I love that this is airtight and it's a nice pitcher at a reasonable cost but with the Adagio prepackaged ice tea sets you only use 40 ounces of water which fills the pitcher to the bottom of the handle, seems like the prepackaged sets should make more.
This works really well for loose tea. I now use the ice tea that comes in packets. The description states you can lie flat. The tea would come out of the spout if you did so. Don't try it. I really like the fact the tea will not stain the container like a plastic one I had before.
This pitcher is handy to brew with. The infuser has a nice tight mesh with a removable bottom end for ease of cleaning and the airtight top is great for preventing spills. Less conveniently, the handle on the top makes it almost too tall to fit in my fridge and you have to take it off instead of just shifting it so the spout is clear when you're ready to pour to avoid a very slow and dribbly experience.
Love, love, love it. Works perfectly. Seals well. I like the multiple options for fridge space. In my ever-changing fridge that is definitely a bonus.
So far this pitcher is amazing. Feels very well made and the filter is super fine mesh so all the leaves stay in the infuser!
