I purchased a dozen of these in both sizes and love the style, lids fit snug with a rubber gasket to help hold in air. However, the rubber gaskets also absorb odors. Several of the more fragrant teas (especially my mint) have ruined their jars because I can't get the scent out of the rubber. Soaking multiple days in baking soda, vinegar, hot water, dishwashing liquid (unscented!) , bleach (be careful to dilute or it may dry out the rubber) have had mixed results. It's possible to also stuff with newspapers to try to absorb lingering oders or try or re-season with old/expired tea but that would take months probably. If you prefer fragrant teas and can dedicate each jar to a specific tea then you'll be fine with these. Otherwise, you will have aroma cross contamination which may negatively impact your more sensitive teas.

I love the way mu tea looks in this container and the generous size for the price.

There really is not much to say about this except it is great. You can see your beautiful tea and also keep it safe from scary UVs. Enough said!

I bought this jar for storing my favorite homemade blend. The UV-protected clear glass is great - I like being able to display this blend, since it's very pretty just to look at. The jar is sleek and attractive. I'm not crazy about the lid - it isn't super-secure, the ring has to be removed for washing and can be a bit fiddly to put back on, and the crevices need to dry thoroughly before use. But I will probably get more of these jars eventually, since so many of my favorite teas are pretty.

Really pretty, it did exactly like it was supposed to, sealing my tea, giving easier access to my favorite blend with the added benefit of not having to rip open the bag of tea.

I love the smaller size jars.. They are the perfect size especially when you have lots of favorites :) i do wish we could buy replacement lids for the though as the gasket on one of my old large jars has torn.

The lid fits perfectly and i like looking at my beautiful tea.

Great glass jar. Holds things really well. Wish it had space for a label.

I expected this to be larger than it was but that was partially my fault. If you are looking for a container to hold most/all of a pound of tea go with the larger jar.

Great for storing my tea samples. Having the tea visible makes me want to drink even more of it.

It is a very nice jar, but I couldn't put a whole bag of tea in it.

This is a great storage unit. It is great to be able to see my tea and know that it is not being destroyed by the light at the same time. Highly recommend.

love this jar. it's attractive, and seals in the aromas of the tea I've put inside (Earl Grey lavender!)

I love the glass jars so much that I bought three of them! They are a great way to showcase my tea, and I get a lot of compliments on them.

These are the perfect size! I am so happy this new size was released.

It looks great, and it keeps my tea sealed tight. Fits a whole bag of tea. I will probably be buying more soon.

This was just what we needed to store our loose leaf tea. If you get a white tea, you'll want to get a size bigger than you think you need because it takes up more space. This jar, though, holds in the aroma and preserves the integrity of the leaves. I will most likely be ordering more for our other teas and possible to keep our ground coffee fresh too!

As I began collecting and trying teas in hopes of starting a healthier lifestyle (Which may or may not be offset by having an awful sweet tooth), I realized my sample bags were taking up a ton of space. I decided to try and fix that by getting a few of these jars, and why not? Quite a few of my teas look absolutely beautiful and this way I can have them out to be seen and there for easy enjoyment! No regrets!
