in French Presses. The only semi gripe that I have is the metal insert gets very hot.
This is a great product. I'm bringing it to work today so I can drink loose leaf tea there instead of just bagged tea.

Very good for brewing all my loose leaf Adagio teas. Some people are worried about the thinness of the glass, but I've used mine several times and always run it through the dishwasher and have had no problems.
This is my favorite infuser, because it keeps the majority of the leaves in the infuser, even the smaller ones.

The glass mug feels very delecate but it seems to hold up nicely. The infuser works well but is kind of a pain to clean.
The infuser gets hot and becomes difficult to remove and if you fill it up with too much water, placing on the cover will cause the water to boil over -- not safe. The cup is great and sturdy but the handle is way too small and thus not proportionate to the rest of the cup.
The tiny mesh is great for leaf-free tea. It just fits my teapot and is easy to clean. It would be nice if the mesh were a little lower or on the bottom so the infuser would drain completely. It is nice and deep and there is plenty of room for the leaves to expand.
The mug is so delicate it makes me nervous using it sometimes. I wish the infuser had smaller holes because when brewing Rooibus tea, for example, the particles come through into the mug, which to me is annoying.
I was actually disappointed with this mug and strainer mostly because its hard to rinse the leaves out of to switch teas.

I've been using this more than my IngenuiTEA because it's made of glass. I infuse different types of strong teas that usually flavor the infuser of the IngenuiTEA. This infuser is metal & the mug is glass so the flavor & smell is easily rinsed away with a little hot water.

I'm glad the insert fits in a lot of my favorite cups or mugs, because the fragile mug is most likely doomed and won't get much use. I also wish the insert had some sort of extension tab to make it a bit easier to handle. Does the job, though.

LOVE this tea cup. Don't get me wrong, the Ingenuitea is great but I LOVE this cup. It's a great 'at work' cup. I like that I can admire the color of the tea while sipping. I love the lid doubles as a coaster. Definately worth the money!
